Mariangela, weird name right? That's what I've thought my whole life too. It stands for 'the rebel angel'. How do I know this? Well, google. Don't lie to yourself and say you haven't googled what your name means before.

Anyways, my family and classmates call me Angel for short, I forbid them from calling me Maria. It sounds old and boring. No offense to anyone named Maria, it's just not my style.

I prefer Angel, because it's the exact opposite of my nature if I do say so myself. I have devilish qualities, and I'm pretty hard to get along with. I'm probably the bitchiest person at school and everyone knows it. I have no friends and I'm a loner. I didn't want anyone to get close to me because I had something to protect. My dignity. And once you let someone in, it can easily be taken away.

I was perfectly fine living in my own bubble, undisturbed.
