I stared down at the gems who seemed unphased by my appearance. K walked towards me with a smirk "have you really gone that desperate that you think we can't beat you at your own game" she yelled up at me. I had to push all emotions towards k aside. I had to treat her like the threat she is. I summoned my war hammer and slammed it into her knocking her into the cliff. She was un phased by the attack as she pulled her self out of the cliff. She stood dusting off her uniform "pathetic" she mumbled in the distance I could see there homeworld lapis and Jasper had fused into malachite as well. As I turned my attention back I Caught a glimpse of k right before she fused with Pearl and amethyst, forming another alexandrite. "You should keep your eyes on your enemy" they said as she summoned her whip and wrapped it around me, I opened my second mouth to release the flames I had built up. But she slung me into the cliff causing rocks to fall down "rose, handle the half breed" they said as they walked towards me.....

Me and Connie fused, we never thought that these gems would be so tough. "Rose, handle the half breed" I looked over at the Rose Quartz that was walking slowly towards us. My eyes widened and I could hear Connie voice inside our head 'Steven it's ok, it's not her, she's not your mom. Don't hold back!' I closed my eyes tight and breathed in. I let out the burst of air and dropped the bubble we dashed towards each other her ax clashed with my sword. She looked so much like her, but so different. She wore a rose gold helmet that covered her eyes a dark pink battle suit with a diamond in the middle. We spun around slinging the sword which she blocked with her ax the force sending her siding back some. She dashed forward bring her ax over head I put up bubble and through out the spikes. She looked over at the other fusions and then back at us, I couldn't register the look in her face. It looked like she wanted to admit defeat or maybe she wanted to rip us to pieces. She tightened the grip on her axe before brushing whatever her thought was out the window. She brought her ask down with enough force to pop my bubble. And we bounced back landing on our but. 'are you alright' 'yeah I'm fine, are you all right connie' I rubbed my head and looked at the gem standing over me with her axe raised. I was so caught off guard, my eyes widen and I couldn't move in the distance I heard the faint call of alexandrite "STEVONNIE!!!" She screamed as the axe was brought down
