Chapter 13

Y/N POV

After putting on my clothes and brushing my hair, I stepped out of the bathroom and into a scene straight out of a movie. I hadn't fully paid attention to the gore and carnage in my room before, but I couldn't ignore it now. The bodies were everywhere, necks were ripped open, and hearts were torn out. And daggers were in their chests.

Namjoon was leaning against my desk, wearing a new suit with a red tie, his foot was on top of one of the dead bodies. He was reading through a stack of paperwork as if he wasn't surrounded by dead bodies.

I looked over to Soo-hee who was now dead, her eyes were still wide open, staring blankly at where I was when I stabbed her. She still had that surprised look on her face. She didn't think I would kill her, but she should have known if you push someone hard enough, they would either fight back or run away from their problems, but I was never the one to run away and I never will be.

"Miss Y/N, what else would you want me to pack?" Jungkook said, pulling me out of my thoughts. I turned to him, blinking a few times to clear my mind. Jungkook was standing by the dresser with a few packed suitcases and one open on my bed. I didn't pay much attention to him before, but now that I'm looking at him, he's super attractive. He was a few inches shorter than Namjoon but he was still taller than me.

He had his black hair in a small man bun, he had these cute brown doe eyes which made him more attractive, and his overall appearance was much more welcoming than Namjoon's, Namjoon is gorgeous but he's terrifying at the same time, Jungkook was hot yet friendly, or so he seemed

Namjoon saw the way I was taking in Jungkook's appearance. Namjoon held me in his arms standing between Jungkook and me, his eyes flashing red "Kitten, what else do you want to take with you?" He asked me, trying to sound soft but I know he was jealous.

"Just my clothes, there's nothing else I care about," I said as I put my head on his chest, sighing softly.

"Jungkook," Namjoon said, not taking his eyes off of me as he took my hand and led me over the bodies and out of the room.

"Yes sir," Jungkook said, picking up the suitcases and following us out of the room.

"Aren't you going to take care of that?!" My mother shrieked, standing in front of us at the base of the stairs.

Namjoon was about to reply but stopped once I squeezed his hand. "Take care of it yourself!" I spat at her, looking over at my father, who was sitting at the table and counting the money that Soo-hee gave him.

"And where the fuck do you think you're going?" She asked me, noticing Jungkook standing behind us, carrying my suitcases.

"Away from you," I said and shoved her hard, making her fall to the ground. My father jumped up and ran to her side, making sure she was okay before looking at me, not even trying to hide the hatred he had for me on his face.

"You fucking whore! Who do you think you are?!"

I took Namjoon's hand and continued to walk out the door to where his car was parked. Another expensive car was parked behind his which was Jungkook's, he put the luggage in the trunk and drove off to Namjoon's house. "Do we have to go now?" I asked him as he opened the passenger door for me.

"No, where do you want to go?" He asked me as he got in the driver's seat and fastened the seatbelt on me.

"I don't know, but I wanna be outside," I responded. He nodded and started driving without another word. "Namjoon, in the shower earlier, you said you couldn't yet…why not?"

He chuckled as he parked the car and held my hand, leading me to a park. I walked with him into the park and sat on a swing. He leaned against the pole watching me as I began to swing. This felt familiar, but I couldn't remember why. "Do you remember being here?" He asked me as if he was reading my mind.

"This place is familiar, but I don't remember."

"This is why I said I couldn't yet, I made a promise that I wouldn't until you turned eighteen."

"Who did you promise that to?" I asked him curiously

"You, kitten." He said as he grabbed the chains of my swing, stopping me. "Your parents forgot to pick you up from school once, so I stayed with you until they arrived. We sat here on the swing set. You were still a young thing, you were seven years old. You told me I was the most handsome man and you even asked me if I could marry you." He said, smiling softly, he pushed me gently on the swing before he continued. "I told you I would marry you, but only if you still wanted me when you turn eighteen. You were pissed off, so you said if you can't be married to me, then I am not allowed to have sex with you until you were old enough to marry me."

"I do remember that!" I exclaimed, the memory now vivid as I remembered it. "You don't consider what you've done to be sex though?" I asked him, trying not to blush.

"Well I asked you specifically what sex was, and you told me it was the thing adults did to make babies. I have done nothing that would make a baby with you, so no."

(I wanna clarify that in the previous chapter, the female lead and the male lead DID NOT HAVE SEX, it was more oral if you know what i mean)

"That is so immensely fucked up!" I laughed out loud. "doesn't it weird you out at all to want me, even when you watched me grow up?" I asked as I jumped off the swing and hugged him tightly, looking at his gorgeous face.

"You have to remember something, kitten, no human being that is currently alive was around when I was born. I've been around to watch millions die and millions be born." He said, kissing my forehead as he picked me up and carried me to the car. "It's nearly midnight, and you need to get some sleep."

I felt a pang of sadness when I heard what he said. I couldn't imagine how lonely he was at times. Knowing he would outlive every human alive. "I'm not tired at all, but I am hungry," I said as he sat me in the car.

He drove us to a restaurant that was open for twenty-four hours. We went inside and sat in a small booth, facing each other, and we waited until after we ordered before saying anything more. "I know you want to ask me something," Namjoon said.

"What is your real name?" I asked as I took a sip of my sweet tea. "I know you haven't kept the same name for years."

"The name I was given since birth? Lucifer Namjoon Kim," he said, looking down at the table.

"You know, when you came to my house that night, I thought that you were the actual devil," I said with a giggle and then looked at him. "Do you think there's something wrong with me?..."

"Why would I?" He asked me.

"I wanted to kill Soo-hee because I needed to kill her? Or better yet, because I enjoyed it?..."
