Chapter 20: Classy Pervert

A/N: Hi... I'm not dead. Dont worry. A long chapter to compensate for my hiatus. :)))

Jungkook let out a sigh, his hands folded behind his head and his eyes glued to the ceiling, the ominous looking black color- feeling some what comforting to the raventte.
It had been quite some days since Ailee's body was discovered.
Her eyeless corpse reminded him the pits of hell, except for... Ailee looked so serene lying dead in that perfect white gown.
It was as if, she were sleeping peacefully.
Peacefully.
Jungkook pursed his lips together, his eyes still stuck to the ceiling.
"Ah... if I'd known you were going to die... I'd have asked you to stay for another round of drinks that night..." Jungkook let out another sigh, a somber one but void of any solid emotion.
Jungkook shook his head, knowing all too well there was nothing he could have done.
Those who were meant to die, indefinitely end up dying.
There was no trick up Jungkook's sleeve when it came to death. He cant predict nor forsee.... there was indeed nothing that could have been done to save Ailee.
And Jungkook had already acknowledged this fact that night of the crime scene.
There were some things the Devil couldn't do afterall- no... not couldn't, more like- shouldn't.
Meddling with souls who were about to die, was a messy business afterall...
Sure, he was the Devil- and he had indefinitely meddled with souls a lot of times through his contracts- but that wasn't the current Jungkook anymore.
If anything, Jungkook avoided meddling with souls... or more like.... stopped making contracts that would have the Silver Angels going up and about his ass for his actions, threatening him to be sealed within hell...
Ah... that's indeed bothersome.
Jungkook admitted, letting out a deep hum, his eyes narrowing at the wall.
Right.
Contract.
Swiftly, he jumped to his feet making his way to the safe in his office. Punching in the code, he unlocked the door and carefully put his hands in, his fingertips grazing the cool surface of the glass tube.
He leaned against the all, the glass vial in his hand, as the wooden pick rattled inside it.
A hidden contract.
"Stopped.. huh?" The Devil mumbled to himself.
Jungkook was well aware, he had messed up yet again.
It was only a miracle none of the Silver Angels had shown up enquiring about certain things.
Jungkook let out a small chuckle, pressing his palm to his face, recalling the day the Detective had summoned him.
"What do I do, Detective Kim?" He sighed "I want to reveal my true self and seal the deal... but then I wanna keep teasing you even more..."
"You'll deny it... yeah... you'll call me delusional..." Jungkook laughed, remembering the silly bold replies the Detective had put back.
"I can't wait to see your face, the day you figure it out..." Jungkook's smile gradually disappeared, his fingers clenched around the vial.
He exhaled slowly and put the vial back in the safe.
Until the day you let me call you by your name...
Detective Kim...
You have all the time you need to figure out...
Jungkook smiled, firmly pulling onto the lapels of his coat- an Italian finish.
Raking his hand through his hair and glancing down at his Rolex, he stepped out of his office- ready to head to the precinct.
His lips retained the smile although his eyes glimmered with a subtle wave of uncertainty that made the morals and the instincts of his thoughts clash against each other, deep in his subconscious.
He wasn't sure, what exactly irked his senses.
For once Jungkook really did not know.
Until that day.... or I will reveal it myself.
********
The sun shone brightly, despite the gloomy weather, the skies had put up few hours ago.
The air was cooler and Taehyung was faintly in an ecstatic mood.
On normal occasions, Taehyung absolutely hated grocery shopping-but at the moment, Taehyung was okay with doing the task. Even the weather seemed pleasant enough.
He hummed softly along the path, a bundle of newspapers in his hands- which he voluntarily opted to deliver to the local goods shop near the grocery store, instead of having his old neighbour deliver it himself.
He walked along the sidewalk- strangers passing by him.
The breeze ruffled up his hair slightly, revealing a bit of his forehead.
His gaze averted to a little boy on the path who frolicked around an older woman who seemed to be engrossed in a conversation with a lady. She seemed a tad bit younger- more or less, in her early 20s.
The younger woman, was slim and tall, her skin as fair as snow with dark straight raven hair that reached to the mid of her spine.
However, the first few locks near her face, were dyed electric blue- an odd choice of hair color, but it looked nice on her.
Even her smile seemed beautiful, with the evening rays dancing off of her skin.
Taehyung watched her bid farewell to the older woman and walk off ahead of him
Taehyung sighed, shaking his head a little.
"Hal-ammeoni~" whined lightly, a sweet smiled on his face as he twirled around his grandma, holding her hand, making her sigh.
The raven haired boy giggled- his laugh, angelic despite the mischief.
Taehyung unknowingly smiled looking at the boy, his heart warm and walked past them.
With his focus out of his mindspace, Taehyung ended up colliding into someone- dropping the bundle, resulting for some of the newspapers slip out.
"Ah- I'm sorry!" Taehyung apologised, crouching on the floor to pick up his stuff as help the stranger with his own- but much to his confusion, the stranger stood still, looking down at him.
The stranger's brown eyes were steadily locked with his own raven ones and for a split second, he felt a shiver run down his spine.
Taehyung simply looked up at the man in utter confusion who then proceeded to crouch on the ground and help him with the task.
Keeping his thoughts to himself, Taehyung quickly stacked the newspapers and looked back at the dark brown haired male, who ever so gracefully was looking at him.
Taehyung gulped.
What in the fucks world-
"Ah Ahjussi! Take this"
Taehyung mentally thanked for the save, looking at the boy who had approached him with a paper in his hand.
Taehyung smiled at the boy, as he took the sheet and put it back into his file.
"Thanks kid!" Taehyung spoke up, ruffling the boy's hair as he stood from the floor.
The boy's eyes gleamed, as he let out a cheerful grin- few teeth missing on the lower set of his jaw.
"Mmhm! Your welcome Ahjussi!" The boy replied, his little hands clenched into fists as he did so.
Giggling, he quickly went back to his grandma who was patiently waiting for him and the two walked off along their way.
Taehyung hummed softly, turning his attention back to the stranger with brown eyes.
The taller male bowed a little "I'm sorry, I should have seen where I was walking"
Taehyung blinked.
Oh... so he can talk.
Taehyung smiled awkwardly "ah- its okay."
Taehyung shifted uneasily "uh- have we... have we met before?"
"Oh? Oh- no... its just that you look a bit familiar." The stranger replied, a small smile on his lips. His jawline was strong and his shoulders broad. His arms seemed strong too- maybe the guy worked out a lot at the gym, Taehyung concluded.
It was only then had he realised, the street seemed a little bit deserted than it was before.
Taehyung pulled out another awkward smile, wanting to leave already.
"Oh- uh I don't think we have-" Taehyung cleared his throat "anyway- uh... I have to go-" Taehyung spoke up, backing away from the odd brown eyed stranger who bowed his head slightly.
Taehyung grimaced inwardly, keeping his head low.
Even with his back faced, Taehyung could still feel the stranger's eyes on the back of his head.
Sure, there were weird people all around the world- but Taehyung admitted, that that interaction was the most awkward one he had so far.
If anything, the stranger himself was weird.
The odd knowing gaze, as if he was trying to peep into one's soul, hoping to pick at their thoughts.... Taehyung shuddered slightly.
The man reminded him of Jungkook for the split second.
Unlike for the stranger, Taehyung trusted Jungkook and sure, he had grown comfortable in the raventte's presence, but Jungkook's antics weren't lost on Taehyung.
Jungkook was one hell of an odd guy and it still puzzled Taehyung.
But at the end of the day... he was same as many other people- strange.
Jungkook was definitely strange.
Taehyung rolled his eyes, irritated that he was thinking of some delusional idiot again and looked up, only for his emotionless face to morph into a solid-frowning one.
Literally.
Speak of the Devil and he shall appear.
"Detective Kim!" Jungkook's smile invaded his sight of vision and Taehyung sighed tiredly.
"Detec... tive Kim."
Taehyung noticed Jungkook pausing mid-sentence, his eyes trained somewhere behind him.
The air suddenly felt chilly- as if something heavy was dropping down.
Taehyung shifted uneasily on his feat, moving his eyes from Jungkook to the stranger who he had encountered few minutes ago.
The strange wore a grim expression, his stance defensive- more or less, with his chest puffed up and chin high, as if he were looking down on the rest of the world.
There was something about him that threw Taehyung's rationality off- something threatening... menacing even.
Confusion clouded all over Taehyung's face as a small part within him began crumbling with the intensity of the stranger's gaze and the strangeness in the air.
Who in the hell was the man?
Subconsciously wanting to retreat, Taehyung took a step back- his back colliding with a hard chest, startling Taehyung all over.
A warm hand wrapped over his elbow, snaking behind the length of his back.
On any other day, Taehyung would have retaliated- throwing a mean punch at Jungkook's face for touching him so casually and out of the blue- but this time, he let it slide.
Oddly enough, Taehyung felt the tension in his bones reduce and his heartbeat return to it normal pace.
"Ah! It's been long isn't it?" Jungkook's cheerful voice boomed, completely breaking the tension in air, slowly letting his hold off of Taehyung.
"Jungkook." The stranger deadpanned.
"Jinhwa" Jungkook chided giving his signature smirk.
"Sight seeing hm?" The raventte asked playfully, cocking his head to the side.
Taehyung watched the stranger- whose name seemed to be Jinhwa, curl his fingers into a fist- the crackle of his bones evident.
Jinhwa smiled back- a clear fake smile that more or less matched Jungkook's.
"I guess you could say so" Jinhwa replied, his tone mocking.
"Ah! Seoul's a nice place... though I didn't think I'd run into you- well... not this soon at least." Jungkook shrugged, a cocky grin on his lips.
"This soon?" Jinhwa quirked up, gritting his teeth.
"Well now that you know, guess I could say- this late." Jungkook retorted, chuckling while the other male fumed. "Seems like you are slacking off hm?"
Taehyung pursed his lips shut.
Seriously. What was happening?
Does Jungkook know him?
"Shut your mouth." Jinhwa hissed, taking a step ahead while Jungkook laughed, throwing his head back.
Taehyung shifted uneasily- feeling like a sore thumb sticking out.
"Uh- Jungkook-" Taehyung whispered, tugging onto the edge of Jungkook's coat.
The raventte, turned to him and Taehyung let out a soft sigh, mentally wanting to leave already.
"It seems like you both know each other, uh.. I- I'm gonna go so you both can catch up-"
"Haha that's not required, you can stay here. I dont intend spending the rest of my day looking at his kind of people" Jungkook chuckled, waving his hand in a dismissively.
"You jerk- who do you think you are talking to?!" Jinhwa stomped ahead, his eyes slightly flickering golden and Jungkook swiftly grabbed onto Taehyung's wrist, pulling him behind his back.
With, Taehyung safe and away from his own and Jinhwa's face, Jungkook lowered a bit, a more threatening smirk on his lips.
"Who do you think you are talking to?" Jungkook repeated, his own eyes flickering red specks within his iris.
Jinhwa immediately halted, his hands still balled into fists on his sides.
"Let's not be hasty... hm?" Jungkook straightened up, his eyes returning to normal and his lips curved into a smile.
However, Jungkook's smile faded too soon when he heard another voice.
"Jungkook."
Taehyung heard a heavy sigh leave Jungkook's mouth and his back slouch over.
"Great. Why not bring the whole band now?" Jungkook grumbled, which Taehyung indefinitely heard.
It sure as hell is said, 'Sky is the limit' but... oh well, there seemed to be no limit for Taehyung's confusion.
Who is Jinhwa?
Why the hell Jungkook pulled him behind his back?
And who the hell was the third party that just walked in?
Much to Taehyung's relief, Jungkook stepped aside, letting go of his wrist with an audibly heavy sigh.
Taehyung noticed another man he had never seen, standing a little away from Jinhwa.
The new guy, had the same brown hair and brown eyes and was fairly taller than all of them. His clothes certainly seemed odd- something that Taehyung would wear indoors. He too seemed to have a strong built like Jinhwa, but unlike Jinhwa, this guy seemed to have a more gentler aura around him.
"Ah- dont tell me. I know okay? I know. We can talk later." Jungkook cut in, clenching his eyes shut even before the other guy could say anything.
"Jungkook-" the taller man continued, sighing exasperatedly.
"Why are you giving me that look? Look it was an emergency. Detective Kim here is my colleague!" Jungkook shot back with desperation filled in his tone.
"Wait what?" Taehyung interjected, becoming even more confused as to why he was included in the ordeal.
The taller man sighed, shaking his head in disappointment.
Jungkook paused, pursing his lips shut, mentally cursing out at himself for speaking out loud.
"What I mean is..." Jungkook laughed nervously, pushing Taehyung ahead "Detective Kim here... is my colleague- um... say Hi?"
An awkward silence struck the air whilst Taehyung wished the ground would open and swallow him away.
"Jungkook?" Taehyung whispered, desperately wanting to leave.
The taller man, shook his head in disappointment stepping forward.
"I'm Namjoon. Nice to meet you Detective Kim." The male spoke, his voice clear and firm.
Taehyung bowed a little, assuming the other was older to him.
"Well then- Jungkook, we'll talk later and Jinhwa... go home, let me deal with this." Namjoon instructed, making Jungkook groan while Jinhwa continued shooting daggers at Jungkook.
"Jinhwa?" Namjoon questioned, waiting for confirmation.
"Fine! But you better deal with this!" Jinhwa retorted, turning on his heels and walking away.
"And Jungkook-"
"Ahhhh I know. I got it. You can leave now. Please leave. Begone." Jungkook groaned, clapping his palms together.
Namjoon let out another sigh, tired with Jungkook's antics making Taehyung feel sorry for the man, for he himself knew what a pain in the neck Jungkook was.
Taehyung pursed his lips together, when his eyes met with that of Namjoon's.
"Please excuse me.." Namjoon spoke up his tone formal.
Taehyung bowed his head again, in a form of respect and watched the male leave.
"Detective Kim! Do you wanna go grab some Dinner? Hm? Let's get dinner okay." Jungkook beamed, his tone cheery again, snapping Taehyung out of the odd trance.
"Oh? What- wait now?-" Taehyung couldnt even complete his sentence, when Jungkook snatched away one of the bundles from his hands and held his wrist again, sprinting down the street.
Taehyung panted hard, his confusion morphing into annoyance and the need to smack Jungkook into the ground growing stronger.
His face snapped upto Jungkook's head, wanting to hurl the newspaper bundle on him, however his evil plan forced to a halt when he noticed Jungkook's raven hair flop from behind-
Jungkook was like a bunny-
Taehyung snorted, a small chuckle leaving his throat from the silly conclusion that his mind made.
It felt like some cinematic drama, with the sunset in the background and the two running off somewhere-
He looked down at Jungkook's hand that was locked around his wrist.
Its warm.
So much for a leisure walk-
He can smack Jungkook later.
********
Taehyung peeled open the plastic lid, steam arising from the cup.
He stirred his chopsticks, mixing the ramen for all of its contents to be mixed thoroughly.
Taehyung blowed a little on his chopstick, before plopping the noodles into his mouth- the taste exploding in his mouth.
He continued eating in silence, the spicy noodles making him sweat a little and reddening his face by a bit.
Finally, acknowledging the obvious stare, Taehyung felt his eyebrow twitch with irritable.
"What?! Are you gonna eat or continue staring at me?!" Taehyung barked, annoyed.
"I'm admiring the scenery Detective Kim... it is an important task for me you see-" Jungkook replied with a smug grin.
Taehyung clicked his tongue in annoyance, forcing his attention to food.
"Has anybody told you, that your lips swell when you eat spicy ramen?" Jungkook declared, unashamedly with his chin propped on his hand.
Taehyung narrowed his eyes and pursed his lips shut.
"Jungkook... let me eat in peace. I beg of you-" Taehyung sighed out.
"Ah that's good, it adds more to my imagination" Jungkook leaned on the table, the devilish smirk evident on his lips as his eyes gleamed with mischief.
Taehyung wasn't even slightly surprised.
Jungkook's obscene comments no longer held the effect it once used to.
Infact, Taehyung had decided not to waste his energy on trying to argue with the male.
Silence indeed was a bliss sometimes, eventhough it felt like thirteen knives sticking up your ass.
"You are disgusting." Taehyung bluntly replied.
"No Detective Kim- I am a man of culture" the raventte retorted, dusting his shoulder smugly.
Taehyung simply shook his head in disappointment, sighing out his frustration and continued eating in peace before a question struck up in his head.
"Ah- Jungkook," Taehyung called out, the raventte immediately diverting his attention to him.
"This evening- who were those guys?" Taehyung asked, keeping his chopsticks aside.
"Ah.. them?" Jungkook paused, seeming to contemplate within his mind. "But wait- did they tell you anything? Ask anything?"
"Uh.. no. I bumped into Jin- Jinhwa was it? Yeah.. I bumped into him and he said that I looked familiar... that's it." Taehyung replied straight forward
"Ah... I see" Jungkook let out a sigh, placing his chopsticks aside.
"So? Who are they?" Taehyung enquired, folding his fingers on the table.
"Oh- Namjoon and Jinhwa you mean?" Jungkook paused and Taehyung hummed in response.
"They are my brothers."
Taehyung's eyes widened with disbelief "what?!"
"I mean- Jinhwa's adopted. I don't claim his annoying ass." Jungkook snorted, shrugging a little.
"Wait. Wait. Wait." Taehyung shut his eyes, taking a deep breath and then opening his eyes again.
"Those guys were your brothers?!"
"Uh.. yeah- I mean... it's not a big deal- I've got Sisters too-" Jungkook mumbled, chuckling nervously.
"You- You've got sisters too? I- I just.. wow. I had no idea." Taehyung admitted, leaning back on his chair.
"Yeahhhh... I mean- I'm not very close to all of them.... I'm just close to Namjoon." Jungkook replied, rubbing his nape.
"Wow. I thought you were the only kid in your family- I mean.. you sorta give that vibe- you know... like- like a rich smug selfish brat- yeah... that" Taehyung mumbled to himself, clearly dazed.
"I'm right here you know?" Jungkook deadpanned.
"Argh- you cant blame me- I mean... your brothers looked... very different afterall- I mean, yeah they have the same hair and all... but when I look at you... its just-" Taehyung paused, running out of words.
"They seem more mature?" Jungkook cut in, a smug grin on his lips.
"I guess?" Taehyung shrugged, not wanting to be involved into any family feud with the wrong choice of words.
"I guess you can say that about Namjoon. Not Jinhwa though- Jinhwa is annoying. Plain annoying. He doesn't know when to Shutup." Jungkook groaned.
"You should have told me they were your brothers, I thought it was another one of your bodyguards picking a fight with you" Taehyung sighed shaking his head dismissively.
"Oh? Ah- that night when you met Jimin? That was epic. I still remember those events everyday. Remember when you said let go of my Partner!!!" Jungkook chuckled "it brings tears to my eyes"
Taehyung clicked his tongue looking way, embarrassment rushing to his face.
"I still cant believe they were your brothers... adopted or not-" Taehyung said, running his hand through his hair.
"I know it's hard to believe... afterall my back does hurt carrying all the good genes among my siblings" Jungkook replied, smirking widely as his eyes glimmered.
Taehyung scoffed with disbelief "you are so full of yourself."
"Its called self confidence, Detective Kim." Jungkook chuckled "I'm so full of self confidence"
"There is no cure for you" Taehyung snorted, chuckling along.
Jungkook smiled watching the Detective, feeling a bit at ease.
Like a serene flow of a river, Jungkook felt his tensions resolve.
Detective Kim had a nice smile-
Jungkook admitted.
"Detective Kim- I may sound like that one degenerate pervert catcalling women in the street- but really- Detective Kim... you sure do look nice when you smile."
Taehyung looked up, tensing a little on the sudden compliment making him flustered all over.
"W-what? You idiot. I'm not interested in you." Taehyung retorted, feeling his heartbeat escalate a little.
"Aw are you Blushing Detective Kim?" Jungkook cooed, in a teasing tone.
"Its the noodles. Spicy noodles. Spicy noodles make my face red. Shutup." Taehyung replied almost immediately, wanting to die already from getting flustered over a simple compliment from a Crackhead.
"And it's not 'may sound'... you are one degenerate pervert." Taehyung scoffed, standing up from his seat.
"I'm not a degenerate." Jungkook replied, following suit.
"So you do agree you are a pervert?" Taehyung questioned, delirious
Jungkook smiled, catching upto the Detective and aalking alongside him.
"Yes." Jungkook replied, unashamed with a smug grin as he sent a wink down at Taehyung.
"But I've got class."
*********
Taehyung walked on the sidewalk, his hands full of grocery bags with almost unnecessary stuff that Jungkook had dropped into the cart.
Taehyung had no choice but to let the male tag along and blow a hole into his bank account.
He scoffed, mentally cursing out at the man.
I mean, if he was the one to shop recklessly, the least he could have done is paid for the stuff- but no, Taehyung ended up suffering all alone because his millionaire colleague apparently didnt bring his wallet along.
Classic.
Taehyung sighed, shaking his thoughts away.
Atleast Jungkook took liberty in dropping him back to his neighbourhood-
Yeah... maybe he's not that insane.
Maybe.
Just... maybe.
Taehyung hummed softly noticing a motorbike zip by and halt a little ahead of him.
The motorbike seemed like one of those used at sport races making Taehyung wonder even more what even in the world was a bike like that, doing in his neighbourhood.
Taehyung slowly approached the bike from behind noticing- its color as dark as night, even the rider wore a jet black leather jacket and a black helmet.
Taehyung ignored the biker and passed by him, minding his own business only to halt when he heard a voice that annoyed him.
"Yo! Detective Goody two shoes with that lameass face- yeah you. Turn around. I'm talking to you."
Taehyung rolled his eyes.
When he thought he could head home peacefully-
The heck with peace-
"What do you want?" Taehyung asked, uninterested turning to face the pink haired male who wore a smug expression.
"Jungkook was with you right? Where is he?" Jimin asked, raising his chin.
"He left." Taehyung deadpanned "besides, arent you his bodyguard or something like that? Shouldn't you know?"
"Why you little-"
Taehyung turned away, not wanting to deal with his nonsense anymore.
"Hey- Detective Stuck up- dont you dare ignore me when I'm talking- Hey! Hey! Stop right there!"
Taehyung kept walking ahead, hearing the motorbike rev up and with a blink of an eye, Jimin had already blocked his path.
"Do you want the traffic police fine you that bad?" Taehyung deadpanned, unamused.
"Nobody ignores me when I talk" the pink haired male retorted.
"Jungkook does." Taehyung replied smugly, noticing Jimin ball up his fists.
"That's because Jungkook is Jungkook. You are nobody to me." Jimin hissed.
Taehyung shrugged, walking around Jimin "well... all the more reason why I don't want to waste my time on you."
"You-" Jimin fumed on his back "stop right there- I have something to ask you since you are a bastard with emotions."
Taehyung paused, slightly interested with the odd insult.
"Oh?" Taehyung turned to face the man, "bastard with emotions huh?"
Taehyung smiled smugly "is Jungkook the bastard with no emotions then?"
Jimin grit his teeth and Taehyung chuckled victoriously knowing he striked the right spot.
"Go on... ask me, I dont have all night to just stand here and watch you lazer glare me" Taehyung provoked the pink haired male.
"Dont you dare make fun of this- this is important and I want to know because it has been bothering me for a long time. But Jungkook had no idea when i asked him because he has no brain-"
"That I agree" Taehyung interjected.
"- so I want to ask you because... because Jungkook says.. you are smart and all. So you better give me a proper answer!" Jimin pursed his lips, eyes flaring with anger and determination at the same time.
Taehyung hummed "okay... go on. I'm listening."
"Um.. what- what does it mean... if a stranger breaks down... into tears infront of you?" Jimin mumbled, his eyes lowered and tone softer than usual.
"What?" Taehyung asked, the odd question throwing him off.
"What does it mean if a complete stranger starts crying infront of you and runs away and then avoids you for life??!!" Jimin yelled, annoyed.
"Whoa Whoa wait. A stranger?" Taehyung enquired and Jimin hummed along.
"It probably means nothing-"
"No!" Jimin snapped but then lowered his eyes again "no... but what if that person keeps avoiding you. I mean- if you meet that person again, and that person runs away... what.. what does it mean?"
Taehyung shifted his weight to his other foot, thinking hard.
"Well... a stranger... hm" Taehyung pursed his lips together "Maybe they witnessed you do something.... or did you perhaps say or do anything to them?"
Jimin looked up, a troubled expression on his face as he awkwardly rubbed his nape.
"Well.. I.. I did accidentally elbow him in the face-" Jimin looked up, biting his lower lip.
Taehyung narrowed his eyes at the male.
"You accidentally elbowed the guy in his face with that elephant strength of yours, probably broke his bone or two and now you're wondering why he runs off everytime you see him? Are you really that dense?" Taehyung questioned, not knowing what else to say.
"I didnt elbow him that hard-" Jimin retorted.
"For someone who was almost strangled to death by your hands, I respectfully oppose." Taehyung scoffed
"Tch whatever.." Jimin grumbled looking away.
Taehyung sighed, pressing the bridge of his nose "well.. maybe you can apologise and resolve the matter. He's probably still scared, I mean- you do look like somebody who has affiliations with a gang or something."
Jimin grumbled incoherently under his breath.
"Well then that's that- I gotta head home now" Taehyung exhaled.
"I sure as hell dislike you, but seeing you fret over a complete stranger, I guess you are not that much of a bad apple." Taehyung commented and Jimin immidately looked up, his eyes glimmering a little.
"A little misunderstood I guess... anger issues definitely.... but you seem like a good guy, so I hope you can cooperate with me..." Taehyung said with a silence firm tone.
Jimin scoffed, putting his helmet on.
"Ah- I still hate you Detective Goody two shoes." Jimin chided, his eyes crinkling a little- making it easy to figure out that he was smirking underneath the helmet.
Taehyung returned the smirk, watching the pink haired male flip his key.
"I guess we could be good friends" Taehyung replied.
Jimin paused, his eyes slightly widening as he slowly turned to face the Detective.
Taehyung leisurely shrugged.
"We'll see" Jimin replied void of any of his usual malice, while his eyes glimmered in a less-threatening way.
Taehyung watched the pink haired male rev off and simply chuckled to himself.
We'll see... huh?
We'll see.
