Natsu heard someone stand up and he whipped around and his mouth dropped open, he saw Lucy stand up, facing the man head-on. 

"Please step away from my friends" Everyone turned at the voice, their eyes wide with shock as they saw Lucy standing up, staring down the man who had revealed himself to be Lucifer. Levy slowly approached her, avoiding Gajeel's attempts to grab her and pull her back. She kept her eyes trained on Lucy, confusion etched into her face.

"Hey, Lu-chan, what are you doing?" Lucy just smiled, her eyes not leaving her father, she felt Levy reach out to her but she pushed it away, her heart aching but she had no choice, Levy wasn't meant to be part of this, she had to keep them safe, she had to. 

"Sorry Levy, please step back I would like to talk with my father" Levy gasped, her hand covering her mouth, and retreated slowly to Gajeel who wrapped his arms around her, his gaze turned into a glare at Lucy. Erza stared at Lucy, shaking her head. Natsu just froze, he slowly looked at Lucifer then back and Lucy, his voice hesitant and shaky. 

"Luce, you're joking right, this guy isn't your father, you're not related to him, right? I've seen your father, he died recently. I, I don't know if this is grief or what's going on, but this guy, he's a nutcase Luce, I don't know what he's done to you but, I just, fuck Luce what's going on?" Lucy bit her lip and turned her head towards Natsu seeing the confusion and desperation on his face, desperately searching for an answer that Lucy knew he didn't want.  

"Unfortunately I'm not joking. Jude, he was, I guess you could say my father here, whenever my father had business here on earth or needed somewhere to put me he used Jude since he had signed a contract, giving up his soul, it's complicated I know, I'm so sorry everyone but I promise, I'll fix this, everyone will be fine, I'll, I'll fix it." She knew everyone was confused by her words, she didn't imagine that her day would turn out like this. She stared at her father who just seemed relaxed, leaning against a table. "Don't worry Father, I'm not bored here, I seem to of grown quite fond of Earth so I think I'll stay for a little longer." Lucifer took a step forward and smiled at her, though it was unnerving. 

"Why, haven't you grown up Lucillia, you should know better." He took the time to look at her up and down, his face crinkling in disgust. "What have you done to yourself, you look just as weak and disgusting as these humans, change" Lucy held her head high as she faced him. She allowed herself to take a deep breath. Everyone was looking at her. She saw Makarov out of the corner of her eye approaching but she just put up her hand, shaking her head.

"Of Course Father." she took a step away from everyone's gaping faces, their eyes never leaving her, she lifted her hands and chanted

"I am the devil, the devil for I am, I am nor human, or women or man" A red circle appeared underneath Lucy symbols similar to a pentagram, this time it didn't change small features like when she was in her apartment, she became her true self. A red light appeared all around her and as it disappeared she stood there her true self clear as day. Usually, she felt confident like this, people getting scared of her and doing what she said but this time was different. She was surrounded by people that she loved and trusted, she didn't want anything to happen to them and she didn't want them to hate her, so she was nervous, nervous that they wouldn't accept her ever again. 

As the light faded Natsu stared at Lucy his mouth hanging open, her lips had black lipstick on and her fingernails were also painted black as well as getting slightly longer, in her hair were strips of red and blonde and one of her eyes became red and the other turned blue. Lucifer though was frowning at her transformation stepping forward, as he did the guild also moved towards him as if to protect Lucy. Lucy felt her heart clench at the sight, they saw her true self, what she really looked like and yet they still wanted to protect her. Lucifer raised an eyebrow at them moving forward before gesturing towards Lucy, his tone sharp.

"Why do you have a blue eye" Lucy's smile faltered at his observation, feeling confused herself

"What?" Erza realized something was wrong before anyone else did and stepped forward and stood behind Lucy, watching him closely. 

"What's wrong Lucifer? Her human eyes are brown so what's wrong with her having a blue eye, a change is a change in my opinion, blue eyes, red eyes, why should it matter to you." Lucifer emitted a sense of rage throughout the guild glaring at his daughter he bellowed

"Get rid of that eye right now, the feelings you have for that person, get rid of them or I will destroy every last person here in the guild, I will not have you having ties to this earth, that is what makes you weak." Lucy gulped but concentrated, she concentrated hard but whatever she did her eyes did not change. She shook her head.

"Father, I'm sorry, I just-"

"You insolent brat!" her father raised her hand but Natsu suddenly appeared in front of him, his eyes flaming.

"Listen here sir, Lucy maybe your daughter but she's not going anywhere with you, who cares what Lucy looks like, honestly she's beautiful whatever way she is, now I think you should get out of here before something bad happens to you." Lucifer just stared at Natsu, his eyes showing realization.

"So it's you?" Makarov stood up quickly moving in front of Natsu, putting an arm out in front of him. 

"Listen, we don't want a fight, but I'm sorry but we can't give you Lucy either. She is a part of our guild now and we will protect her no matter what it takes, that Fairy Tail mark that she has, means family, and we don't give up or leave behind family that easily." Lucifer looked around at everyone, making sure he saw all of them before laughing.

"This is what you all think? To think these are the people my daughter chooses to hang out with. You are nowhere near good enough or strong enough to even be in my daughter's presence. Boy, your power is nowhere near the level of mine, the only persons who could even attempt to rival me would be my daughter, and let me tell you, she still will never be on the same level." Natsu glared and his fists lit up.

"Maybe you're right but I can try" Erza nodded and re-equipped into her battle armor.

"Natu's right, Lucy doesn't have to come with you" Lucy looked around at her friend, she felt tears brimming her her eyes.

"Guys!" Lucifer glared at everyone in the guild, shaking his head.

"I guess I'll just have to destroy everyone here then shan't I!" Makarov shook his head standing backward.

"I'm sorry but I can't let you do that" Lucifer glared at Makarov and said

"You have made a grave mistake" he charged at Makarov but was stopped by a force field, Gajeel looked at Lucifer before looking at Makarov.

"Did he do that?"

 Natsu tried running at Lucifer but was thrown back, he rubbed his head and looked and realized Lucy was on the inside of the bubble, she had rushed next to her father, her magic keeping anyone else from entering. Magic none of them had ever seen before

"LUCY" Natsu shouted, he ran up and slammed his hands on the force field. "What the hell are you doing Luce?" Lucy smiled at him.

"This is my family, I'll be the one to deal with it Natsu, I can't let you guys face you no matter how much I know you want to protect me, it's suicide" she turned to her Father, their eyes meeting.

"I'm sorry but I will not go back with you to hell" Lucifer just smiled at Lucy, before tucking her hair behind her ear. 

"Sorry love, but you don't have a choice, you will be coming home." his gaze then darkened standing back. Lucifer then shot a ball of dark light towards Lucy who quickly jumped out of the way, her tail flying behind her, she reached for her dagger and charged, she swiped at his head but he dodged, she jumped in the air and did a flip kicking him in the face making him stumble, Lucy didn't take any moment to hesitate and ran right up and swiped his arms, suddenly Lucy felt herself lift in the air, she looked at saw Lucifer lift his hand and throw her against the wall. She groaned her head hitting the back.

"LUCE!!!!" Natsu screamed, he tried banging against the force field, Lucy slowly got up and chanted a spell

"For the in thy space, be gone" Lucifer roared, glaring at Lucy.

"Lucillia, you can't hide forever" but before he could move any further he disappeared and Lucy collapsed onto the floor panting from the magic she had used, it had taken a lot of power to send him away. Lucy used the last of her power to get rid of the force field and Natsu and everyone came running in just as she collapsed.
