"Peridot bring up the diamond communication channel" I order peridot as she did so. The screen lit up and white diamond was present from the other end "have you captured the gems you went to earth to find" her voice rang out intimidating as if she was on the ship "my diamond" I saluted before I continued "the prisoners have escaped, I underestimated them greatly" I didn't feel comfortable lying to her and I knew that if this didn't go through we would all be shattered yet at the same time I've never felt so alive "where are they now" she said in a less threatening more questioning tone of voice. "They managed to steal an escape pod and headed back towards earth, I will re capture them and bring them to you my diamond" I said saluting once again "you would be wise not to fail this time" she said before looking over the ship "yes my diamond! I will not fail you this time, k out" I ended the call and let out a great burst of air "alright, bring the capture gems to the front of the ship if we're going to do this then we have to plan our next action, " amethyst had went to retrieve the gems and a moment later the all stood before me. "You can think Steven for what I'm about to say next" they all looked up at me with fear in there eyes "you gems, and humans, you're going to help me.........start a rebellion"

Pearls pov

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. A second rebellion, against the diamonds, how could we possibly stand a chance, we don't have Rose, we don't have any ally's on our side. "We're going to team up with you....as of now, you're no longer captives" she said in a scared tone. Could she really have been serious. "How do we know this isn't some sort of trick" I heard our Jasper say, we were all thinking it but she was the first to say it. "K has already lied to white diamond telling her that you all escaped and that we were headed back to earth to recapture you" peridot said not looking from her monitors "we've already considered the consequences, and we've decided to do it anyway" the lapis said sitting in the corner. "But why, why are you helping us now?" I asked quicker then my brain could process what was done. K looked at me and flashed me a smile I hadn't seen in years "it's easy to find what's wrong harder to find what's right," she said looking back at her screens. "This is ludicrous, do you even have a plan" I asked she shrugged "that's why everyone's here so we can come up with one, I personally think we should just charge in and see where it takes us" Steven looked at me and back at her " people who call others stupid are usually more stupid, but I'm stupid so I'll say it anyways, YOURE STUPID" Steven yelled in more of a panicked voice. K just laughed "maybe...but through out this whole thing you've been screaming viva la rebel, how I'm a big part of yours guys "family" I mean look at ya, you know just as much gem history as I do and you can still smile" Steven looked back at her with a sympathetic smile "the more I know the more I ignore, i just want gems to get along" he looked down "I know that's not going to happen, but I still would like to believe" I looked over at garnet who hadn't said a word this entire time I wonder what she was thinking.

What did she think this was. Did she really think she could just flip the script and we'd all accept her back with welcoming arms, she thinks this makes up for the years of agony. For all the torture I've had to endure. This makes up for nothing. I looked at Pearl and could see the sight of fear in her as she turned back around. We've all been beating ourselves up over her disappearance, she comes back beat the crap out of us and then want to reconcile by starting a rebellion, if she thinks I'm going to forgive her or even talk to her well I've got news for her, she's WRONG!

Amethyst pov

Garnet was looking on edge, can't say that I blame her. I would be to if my wife mysteriously disappeared then came back to earth to capture us and now wants to start a rebellion it's alittle much to take in. "So, are you in? I mean it's like you guys thing....to rebell?" She asked again. I flashed a fake smile "sure, let's beat them homeworld gems into the ground!" This caused a very surprised look from Steven and Connie that soon turned into a smile as everyone cheered.

This was really going to happen, I sat down in my chair, I looked over at garnet. Who to my surprise was already looking at me, more like glaring. I swallowed the lump in my throat and approached the gem. "Garnet, I would like to speak to you, if that's alright" I gave a warm smile I wasn't aware I was capable of doing she looked at me "it's your ship, what choice do I have" I frowned when she said that but left anyways with her following behind me when we were a safe distance a way I turned to face her " garnet..." I was cut off by her "you think you can just start a war and everything will be alright! You think you can just walk back in to my life after all the pain you've caused me" I watched the hot steamy tears roll down her cheek and I felt....small. Then she started laughing, whipping her tears away under her shades. "I can't blame you can I? As much as I want to I just can't fault you, huh?" She looked down and then back to the main hall leading to the control room."it doesn't matter" she looked back at me "I can still hate you" garnet said as she walked off back into the control room. Leaving me standing there wide eyed. I didn't understand what had happened but it made me feel...incredibly weak, and small. I pushed it aside as best I could and regained my threatening facade, I replaced my surprise with a menacing scowl and continued back to the control room.

When garnet and k entered back in the room the atmosphere was drastically different. It went from a slightly friendly vibe to an almost intimidating choke hold. I gulped at the thought and waited for someone if anyone to speak. "I'm going to drop you on earth, that should give us plenty of time to come up with a reasonable plan" that was all that was said on the long trip back home...
