( Rea's pov )

I was in a dark place running from the people with red eyes in dark cloaks .

All alone with no hope of escaping and the laughter from the people getting closer and close to me . As kept on running I saw a light with a figure laying in the ground . When I got closer I saw it was my mother I was almost to her but a arm stopped me . It turned the palm of its hand to me and opened it and what it had in it hand was a small dead black butterfly . " I'll hold you close ...... until you fall apart..." I backed up and it repeated it again and again . Then I fell to the ground holding my head I felt like I was going mad " REA ! REA ! WAKE UP ! YOU NEED TO WAKE UP NOW !! "

I looked behind me and saw a small Pomeranian puppy running towards me with tears in its eyes " Loewen ? no your...." " THERES NO TIME YOU HAVE TO WAKE UP BEFORE HE FINDS YOU !!! " " But...! "

( Reality day time )

Lindo pulled the bed sheet off of Rea and tickled her " MMMMAAAAA!!!! STOP ! STOP ! " " geez Rea are you and Ritsuka planning to sleep the day away . That's a shame since its so pretty out . " Lindo moved away from Rea an opened the blinds to let a little light in . " I'm doing laundry where are your guise's dirty cloths . " Ritsuka got up to get hers and Rea tried to get up from her bed but fell . And with a quick motion Lindo caught her " Are you sick Rea ? " but she didn't answer so he felt her head . " your burning up Rea . Ritsuka could you get a ice pack and some fever medicine . " " ok Lindo I will be right back . " Lindo placed Rea back on the bed and put her blanket on her . Soon Ritsuka came back with the medicine and the ice Ritsuka placed the ice pack on her head and Lindo gave her the medicine . " ...thank...you..both ..." " no problem Rea . "

" will take good care of so try and take it easy for a while ok . " Rea gave them both a small smile and closed her eyes .

" Its just like old times you remember . Rea used to always get ill ever since her puppy Roen disappeared and she would look for it noun stop . She would look for it in the rain and in the hottest of days to the coldest but she never did stop looking for him . " " she really loved that puppy even mom tried to get her a new one but she always said that no puppy in the world could replace him . So we helped her look for him but never found him But she was glad that we tried to help . "

" Yah you where just like a prince to her and me the way you where constantly watching out for both of us . And I think wow we have the coolest brother in the hole world . But now look at you . " " I'm not cool . That it ? " " Ah ha ha hay you said it not me . " " I'm still cool . " Ritsuka tried to open the window but it didn't open so she looked out side the window and saw a lock on it . " what on earth why is it locked ? " she turned around to look at Lindo " Lindo did you do this ? " " I did . I have to protect you and Rea Ritsuka . Please try to under stand . " Ritsuka thought for a moment " there is a roomer that your an exorcist is that true ? " After hearing what Ritsuka had said Lindo stared at her with a shocked face .

( In the kitchen/Living room )

" I'm sure you remember grandpa used to studied folklore and demonology . " " Yah . " " He was the top researcher in his field . Unfortunately being the best attracted unwanted attention from some rather nasty creatures . " " what kind of nasty creatures ? " " well honestly they where vampires and devils . In the end they murdered grandpa . " " But wait I thought he got sick and passed away . " " Only because he was stricken with a fatal curse . " " what ? " " Now you know . That's the reason we had to keep you and Rea away from him when he died . I was there with him in his final moments . Afflicted by the curse he was no longer human . Grandpa was unbelievably worried about you Rea and mom . Before he died he made me promise that I would keep you all safe not matter what . " " I see but why ? why you Lindo ? " " All this vampire and devil stuff has been hammered into me since I was a kid the folklore demonology all of it . Protecting you , mom , Rea our family that has been my job of years . " " So you became an exorcist . Did mom know about everything . " " Yes she did . And that's why she nagged you and Rea to where your pendent and Rea to where her bracelet Potpourri repels evil . " " I don't get it why didn't anyone tell us . " " We where planning to before your birthday's arrived . But then those guys came along . " " There's no way this is true ! " Ritsuka then remembered the man in the cloak said " Where is the Forbidden Grimoire and the Devil's clock ? tell me now...." " Red eyes ...." " Red eyes means vampire . Who ever took mom was probably one . " " For real but why would they take her and why on earth would they want me and Rea ? " " Grampa had a pretty good theory . He believed that the devils power is starting to fade . And so the vampires are capitalizing on the opportunity . And that where the Grimoire and the devil's clock come into play . " " gasp ! " " Do you know what they are . " " we only know the name and that's all . " " The Grimoire is extremely powerful . When its activated it reveals the location of the devil's clock and who ever possesses both of them could control the entire world and time itself . And these creatures believe that the Tachibana family it the key to the Grimoire's whereabouts and to finding the devil's clock . That's why they targeted you mom and Rea . " " What for me and Rea don't know anything about it . " then Ritsuka thought back for a minuet and remembered something that Urie asked her " Hold on back when me and Rea where at the amusement park with Urie . He knew about the book and the clock . " " All of the student council know . Urie Sogami , Mage Nanashiro , Shiki Natsumezaka and Rem Kaginuki . They know because their devils . "

" Their devils and vampires . So was that the power of a devil ? but then ....your alright ! oh Rem I was so worried about you ! "

( Outside Lindo's pov )

Before I got out of the house I checked on Rea and her fever seemed to have died down so I gave her some more medicine and walked out of the house . As I was leaving I put a chine on the door knob so nobody could get in or out . I walked to the front gate and sprinkled some holy water on the ground when I was done I looked to Rea and Ritsuka's bedroom window " Ritsuka ... Rea........"

" No matter what it takes I will protect them . " then I turned around and walked away from the house .

( Ritsuka's pov )

I watched Lindo walk away from the house and I got out the crowbar that I had under my bed and tried to open the window . " Ritsuka what are you doing ? " " trying to get the window open . " " hmm If I help you open it can I come too ? " " huh ? But Rea aren't you still feeling sick ? "

" nope I feel much better and I don't take no for an answer you know that . " " sigh Alright you can come . " Rea got on the same side as me and we both pulled it then window opened Rea and I fell backwards I landed on the bed with Rea on top of me . " Nailed it ! " " Hooray ...." Soon me and Rea changed and hoped out the window . " Kay hear it goes . " sorry Lindo but we have to learn the truth .

( Time skip to school Third library )

Rea and Ritsuka made there way to the third library . Ritsuka was about to knock on the door when it opened and reviled a boy with blue hair and matching eyes .

" oh hi is Rem hear ? are you on the student council too ? " " Wait I haven't I seen you at th-! " then out of know where he closed the door in front of them . Rea was about to say something again but she was interrupted my foot steps coming from the stairs . They both turned around and saw Rem walling up the stairs "

( Rea's pov )

" oh there you are . " I heard Ritsuka say to him " do you both need something ? " " well you see you've been so nice about all the stuff going on with our mother although -! " " We want to know are you doing this because of the Grimoire and the devil's clock . " keep asking I asked him " Well you keep asking us and we feel safe when we are with you . "

" well not me I don't feel safe around him . " " Rea be nice he has done so much for us . " " yes but is it genuine " I say to Ritsuka " your brother hates me . That complicates things . You both shouldn't spend time with me anymore I'm sorry but I cant continue to offer you both my help . " " hold up " I watched the doors close behind him " come on Ritsuka lets go . " I gently take her hand and we both walk to the front doors .

( Azuna's pov )

I was on my phone texting and reading messages . " Its the grate Rem ! " I heard some of my class mates say and I looked up from my phone and saw him " Hello I'm looking for the Tachibana twins . " " Ritsuka and Rea ? " " we haven't seen them today . " heard them say then Rem started to walk out the class room and I got in front of him " Oh sorry Ritsuka and Rea aren't at school today . Is everything alright ? " " Are you sure they where just at the third library . Oh well " and he walked off . I took my phone out and texted Lindo " aww crap "

( Time skip to Rea and Ritsuka )

( Ritsuka's pov )

We where walking threw the hall ways and while we where walking we heard some girls gossiping I was about to see what they where talking about but Rea didn't stop walking . " Rea what's wrong ? " " Those three girls are looking for us so its better to keep on walking away from them . " " That's odd what could they want from us ? " " Its not them its Rem who wants to see u-! " Rea was interrupted when she bumped into someone and that some one was Rem . " Oh Rem what a surprise . " " ouch what did I hit . " " you didn't look where you where going and bumped into rem . " I saw rea look at him weirdly but before she could say something I heard Azuna calling us " Azuna ? " Soon I felt Rem grab mine and Rea's hands " Lets go . " " Ok where " he led us down the hall .

( Time skip the abandon room )

( Rea's pov )

The boy that was pretending to be Rem led us into and abandon room . Ritsuka thought it was Rem but I could see right threw it but Ritsuka couldn't tell the difference like me . we soon came to a stop and Ritsuka asked him something but I was to tired to hear them . My thoughts where soon interrupted by a familiar voice " RITSUKA ! REA ! " " Lindo ? " Then I turned around and saw more of them and they circled around Ritsuka .

" RITSUKA ! " I tried to run over to her but was stopped by three of them . " I don't have time to fool around with you three ! move out of my way now ... " I said in a threatening voice . Then I heard Ritsuka screaming for help then my brother kicked one of them away from her .

( Out Side ) ( ??? Pov )

"Would you look at that they actually fell for it my plan is working perfectly . What will you do time to show me your true power mister exorcist . "

I continued to watch as my brother got hit with metal bares on the back and on the side of his head while protecting my sister .

" stop it ..no ...stop ! " one of them was about to hit him again " I SAID STOP !!!!!!! " me and Ritsuka shouted and the pendent on her neck broke and so did with my bracelet then I felt my

left eye glow and I saw my shadow sped out under them and white arms grabbed all of them . " REA ! " " I don't care your all humans screw this nice guy stuff . " I saw Lindo get up and he had a book in his hand . " By the secret name you will obey my command . Those who hidden in shadows I renounce you be gone !!!! " after he said that they where blown away . After that happened I blacked out .

( Out Side ) ( ??? Pov )

" oh that smell . Its faint but still enticing . I think I've seen enough for one day . This proved to be very enlightening . And one step closer to finding the devil's clock . "

( Time skip night time Tachibana house )

( Rea awake )

When they all got home Rea and Ritsuka rapped Lindo's wounds up so that they wont get worse " you protected us like you promised . It was really cool we didn't know you had it in you . " " yah " " thanks for the vote of confidence you two . Though I hope now you both believe me about the council being mad up of devils . " " maybe I don't know I just don't think that Rem could really be bad it hard to believe . " " And I don't think Loewen could be bad ether . " " Ritsuka Rea you both really don't get it do you . " " no we don't get it all . " " oh and we decided to back to school too Lindo . " " what for ? " " we are sicken tired of not knowing stuff . We are going to find some answers . "

" Oh and Lindo if you try to stop us we will just brake out again . " " ha I was starting to think my two little sisters had finally grown up a little bit this year but I can see that you two are still as stubborn as ever . " Lindo reached into hid back pocket and pulled out to rings a blue one for Ritsuka and a

red one for Rea . " take these there the rings of the sacred lux . as long as you both ware them you will be safe . " " wow the sacred lux . "

" if you both want to go to school that badly I wont stop you . " really . " " and starting tomorrow I will be going to school too . " " seriously our school . " " your kidding right ? " " nope I will be going to your schools with you both . "................." HAH!!!!!!!" Ritsuka and Rea both said .
