Song: Sekai No Owari- "Anti-Hero"

"Kyūseishu" her voice low as she was on her knees, the heat radiating from all around, a blaze. A fire everywhere there was flames. The blade, no....her own sword only mere centimeters from her heart, thrusted into her by the very gem she loved. "My name....you've always wondered what my name was...." k held her head high to look at the gem before her. "It's....Kyūseishu.." she let out a chuckle followed by a few coughs of blood. "It means savior........I....always thought.....it was stupid....having a name like that" tears rolled down her cheeks and fell into the tainted red sand. "Who was I.....ever going to save" she was slowly losing sight as the color in her eyes faded. Her eyes widen "I.....never thought...no...I wanted to fix everything..to atone for my crimes.." she inched her head to look at everything. "I wish......I could have stayed a bit...longer...tsk, not ever-everyone have future........vision..,,I would have liked......to see the future" k let out a breath she soon regretted as she winched and coughed at the pain. She laughed afterwards followed by the sound of her smacking. "A shame....,if I die...at least.....I have no regrets" She was in no hurry to greet death, she wanted to carry out her conversation if only for a few extra moments. Could it really be called a conversation garnet wasn't even talking back, she just stood there over K her hand still wrapped around the handle of the sword incased deep in her chest. But those words did make garnet realize as she widened her eyes "you don't have any regrets" she asked "you caused all of this and you have no regrets!" She said a bit frustrated more then anger. K shook her head slowly followed by a smile "I fixed it....didn't I? I restored peace......I...saved so many lives...even at the cost of my own...." k managed through jagged movements to reach her hand up placing it gentle on garnets shoulder. "....despite the odds...I'm satisfied...everyone can see....another day..." she chuckled a bit so close to deaths side, "it's unfair really....but....I have..,no regrets nonetheless" k put her hand down and fell on her back leaving garnet to hold the sword in her hand..............K's words as insignificant as they may have been touched garnets heart, making her feel the guilt of her actions...

Steven amethyst and Pearl ran, but they were to late seeing k's body there "n-no, garnet...what happened" Steven asked as garnet was holding k's body up. "I-it was white diamond. She moved so quick, I couldn't have predicted that this would happen". She said softly, in remorse

-Rewind Time. 7:54 pm-

.......White diamond ran at them taking this as her chance "I'll shatter you and that damn Quartz" she screamed summoning a sword, blood slashed across the sand as Steven was shoved across the sand, k grabbing the blade with her hand still the momentum was vast and she was still impaled in the shoulder.  The sword thrusted so deep into her shoulder that it prevented k from sliding back to the ground. White diamond greeted her teeth unable to redraw her sword. She grabbed white diamonds uniform. Blood smeared across it as k clenched her teeth. Her grip was unbreakable as her body heated. Flames erupted surrounding both of them. A scream of pain went off followed by a poof. Blue diamonds underlings came whisking her away. She had been watching fearing or well knowing that the end was near. "This will not be the end" her voice called as she took the bubbles diamond to the ship. The doors closed slowly as everyone watched. "I-its over" pearl said as the gems erupted in cheer. "Wa-Wait where's K" Steven said looking around.....

-Fast Forward, 8:54-

Lapis flew up controlling a bit of the earths ocean, she put out most the fires that surrounded. She flew down as the others gathered around k. Garnet held her.  There was silence as Steven came over. He took her body into his arms. Despite the fact that k's eyes were open, she had long been dead. He closed her eyes as he cried "garnet do something" he said the tears hitting her cheek as garnet just looked. He clenched his teeth taking her. He ran into the house, he warped to roses fountain.

Placing her in the fountain, he waited. This wasn't that kinda of fairy tail, where the power of friendship would save her. She was already dead after all. There was no movement. She floated as Steven observed her body. It brought him physical and mental pain to see his friend dead. The warp went off as pearl, Connie, amethyst and garnet stepped off "Steven..." Connie said unsure of her next words. They walked forwards as pearl sat on the ledge. Tears forming. 

Pearl Pov

Seeing her body like that. The burns, the slashes, the stab wounds, the bruises...she looked so fatigued. Her hair was faded. When I recall the color in her eyes...they were faded as well. We doubted her even though she gave her life to save us. It really was...another rose case all over again. "Garnet, you're not going to like what I have to say...but you probably already knew it would happen" I said softly. Garnet removed her shades, she had such a exhausted look as well. "She reminds me of Rose, she in a way, was so much like rose...that's why....for the longest..." I said biting my lip as I bent down "for the longest of times...I've loved her" I spoke choking through my tears as I kissed her lips softly, as if it were to awake her from her slumber.  No one said anything but I saw amethyst clench her fist...

Amethyst Pov

As I watched her lean down and kiss her. Even after all of this...she still compared her to rose...she still loved her..it was so painful..just being there, just watching her. It was like breathing the fire that killed her in the first place. Driving the knife ripping me further and further apart. I couldn't help it. "You're crying" Connie said as my eyes widened a bit. I whipped my tears "...Its selfish....but I'm glad she's dead" I said a bit bitter as pearl and the others looked at me. "W-why would you say that" pearl said a shocked expression as I clenched my teeth. "Maybe now you'll use me! Maybe you'll love me now...if I make myself good enough, you'll pay attention to me.. you'll compare me to rose right!" I yelled as pearl gasped a bit hurt by my words. "That seems to be the only way right, you attach yourself to people that remind you of rose and you fall in love with them, you know that you'll never be with them, but you do it anyways...so why! Why am I not good enough for you! Is it because I don't remind you of rose. Is that it" I chocked out, I fought my tears back more angry as pearl just sat there a sorta scared expression as everyone else looked away. "You don't get it" I pushed her off the ledge "I love you!" I screamed at her.

Garnet's Pov

I watched as Pearl kissed K, jealousy, anger, and guilt all washing over me, I felt like I should have told them what i did. Was it the best time. Before I could even think to speak, amethyst spoke. And before I could even grasp the control of reality amethyst was screaming how she loved pearl to the top of her lungs. She was so hurt. No...she is...she's still hurting. Deep inside.  As I look at these people I've known half my life, I look down to my hands and I think. 'We'll surely be corrupted at this rate' "amethyst, pearl...you're hurting, I'm hurting to" I spiked as pearl got up "oh no" pearl said tempered as I looked at her. "Don't go trying to act like you're a leader now" amethyst growled clenching her teeth as she shoved me. I was speechless, they weren't wrong, i hadn't acted like a leader, I've been the complete opposite and I had no right amount any of them to stand here and try to take over now. I feel against the ledge of the fountain. "Guys stop it!" Steven yelled "is this really the time" Connie added as amethyst summoned her whip "it was going to happen eventually " amethyst said as pearl jumped in the way "amethyst enough" she scolded as amethyst pushed her aside "don't go telling me enough, don't tell me anything, I don't want to here anything you have to say" she yelled "you were suppose to be a leader, and you let all of this happen. This is your fault" she said placing the blame game on me, it pissed me off as I summoned my gauntlets "don't go pinning this on me, like this is just all my fault..." I said punching her as she slide back. "It might as well be, this would have never happened if you would have just kept your emotions to yourself." She said her whips tackling around "noooo you had to go and marry her" she said as pearl got up, she summoned her spear. "Amethyst enough" she said as amethyst whisked her other whip tackling pearl as she couldn't move. Steven held Connie, he dared not get involved with this. He sighed as he looked over k's body floating in the water. "You just weren't satisfied" she screamed as I grabbed the whip sending a spark of electricity up it. She whipped it sending it back as I fell my gauntlet slipping into the fountains water. An electric current sparking as the water made a static sound. "GARNET" Steven yelled as they all stopped they ran to the fountain, K's body seized under the current. I was to afraid to move. She was shocked into fear. After a while it stoped.

No one dared looked at k's body, but perhaps they should have... her hair that was Snow White had returned to its normal crimson red, her 4th degree burns healing almost completely leaving only scars, her stab wounds and slashes closing healing, her broken bones reconnecting and healing as she slowly began to breath.

*ba-dump* *pulsate*

K slowly opened her eyes, even the color in her eyes that were faded had returned slowly to there vibrance. She moved only slight but it was enough to make them look. Their eyes widened "k-K!" Connie said covering her mouth with her hands. She leaned forward placing a hand on the ledge to steady herself. She opened her mouth but no words came out... she looked down as she looked at us...and...she smiled... it was a smile that they hadn't seen in years. "U-um, w-who are you....where am I" she asked and only one conclusion could be reached....k had lost her memory.....

Pearl helped her out of the fountain, Connie covered her with a towel and they all warped back to the temple. Steven and garnet explained who they were and what happened up until the day k was captured. K nodded understanding some parts. Amethyst told her how things weren't working out, and she divorced garnet, garnet didn't object to the idea she only looked away from k when she looked at her. K had a sad look but she nodded. Amethyst went further into explaining how things weren't working out, and that after the divorce it wasn't the same causing them all to be only edge. K felt bad having to hear that they weren't friends. A part of her felt like that wasn't at all what was happening. But the gems neither Steven or Connie disagreed. They all thought it'd be best to separate themselves from k. "So that it? Wow...i-I'm sorry" she said rubbing her neck. After hearing the explanation she stood thanking them for saving her and left,

(To recap, through the vast number of fighting scenes k has suffered exact --- injuries. Broken hand, broken arm, 3 fractured ribs, 4 broken ribs, 4th degree burns, 3 life threatening impale wounds. And this doesn't include the amount of brutal training she did on homeworld)
