I couldn't make sense of my movement just I abandoned every tactical decision I was ever trained into purpose, "STEVONNIE!!" I yelled as I tried to make my way there but homeworld alexandrite grabbed hold of me with her whip "it's rude to abandon your fight" she mumbled I wasn't going to make it in time my eyes widen as I saw the axe come down. I did the only thing I could. I defused.

Pearls pov:

I was closet, so I dashed for them I blocked her attack with my spear.. But I couldn't. I couldn't for long. "Rose" my eyes widen and tears wield up my eyes. She looked so much like her, everything everything was to key detail. "Tiihae" I wheezed as I felt the steal edge in the core of my being.."Rose" I looked down at the ax that was deeply ingraved in my side "Ro..se I...why" was the last things I said before my form destabilized and I retreated into my gem.

Stevonnie pov:
She proofed Pearl. She didn't even hesitate, she just did it, before I knew what came over me I lunged myself forward grabbing pearl's gem before anymore damage could be done quickly putting up my bubble. "You poofed Pearl...." Was all I could mutter as the tears ran down my face.

Garnet pov:

I saw the whole thing unfold but before I could react me and amethyst was picked up by alexandrite. "I give you credit you gems are tougher then you look but you still lack the skill to stay focused and finish your enemy off" she opened her second mouth about to release her flames but just as she did malachite shot a water stream she controlled with one hand knocking the fusion down. With her other hand she held a tight almost suffocating grip on homeworld malachite. "chill....out" she said before turning her attention back to her fight. She had defused and was standing over us. I summoned my gauntlets as a last hope attempt to turn things around "Don't even try it" she mentioned holding her sword up to me. I looked around and I saw lapis and Jasper unfused and trapped by the fusion, I saw amethyst being squeezed to death by homeworld amethyst's whip, I saw Steven clenching onto pearls gem and Connie cowering scared in a bubble as the Rose Quartz hovered above them again with her axe. I looked back at k. Did we really lose. No I can't lose, I can't do this again! I dashed backwards and put distance between us. I caught my breath for a second and all was silent.

Steven pov:

K was the first to charge, she clashed gauntlets with garnet creating a mass crater where they stood. They bounced back to the opposite ends of it. Some how garnet had managed to move her self to attack but that energy was gone now. She just stood there. "K I don't want to fight you." She said making her gauntlets disappear. Garnet held her head low waiting for the blow that was coming. "NOOOOOOOO K PLEASE DONT!!!" I screamed as I saw k bring her sword above her, but it was to late she thrusted her sword in garnet (PARRY PARRY THRUST!!!! lol sorry not sorry, I couldn't resist)

My eyes widen and my visors had fallen off my face. The tears streamed from my eyes as I looked down at the blade, I saw the reflection of her. Flashback flashed my mind in groups of three "k...I-I lo-love you" her eyes for a brief second turned soft before she regained herself "love is a prelude to destruction and despair" she said before pushing the sword deeper into me poofing me.

Steven pov:

I watched it happen again for the second time. Garnet poofed, I couldn't get to her either, k held ruby's and sapphire's gem in her hands "what made you think you could save this pathetic planet" she mumbled I watched as the homeworld Jasper and lapis where only seconds away from poofing them "Steven I'm sorry" lapis said I dropped my bubble hearing connie's desperate attempts "Steven nooo wait!" I heard Connie scream as I jumped infront of k "please don't shatter them, don't hurt them we..we " I was desperate I couldn't I didn't want my friends to be hurt, this isn't what I wanted "WE SURRENDER! " I yelled and dropped to my knees. K looked at me "round them up...put them in the containment field" I was pushed up to my feet me, Connie, Jasper, lapis, and amethyst  where all pushed inside the ship. Pearl Ruby and sapphire where carried along. "Put the two humans together, behind bars. The containment field want do anything to them" she said as we where reluctantly pushed inside our cells. And the ships begin to take off. My final thoughts where at least peridot didn't have to endure this.
