It's been two months since the 'talk' with Haunley and now she's always on the library reading the hidden books about the vampires' existence. She was curious and with that she got herself ditching Chiron na palaging naghihintay sa kanya sa labas ng campus kapag biyernes.

Nakatulong rin ang magarbong sasakyan na ginagamit nito sa tuwing sinusundo siya dahil palaging maraming tao ang nakapaligid rito. Madali lamang sa kaniya ang humalo sa maraming tao kung kaya't hindi na siya nakikita ni Chiron.

"Bakit mo na naman ako dinala dito? Haven't I told you to stay away from me? From us?"

It was Haunley complaining again being dragged by her. She was stubborn. Mas lalo siyang nakikipagclose rito dahil sa kanyang kuryusidad. As long she doesn't bleed it is fine being with him. She doesn't feel threatened. After all he saved Erin.

"Ang OA mo naman Kuya," she emphasized the word 'kuya'. She sometimes saw Gin figure in him. They both hate being called Kuya. She knew that Haunley was almost three years older than her so she teased him by calling kuya.

She dragged Haunley to the library again to help her find books relating to their existence. Ilang beses na siyang napagsasabihan ni Haunley na huwag na at wala namang silbi para sa katulad niya na pag aralan ito. But knowing Miyuki, a curious citizen as she be. Napag-isipan niyang pag-aralan pa rin ito. There's just something she wanted to know.

Malapit ng gumabi nang mapagdesisyonan nilang umuwi. Nakita na naman niya sa labas ng gate ang magarbong sasakyan na ginagamit ni Chiron pangsundo sa kanya na as usual ay pinalilibutan ng mga estudyante.

Some were taking pictures na parang artista ang kotse. Wala naman siyang magagawa it was Chiron who always choose Gin's car and he would always bought a customised one. Trying to look it more fancier in black.

Napailing lamang siya at agad na nakihalubilo sa daloy ng mga tao hanggang sa makarating siya sa kanilang dorm.

The next morning, saturday. Nakita niyang nakabihis na ng crew uniform si Erin kaya agad rin siyang nagbihis sa kanyang paboritong long dress bago sila sabay na umalis.

Another reason why she stayed in the city is that she was taking part time job on the same cafe shop Erin was working. She was curious and she decided to earn something so she could buy Gin a phone. Alam naman niyang mayaman si Gin. Gin of course was the one who pampered her, but she wanted to give him something she worked hard for.

Dumiretso na si Erin sa counter habang siya naman ay pumunta pa sa locker room para magbihis ng kanyang maid outfit. There are three special 'maids' on the cafe and she was one of them. The cafe's sale rocketed when she started working there that's why the manager loves her being there.

"Ang cute mo talaga sa uniform mo, Miyuki!"

One of her workmates complimented her again. She just smiled at her before going out serving people.

Across the street there was a man leaning on his motorcyle staring on the cafe with a phone on his hand.

"I saw her, she's on the cafe just outside her dorm serving people," that's the only thing he said before ending the call.

"I'm supposed to be searching vampire criminals not a human who doesn't go home." It was his last words before putting his helmet on and drove off.

Up until afternoon the cafe was packed with people who became their regular customer because of Miyuki. Miyuki was smiling ear to ear serving them. She once hated grabbing attention but because of her work she kinda like the attention she was recieving.

Lumapit siya sa lalaking naka coat na nakaupo sa sulok natatakpan ng menu ang mukha nito. Mabuti na lamang at may aircon ang kanilang cafe dahil tiyak na maiiinitan ito kapag wala.

"Good afternoon sir, may I take your order?" she greeted sweetly.

Ibinaba ng lalaki ang binabasang menu at tinitigan siya ng matalim. Halos manlaki ang mata ni Miyuki nang makilala ang lalaking kaharap niya.

"Gin?!" pigil sigaw niyang sambit.

Paano nito nalaman na nasa cafe siya? Lumingon siya sa glass window at nakita sa labas ang sasakyan ni Gin, paniguradong nasa loob nito si Chiron. She frowned.

"Paano mo nalaman na nandito ako?" bakas sa boses niya ang pagtataka. Hindi naman niya kasi napansin si Chiron na sumusunod bawat galaw niya.

"Connections," Gin replied nochalantly and arranged his eyeglasses. "One ube pancake please."

"Eh? Mag oorder ka?"

"Obviously, what should I do in a cafe? Swim?" Gin replied in a sarcastic tone.

Bago paman siya makasagot ay tinawag na naman siya ng iba pang regular customers na tanging siya lamang ang sadya. Lumingon siya sa kanila at bahagyang ngumiti.

"Coming sir!"

Agad siyang pumunta sa counter at ibinigay ang order ni Gin bago lumapit sa grupo ng mga kalalakihang siyang tumawag sa kanya. Those guys are Miyuki's seniors in university kaya kilala na siya ng mga lalaki bago pa man maging regular customers ng cafe.

"Hi Miyuki," one greeted her with a flirtitious smile.

"Hi po. Can I take your order sir?" Miyuki smiled back without hesitations. Hindi nito napansin ang mga mahahalay na tingin ng mga kasamahan nito sa kanya. For a seventeen year old her body was already a magnet for perverted men who just wanted to philander.

She was wearing a cute but sexy black maid dress that almost exposed her chest and also is too short but fluffy.

Hindi ito napansin ni Gin kanina at ngayon pa lamang kung saan matalim ang mga tingin niya sa mesa na nilapitan ni Miyuki. He saw how those men look at Miyuki with perverted eyes.

One guy who was sitting beside Miyuki slowly creeped his hands towards her exposed thighs but before she could even react he just found himself hitting the guy's hand away.

"Move your filthy hands away," he uttered in a threatening voice standing beside Miyuki.

"Gi-Gin? Anong ginagawa mo? bumalik ka na sa mesa mo." Miyuki turned around and saw how their scen had caught the attention of other customers.

"I'm sor—" bago paman matapos ang sasabihin niya ay bigla na lamang siyang pinigilang yumuko ni Gin.

Ipinatong ni Gin ang kanyang coat sa balikat ni Miyuki bago tinapunan ng masamang titig ang mga lalaking nakaupo sa likuran nito. Kanya-kanyang iwas naman sila ng tingin takot sa mapagbantang mata nito.

"Ba—bakit Gin?" Walang ideya si Miyuki kung anong ginawa ni Gin sa mga lalaki ngunit nakita niya na lamang ang sariling inaakbayan nito matapos ayusin ang pagpatong ng coat nito sa kanyang balikat.

"Let's go home."

Halos lahat ng tao sa cafe ay nakatingin sa kanila. Not only because of what Gin just did but because of his overflowing visuals. People were astonished seeing great visuals inside the cafe. Gin just have a mature and mysterious aura in him that people find amusing.

Bago paman sila makalabas ay nakasalubong nila ang papasok na si Chiron. Chiron looked at her amusingly. Chiron realised that she was really turning into a lady. His master is really getting stricter at her.

"Chiron, take care for the rest. Kunin mo ang lahat ng gamit niya and tell the manager she will resign," Gin instructed still having confused Miyuki on his arms. She don't know what did she do for makiny Gin looking angry. Is it because he was ditching home?

Tuluyan ng lumabas sila Gin at dumiretso sa backseat ng kotse. The two were just silent. The lights coming from the cafe were the only light that illuminated inside the car.

Miyuki realised it was merely evening when she looked outside. She was confused and somehow scared with Gin's sudden appearance and actions. She knew Gin hated being in the city so she wondered why is he even here.

Gin on the other hand was trying to calm his nerves. He was angry how naive Miyuki was not noticing the perverts around her. That was really a bad decision of his aggreeing to let Miyuki wander alone in the city. Pero alam niya wala siyang magagawa.

"Gin?" Miyuki called with her low seemingly scared voice. Gin looked at her blankly. "Did I do something wrong?"

Gin glanced at her from head to toe. His face were illuminated by the light reflecting from the cafe. Miyuki saw how his brows furrowed before letting out a big sigh.

"I told you to be careful always Miyuki! What are you even doing and why are even you wearing that?" Gin was half whispering and half shouting, afraid hurting Miyuki's feelings.

"I am working. Sa pagkakaalam ko legal ang ginagawa ko so there's nothing wrong," wika ni Miyuki nang lingunin niya ito.

"You call that descent work? Halos hubarin mo na yang sarili mo for goodness sake! Babae ka Miyuki tandaan mo yan many men would take advantage of you because of your naiveness."

She went silent. Gin might be right but she didn't knew. She didn't knew how other men react with the girls. After all she grew up only with two men beside her—Chiron and most specially Gin.

"I'm sorry," she said before looking away, "I don't know how to identify such. Sanay naman akong makasama kayo ni Chiron so akala ko pareho lang."

Silence prevailed in the car for minutes before rapid footsteps were heard approaching their car. Chiron entered in the driver's seat before tossing a paperbag on the passenger's seat. It was her stuff.

"You're quite naughty young lady. Palagi mo akong natatakasan, good thing Cessair saw you here. That devoted workaholic, " Chiron uttered while starting the car. He then glanced at her, "by the way you look beautiful and sexy tonight, young lady."

Napantig nito ang tenga ni Gin kaya agad niyang pinatanggal ang coat na suot ni Miyuki at inilagay sa harap nito. At the back of his head he felt like he was acting like an old father.

"Eh, Gin sayang outfit ko wag mong takpan. It's not that this was wrong or what. Also Chiron said I looked sexy. Am I?"

He just went silent but he can't deny. Miyuki really looked like a fine young woman basically because of her perfect figure. Pero nakatatak sa utak niya ang ugali ng babaeng to kaya napailing na lamang siya sa kanyang naiisip.

Binaba ni Miyuki ang coat at dahan-dahang nilapit ang sarili kay Gin. She trailed his fingers on Gin's chest towards his chin and just before it trails to his lips, Gin stopped her.

"Hindi ko alam kung saan mo natututunan gawin ang lahat ng ito. You were naive but acting like a pervert. Seriously, Miyuki what specie are you?" Gin scolded her while holding her wrist.

"I was just trying something I have read from a book last year. It was about teasing and stuff. You know BDSM?" Miyuki asked innocently like it was a casual thing.

Biglang napapreno ng malakas si Chiron. Making Miyuki almost stumble on the floor. Siya lang naman ang hindi nakaseatbelt sa kanila. Chiron on the other hand felt nervous. He knew what book Miyuki was referring. It was a book he misplaced and mistakenly given to her.

"Chiron. Just drive," bakas ang diin sa boses ni Gin nang atasan niya ito. Agad rin niyang pinaandar ang kotse at tahimik na nagmaneho. Chiron definetely screwed up.

"Gin, the book said sadists like to hurt while masochists wanted to be hurt. Are you a sadist?" Miyuki was pushed by Gin back to her seat. "Palagi mo kong sinasabihan ng masasakit na salita."

"Idiot I'm not. Wag mo ng alamin kung anong tunay na kahulugan niyan, malalaman mo rin balang araw." Gin uttered it in a threatening voice while glaring on the the dash mirror directly to Chiron.

Miyuki just pouted before looking again outside the window which are now trailed by tall trees. But when would she even understand the real meaning of those acronyms?

But most importantly why is she so eager to know about the vampires Haunley had mention to?
