Chapter one

Sylvia focused her power, shaping and creating the body. That would be the easy part, the hard part would be the individual and free thoughts.

She was in her area, one she designed to suit her. She changed it often, and it was always shifting to suit her mood and purpose. Currently, it was all empty, except for something that resembled a seventeen year old demoness.  So far, her hair was curly, and a light blue color.  Her eyes were a light yellow, and very round.  The girl was thin, and wore a long, yellow dress that matched her eyes.  Of course, she had a whole other wardrobe, full of lots of different kinds of clothes, if she wanted anything different.

She had yellow horns, wings with a yellow outside and a blue inside, and a thin, yellow tail with a blue, feathery tip.  She'd have sharp teeth, like Teresa, but be less curvy, like Sylvia.

The girl would be named Iris, and she'd be Sylvia and Teresa's friend. She would be amazing, and she'd have her own area, which was already made. Everything would be even more fun, and they'd all get along and live happily ever after, the end.

Of course, Teresa was amazing company, but they already knew each other so well, and they had done everything together, well, everything that Sylvia had made up, which was a lot. Iris would have some personality traits that wouldn't be known by Sylvia, sort of random.  A roll of the dice, like Teresa would say.  Not that she said anything, she didn't know yet about Iris.  Sylvia wasn't sure if she'd approve yet.

Sylvia stepped back and stretched her golden wings.  Her orange, curly hair caught slight in the breeze, and Sylvia sighed, closing her golden orange eyes.  She'd been working for the last three days on Iris.  She'd never made another living, thinking, breathing being before.  What would happen if she made a mistake?  Most things she could just imagine, and they'd appear, but more complex things were different.  Thought had to be put into them.

Sylvia sent one last surge of magic at Iris, to put the finishing touches on her. At last, her physical body was complete. Now, for the individual thoughts. Sylvia scrunched up her eyes, and wrinkled her nose, all in concentration. She puffed out her cheeks, and clenched her fists, sending her magic at Iris.

Hello. Who are you?

Sylvia opened her eyes, looking at Iris. She hadn't heard coming from anywhere, except her mind. Yet, Iris was looking at her, and seemed to have gotten slightly closer. "Hello, Iris? I'm Sylvia!"

Iris's eyes widened slightly. This time she spoke the words. "How do you know my name?"

Sylvia couldn't help but giggle. "I just created you. We're gonna be the best of friends."
