" Lucifer!" I heard Angelina shout in the crowded hallway, causing me to whip my head around and see her running over to me - from her class - with the brightest smile plastered onto her face; she was wearing a very casual outfit today, a white flowy t-shirt with the words 'Music was my First Love' printed in black on it and a pair on light blue shorts, along with white converse. Angelina also had her hair down - like always - so when she ran, her curls would bob up and down.

   " There you are!" She said as she - literally - attacked me with a hug," I could barely find you in the crowd, thank GOD you're tall."

   " Calm down Angel. You're acting like you haven't seen me in forever." I say as I wrap my arms around Angelina," And FYI, I'm not tall, you're just short."

   " I'm not short!" Angelina protested, looking up at me with puffy cheeks," But I still missed you. My classes seem to become SO boring without you there to bother me..."

   " So I bother you in class? How so?" I ask with a smirk, looking down at my small girlfriend.

   " You always play with my hair! Twirling it with you fingers. It's kinda distracting you know." She replies with a small smile," Plus you never let me work! Always hugging and kissing me, I never get anything done..!"This is all true, in class when Angelina is working, I tend to start playing with her hair, it's just so soft to touch! And the thing with me hugging her all the time, it's just...a habit now, I'm not sure why.

   " Heh, but you like it when I bother you~ So I guess it's a good thing." I say as I bend down a begin to kiss Angelina's cheek, slowly trailing to her lips until our lips make contact.

   " If you guys are gonna be lovey-dovey, at least get out of the hallway." We hear someone say out of the blue, causing us both turn around to see who it was. It was none other than Kate, standing there with a smirk on her face.

   I totally forgot we're having lunch with her today....

   " K-Kate! Why are you just standing there..?" Angelina questioned, her cheeks bright pink.

   " Well, I couldn't just interrupt the sweet moment, could I now? That would be rude." Kate replied, crossing her arms on her chest," Now lets go already! I'm SO hungry!"

   Angelina giggled," Alright alright." She said as Kate began walking to the outside area of the school, with me still standing there," Come on Lucifer, lets go!" Angelina intertwined her finger with mine and began pulling me outside and towards the willow tree, with Kate leading the way.

   Once we made it up the hill to the tree, the three of us plopped ourselves down on the grass. Angelina then placed her backpack in front of herself and unzipped it," So what did you bring today Angel?" I asked as I leaned back on the tree's trunk; Angelina now brought me lunch, saying that she didn't want me forgetting my lunch and have nothing to eat.

   " Sandwiches like always. But I made baloney and cheese this time!" Angelina excitedly replied as she pulled the food out of her backpack," And I made one for you too Kiki."

   " Kiki?" I asked, looking over on the other side of Angelina where Kate sit," Is that the nickname she gave you?"

   Kate nodded in embarrassment before I started to laugh," I-It's not funny!" Kate protested," it's just a stupid nickname..."

   " Well it's better than me calling you Kitty right?~" Angelina replied in a teasing manner, causing her slightly bigger friend to blush in embarrassment, again.

   " K-Kitty?" I asked, trying to hold back my laughter," Angelina wanted to nickname you Kitty?"

   " She said it was because I acted like a cat..." Kate stated, crossing her arms - in a pouty manner - on her chest.

   I suddenly burst into laughter," H-Hey! Don't laugh!" Kate scolded, leaning across Angelina to swat me on the head.

   " Do you not like the nickname Kitty~"

   " I said don't call me that!"

   " Then how about Kit-Kat?"

   " No!"

   " How about claws?"

   " No! Stop it!"

   " KC?"

   " What does that even stand for?"

   " Kitty-Cat~"

   " AGGHH!!! I'm gonna kill you!"

   As hell began to break loose between me and Kate, Angelina just sat there, trying to eat her lunch in peace," Guys..." She said, but nether Kate or I listen," Guys...." We still refused to listen still and continued to bicker.

   Angelina's eyebrow twitched with anger as she let out a sigh, placing her food on the grass near her backpack. She slowly stood up and faced both me and Kate before yelling," Will you two STOP bickering and eat already!?!" I looked at Angelina with a wide-eyed expression, both mine and Kate's jaws feeling like they were about to drop to the floor. I don't think I've heard Angelina yell, ever.

   " S-Sorry Angel..." Why was I suddenly scared of her? She's smaller then me and yet I'm afraid.

   " Yeah, sorry Angelina..." Kate said, a nervous expression on her face.

   Angelina sighed again as she walked back to her spot," You guys are like siblings fighting with each other..."

   " And I guess you're are older sister?" Kate asked with a sly smile.

   " No. I am your mother who will smack you both if you fight again." Angelina replied with a quick glare to both of us before grabbing her food and continuing to eat peacefully.

   I gulped nervously and looked over at Kate, mouthing,' What just happened?' to her. In returned, she shrugged. I guess she has her father's temper and her mother's patience. Kinda a scary combo.

   Angelina sighed again," Guys...I'm sorry for yelling, I'm just a bit...cranky right now..."

   " Why? Is something wrong?" Kate asked, worried for her friend.

   " I'm just so tired right now..." She replied, her eyes now looking droopy,"...do you mind if I take a small nap?"

   " Of course not Angel." I say with a small, yet comforting smile, which causes Angelina to smile in return. Though she didn't finish eating, she laid her head on my lap and quickly fell asleep.

   " That was fast..." Kate said as she took another bite of her food. Once she swallowed, she spoke again," I wonder why she's so tired now..."

   " She can't sleep at night," I answer, looking down at Angelina's sleeping face; she looked so peaceful when she was asleep. I ran my fingers through her hair," She told me that she's afraid to have another nightmare, so it's hard to sleep."

   " Those nightmares..." Kate looked off in the distance before speaking again," They really must be awful if she can't sleep."

   " They really are..." I say as the memories of my nightmares come flashing in my head,"...they are...truly, something awful..."

   " You speak from experience?" Kate asked, scooting closer to me. I give her a small nod," What happened? If I may ask." Why does she seem nice all of a sudden? It's not just me right?

   " My parents...died in a car crash when I was 10. I was in the car when it happened. And ever since, I've had nightmares of it, just like Angelina..." I say, my voice dripping with sadness," So yeah, I speak from experience."

   " I'm sorry..." Kate said, looking away from me with a sad look," If I had known, I wouldn't have been-"

   " So rude? Please, I don't want or need your pity." I state, my voice a bit colder than I had intended," All I need is Angelina's comfort. She really helps me you know..."

   " Yeah I do..." Kate replies, sitting next to me now," It's weird isn't it? That Angelina seems to help everyone around her, but herself?"

   I nod in agreement," She too kind."

   " Just like her mom. She's just like her."

   " You met her mom?"

   " No...but I've heard a lot about her, and seen pictures of her too. They look exactly the same...."

   Silence falls between me and Kate, the only noise to be heard was the sounds of Angelina's soft snores," I should probably go now..." Kate suddenly says as she stands up from her spot on the ground," Tell Angelina I'll see her in 6th period, ok?" Kate smiles as she looks at me.

   I give her a small smile in return," Alright." Kate waves to me before making her way down the hill. 

   I look back down at Angelina's sleeping body and smile. 

   Life seemed so perfect now, it felt as if my life was slowly being pieced together again...

   ...But my happiness never lasts long...
