It was 8 against 7 we had a lead over them, even if it was just a little one, it was a lead. I gripped the handle of roses sword ready for my cue. The homeworld gems charged first, k dashed for me first I blocked her attack and then struck next, she easily side stepped and brought her sword around thank goodness Steven was next to me, he blocked her attack with his shield. "K STOP! THIS ISNT WHO YOU ARE!!" I heard him scream as he formed a bubble around me and him. K looked on at is with a disgusted look before putting her foot down on the bubble and raising her sword. "How do you know who I am...." She mumbled "I don't even know who I am" she mumbled that last part but I think I was the only one who heard her. Suddenly a whip wrapped around her arm and she was slung back.

Amethyst pov:

She was about to wreck them, I could tell there was no hesitation in her movement I threw my whip towards her and slung her back towards me. As she was flying my way I balled my fist up. She turned her head to look back at me before shifting her body and forced herself into the ground. She stood over me. Suddenly my throat became dry. I whipped my whip around her and strummed at it causing a spark to travel to her.  Suddenly I felt a whip around me and I turned to see a much taller and stronger amethyst "deep cut your fight is with me" she said in a rasp voice slinging me around in a complete circle before slinging me into the ocean.

Pearls pov:

I watched as the homeworld amethyst slung her into the ocean and then I turned my attention to k. She dusted herself off. This was my chance. I fired a bolt of energy from my spear directly at her which was blocked by her homeworld Jasper. She dusted off the bolt and charged in a spin dash towards me. I jumped out of the way as she continued to charge I fired another bolt at k, she looked up at me with dis taste as she dodged and jumped up to my level grabbing my arm and slinging me into the cliff just above the temple. "PEARLLLLLLLLL!!!!" I heard garnet shout before she to was shout by one of homeworld's peridots plasma canon this time landing into sand. I removed myself from the A gaping hole and landed on the sand. This time I was faced with a Pearl. I drew out another spear and she drew out her sword. "When I was trained for this mission I thought that it was ridiculous, but seeing a defect like you makes me understand why she did it" the Pearl dashed toward me in a series of attacks. I had to focus she was incredibly skilled and I wasn't doing a good job of defending her attacks. "WE NEED TO FUSE!!!!!! WE NEED ALEXANDRITE!!" I heard garnet voice above all the confusion. Both me and amethyst tried our best to dance our way to garnet so that we can fuse but homeworld amethyst wrapped her whip around me and slung me away and Jasper did a spin dash knocking amethyst into the ocean. "In a real fight what type of fool waits for his opponents to attack" k's voice rang over everything. Lapis drew up the ocean and used it sweep homeworld Jasper into the cliff.

Lapis pov

I had no emotional ties to k what so ever. She was a good friend, she was there. So I can understand why garnet amethyst and Pearl are holding back. But this is not a family squabble. This is a fight for this planet. And if I have to bare it I will. I rose the ocean up and slammed homeworld Jasper into the cliff, while our Jasper did a spin dash into homeworld amethyst who was mere second away from poofing our peridot. Peridot wasn't a fighter she was suppose to run back to the barn to get the ship in case we had to make a retreat but she got stuck in the battle. "YOU SHOULD KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE THREAT" I heard homeworlds lapis shout as she slammed her foot on the ground using it as leverage to lift part of the ocean up and punch me into the sky. I sprouted wings to hold me so that I don't crash back down. "You're no threat to me" I shouted back taking the other half of the ocean and squashing her with it. She wasn't like me at all, she wasn't half as strong as I was. But she did a good job holding out. I turned my attention to Steven who had fused with Connie and was now trapped in there bubble as k, peridot, and Pearl surround them. "This isn't getting us no where. EVERYONE FUSE. It's our only way" I screamed over to the crystal gems before landing on the ground and running to Jasper. Over the time me and Jasper had patched up our issues so of course this was the time to fuse with her. I trusted jasper.......
