Chapter 6: The Cult

Things have been normal once again since Lucifer had tried to kill Maou and Emilia, but there were things that changed.

Y/n: You can stop staring at me Chiho chan...

Chiho: S-Sorry!!

Chiho apologizes and looks at Y/n now and then.

Y/n sighs as called out to her.

Y/n: Chiho chan-

Chiho: Yes!

Y/n: If you're not going to listen to me then...I'll have to rip your soul out your body...

Chiho's face suddenly turned pale

Y/n: Of course that's only a joke...

Chiho: D-Don't scare me like that.

Y/n looked at his watch as he took off his apron.

Y/n: My shift here is finished. But I must say Chiho chan. You taking this demon and angel stuff is really impressive.

Chiho: W-Well I try my best.

Y/n: Then you should try your best too when you working.

Chiho: I do my best when I'm working too!

Y/n: I'm only joking...

Chiho: Can you please not tease me?

Y/n: How can I not? You're just the cutest thing ever~

Y/n said as he noticed that Chiho's face was turning red as a tomato.

Y/n: I'll take my leave then...

Y/n walked away as Chiho pouted and just by the staff room he was stopped by Kisaki.

Y/n: Manager you need something?

Kisaki: You can drop the Manager already...

Y/n: Yeah...

There was an awkward silence between the two as Y/n decided to break it.

Y/n: Why are you standing by the door? You looking for someone?

Kisaki: I was just wondering...How is it at your new apartment?

Y/n: Oh that? It's going well. I live in the same resident as Maou-

Kisaki: Yeah I know that...

Y/n smiled as he realized that Kisaki had said something strange.

Y/n: Wait, you knew?

Y/n noticed that Kisaki was now stiff in stance.

Kisaki: Y-Yeah, Maou told me...

Y/n: Oh, for a second there I thought...

Kisaki: I'll visit your place when I have free time. I'm just checking how you managing by yourself.

Y/n: I've managed quite nicely since you dumped me...

Kisaki: (whisper) Don't bring that up at work!!!

Y/n: Don't worry about it. I always make sure to see if anyone is nearby before I talk about-

Maou: Kisaki-san, someone wants to see you? He says he's an old acquaintance of you...

Kisaki: Maou-kun, I'll be right there...

Timeskip

Y/n's shift ended earlier than he expected due to him overworking himself and went home

Y/n: Man, I'm beat-

Lucifer: Ah!

Y/n looked up from the stairs as he saw Lucifer holding a laptop on his hand and his expression quickly changed.

Y/n: What are you up to?

Lucifer: Nothing much, I was just looking for online games to play, Hey what's up with that bump on your forehead?

Y/n: Huh?

Y/n quickly touched his head as he felt two bumps on his forehead and checked his teeth with had sharpen.

Y/n: No, this can't...!

Y/n took off his shirt as he turned around, his back facing Lucifer.

Y/n: Is there black markings on my back?

Lucifer: Woah, you have lot's of tattoos on your back.

Y/n put his shirt back on as he was sweating.

Y/n: Why here on Earth of all places...

Lucifer: Hey what's wrong? You look a little pale-

Y/n: Hey! I need your help!

Lucifer: What for?

Y/n: I want you to track down devil worshipers in the city!

Lucifer: Well isn't that a coincidence. I've just seen online that there is school who had a Forbidden Classroom. A cult may be behind it.

Y/n: I see, then we should-

Alciel: What are you two doing? And what's up with that bumps on your head?

Alciel was standing behind Y/n with a mail in his hand.

Y/n: A crisis has just appeared.

Alciel: Talk about it inside. It's pretty hot.

Timeskip

Alciel: So what's the issue you want to talk about?

Y/n: The city is in danger...

Alciel had a shocked expression as Lucifer was minding his business and staring at the mail.

Lucifer: What is this?

Alciel: What do you mean?

Y/n: There's a cult that's worshipping-

Y/n was cut off as he heard screaming coming from Lucifer.

Lucifer: AHHHHHH!!!!!!!

Lucifer fell to the ground as a picture that was inside a mail fell to the ground.

Alciel: What's wrong-

When Alciel went to check up on Lucifer he accidentally locked eyes with the photo.

Alciel: T-This is...!

Alciel quickly made his way to the small bathroom to throw up in the toilet.

Y/n picked up the photo and examined it.

Y/n: The landlord sure knows when to pose...

Lucifer: Y-You...h-how are you n-not affected by the photo?

Y/n: Come on guys. You've never saw a naked women before?

Lucifer: You have a strong will...

Lucifer's head slammed to the ground as the door opened.

Maou: W-What's going on here? What's that bump on your forehead?

Maou rushed towards Lucifer as Y/n quickly his the photo away from Maou.

Y/n: It's just a mental thing...

Maou: Really? Then Alciel have you found any information related to magic?

Alciel came out of the bathroom looking a bit sick

Alciel: Yes, but...It's really faraway. A magic hotspot.

Maou: How faraway are we talking about.

Alciel: Many working hours.

Maou: Seriously?

Y/n: Are you guys planning on replenishing your magic?

Maou: Yeah, just in case some stuff like what Lucifer pulled off ever happens again.

Lucifer: O-Oh yeah, there's something I want you to see. It's a school that has a forbidden classroom. This seems to link up with Y/n's situation.

Maou: Y/n's situation? Are you 2e looking to replenish your magic?

Y/n: No. I'm looking for cult that is worshipping a certain demon.

Maou: Oh really?

Lucifer: It is highly likely that the cult are demons using magic to perform rituals.

Maou: Me and Alciel is going to check it out, are you gonna come with?

Y/n: No, it's better if I keep my distance from the cult. If you manage to fine them then just scare the crap out of them so that they don't perform rituals...
