"Bumalik ka dito!"

"Gin!"

Kahit halos masilaw si Miyuki sa ilaw na nagmumula sa hallway ay pilit niya pa ring hinanap si Gin. Alam niya, ramdam niya nasa paligid niya pa si Gin. Nakapagtataka rin at biglang naging tahimik ang paligid na para bang walang ibang tao. Dapat ay may mga katulong na naglilibot na ngayon lalong lalo na't may sugat ang kamay niya. Alam na niyang mga bampira rin ang mga katulong sa mansyon.

"Hindi ako nagmumura pero mapapamura ako dahil sa'yo, Gin! Putangina 'wag mo kong iwan! Leche ka!"

Nakahawak ang mga kamay niya sa dingding na siyang pumipigil sa kaniya na hindi matumba sa pagkahilo dahil sa wine na ininom nila ni Gin idagdag pa ang heels na kaniyang suot na siyang nagpapabagal sa kaniya.

Nakarinig siya ng mahihinang yabag hindi kalayuan at napagtantong nagmumula iyon sa silid ni Gin. Talagang hindi pa ito nakakaalis.

Itutulak na sana niya ang malaking pinto ng silid ni Gin ngunit may malamig na kamay na siyang humawak sa kaniyang braso. Napatigil si Miyuki at pikit mata niyang tiningala ang lalaking may suot na pamilyar na mask.

"Let him go. It's for your sake," ani ng lalaki bago siya nito marahas na hinila palayo sa pinto.

"Putangina ka Gin! Lumabas ka!" pagsisigaw niga habang nagpupumiglas sa malakas na hawak sa kaniya ng lalaki. Nang tumingin siya sa braso niya tiyaka niya napansin na tila normal lang naman ang hawak sa kaniya ng lalaki pero para sa kaniya tila ang lakas ng pagkakahawak nito.

Bumukas ang pinto at inuluwal nito si Gin na walang ekspresyon ang mukha at tinitigan ang lalaking may hawak sa kaniya.

Kung sana mas naging selfish si Gin at hindi na hinayaan pang makihalubilo si Miyuki sa labas ng mansyon nila. If only he was selfish to just keep her by himself. Pero alam niya kahit masaya naman si Miyuki sa piling niya it won't be good to keep her away from the world. To keep her away from the cruel world was his other mission but how could he? If letting her face the world's cruelty would be the only way he could keep her life and away from the dangers their kind could bring. It's better to face the human's cruelty than their kind.

"Answer me Gin! Nangako kang hindi mo ako iiwan." As Miyuki threw her small fist to Gin's chest she finds herself weakened. Kung kaya't napaupo nalang siya sa harap ni Gin at napayuko. All she could think was how the hell Gin end up to this kind of decision? Bigla-bigla na lamang siya nitong iiwan without even asking nor telling her and it's even on her birthday.

Gin can't look at her. Here he thought the tawny port could make her fall asleep before he go. Now, he's dealing on not to sway on his emotions.

Ilang sandali lamang ay may mabigat na bagay na sumandal sa hita ni Gin. It was Miyuki's head seems like she feel asleep.

Dahan-dahan siyang yumukod para buhatin si Miyuki at marahang inilapag sa kanyang kama. Accidentally, he saw Miyuki's wounded palms. Alam niyang may sugat ito ngunit nakakaya niyang kontrolin ang panghahalina mula rito dahil sa gamot na nananalantay sa dugo ni Miyuki.

However, he had the urge to taste her blood again not because it's tempting as a vampire, but a kind of temptation he never thought would struck him.

Nakaupo lamang si Gin sa tabi ni Miyuki. Pinasadahan niya ng tingin ang kabuonan ni Miyuki tiyaka pa lamang nag sink in sa kaniya ang suot nito.

"Is this even a clothing?" naaasar na bulong ni Gin sa sarili habang iniaayos niya ang kumot nito. He was thinking if he left, Miyuki would change her style into something nasty and revealing.

"No. Control yourself Gin. Control," bulong niya sa sarili bago tuluyang tumayo.

Lightning strucks again illuminating his room. Nakita niya ang repleksyon niya sa bintana. His eyes flickered red while at his back layed down Miyuki who was now awakened.

He wanted to move. He should move and just leave, but the way Miyuki looks at him from the reflection it was just seductive.

Miyuki smiled before she grabbed him and ended up on top of her. His glasses fell down the floor. His heart beats fast remembering the same night Miyuki had got herself drunk. This was not his purpose for giving her the same drink.

"Gin," Miyuki whispered in her soft low voice while looking lewdly on his eyes. It triggered something in Gin but still stayed stiff on top of her.

"I love you," whispered Miyuki on Gin's ears before she pulled Gin's face towards her.

At that moment Gin knew he fucked up. All that holding backs he have done just backfired at him. Their lips met. Gin felt the same lingering sensation he felt the first time their lips touched. The burning sensation felt so addicting to him.

Chiron immedietly wore a mask while he hands another to Gin. Chiron whose facing Miyuki's back could see Gin's regret, sadness and love to her.

"You could kill her with your blood lust master. You could kill her with your burning love—lust or whatsoever right there." Inihagis nito ang mask sa gilid ni Gin at agad na tumalikod.

Pagkasarado ng pinto ay agad na sinilip ni Gin ang babaeng nakatulog sa bisig niya.

"Ngayon ka pa nahihaya na puro kabastusan nga ang lumalabas diyan sa bibig mo," sagot sa kaniya ni Gin.

"Hey! Ikaw nga diyan eh. You—you're ano—How do you know everything you did?!"

"It's a talent I guess." Iniharap ni Gin ang mukha ni Miyuki sa kaniya. "You like it do you?" he ask as if teasing her.

"Nope it's an understatement. I love it."

"Wait—what?" He didn't expect Miyuki to answer so straight. "Kailangan mo ng magbihis. I'll get you something to wear." Tumayo si Gin at agad nagtungo sa dressing room upang kumuha ng kanyang damit at ng kay Miyuki. Pagbalik nito ay may dala na itong malaking T shirt at boxer na agad namang binigay kay Miyuki na kasalukuyang nakaupo sa gilid ng kama.

"Magbihis ka na," usal ni Gin at sinamaan ng tingin si Miyuki. "I don't want those two see you naked."

Agad ring nagbihis si Miyuki mismo sa harapan ni Gin. After all Gin had seen her body there's nothing she should be shy of. Agad rin siyang lumapit kay Gin na nakasuot na ng salamin at kasalukuyang nagbobutones.

"Stating the obvious? Mr. No Surname," tinatamad ngunit sarkastikong sagot naman ni Cessair.

Dahan-dahang inalis ni Miyuki ang pagkakahawak kay Gin at agad itong niyakap. She knows what will happen next. Gin would still leave her.

"Master, your mask." Agad na sinalo ni Gin ang mask na ininahagis sa kaniya ni Chiron at agad na sinuot. "You need to go."

"Aalis ka pa rin?" mahinang usal sa kaniya ni Miyuki na nakasubsub pa rin sa dibdib niya. "You'll still leave me after all."

"Kailangan Miyuki. Ako ang kailangan nila. If giving myself to them will protect the many especially you, I'll always be willing to give myself. No matter what it takes." Tinapik nito ang ulo niya at bahagya itong tinulak sa kama, "Cover yourself with blanket. I don't want these two to lay their eyes on your body."

Agad na nagtungo sa pintuan si Gin kung saan nakasandal si Cessair at Chiron.

"Chiron her medicine don't you dare forget."

"But master—"

"Bathory may plano naman tayo makakalabas ka rin sa mga kamay nila," Cessair interrupted.

"Mahirap gawin ang sinasabi niyong foolproof plan however we'll still try. But just in case, remember what you'll do with Miyuki."

Tumango ang dalawa bago bahagyang yumukod si Chiron kay Gin.
