The diamonds hummed as she helped yellow up fusing into one. Our eyes widened with a look of pure fear. K clenched her fist as the diamond smirked "withness what true power is...you're foolish to have ever came against a diamond" k didn't wait she dashed in with a punch as the diamond easily blocked. It turned around bring her foot in kicking k. Instead of flying through the air she slid back her grip around the fusions foot. The look of shock flooded the gems as k's very veins were popping out, her muscles pushing past it's limits. She screamed as she lifted with all her strength. "Hm" the fusion said not realizing what was happening. K had managed to take the diamond fusion by her foot and slam her down into the ground. "Don't underestimate me!" She screamed as she fell to one knee. Bismuth walked forward resting her hand on k's shoulder. "I don't know you...but anyone who can hold there own against a diamond is ok in my book" she said as k got back up. The diamond fusion stood clearly pissed and annoyed. K ran ahead like usual instead of observing the situation. The diamond smirked as she opened her mouth. A hypnotic sound rushing over the field stunning her keeping her from moving. Bismuth had rushed back handing everyone ear plugs she had made. The sound changing in tune as k's body shook, her gem glowed as spikes grew from her shoulder. "Oh no..." Stevonnie said as she un fused "i-its..." he started as garnet looked away "corruption" she said as k screamed in agonizing pain. K crouched over into the ground. Her heart pounding, her mind racing with thousands of thoughts.

-flashback-
"Hey K, where's your family" Steven asked as the both sat on the roof of the temple enjoying ice-cream. "Family, my family are bad people...it's best not to talk about them"

-cut scene-

"Who's this" Steven asked as K's twin sister appeared "you have a twin!!" He said his eyes lighting up with excitement. "You have a mission, this is the guy youre to kill" she said as Stevens eyes widened and k pulled her sister away.

-cut scene-

"Kill?" Steven asked mortified. "I'm from...a family of assassins Steven...it just what we do" k said softly "please don..." before k could even finish Steven had ran away mortified.

-cut scene-

"I don't think we should hang around her" Steven said in a low voice but k could still hear him from behind the wall. She crossed her arms a pained look on her face.

-end flashback-

Painful.,..painful moments throughout her life filled her memories. Everything that could corrupt her came to the surface..and for a 20 something year old...there was a lot. Much more then any human, gem or human gem hybrid could even dare to think of...what did that mean for k..

All of this should have corrupted her. But k had gone silent from her screams of agony...she was breathing heavily..her eyes wide the spikes seeming to slow its appearance. ""I am the bone of my sword, Steel is my body and fire is my blood" steam slowly rising from her body as the diamond fusion took a step back. She growled rising the pitch of her voice as she sung. K winched grabbing at her sides. "I have created over a thousand memories, Unknown to death, Nor known to life" she was breathing heavier, it becoming much harder to talk as her mind was getting clouded. The color in her eyes fading in and out "Have let many die for the sake of my fame, yet those hands shall never hold anything So, as I pray....Unlimited..,..fire works" she said as her body heated several thousand times beyond human capacity. "I-is she....fighting corruption" Steven asked a bit surprised

The spikes retracted slowly, her hair changing from its crimson fire blood burning red to a bright Snow White, her eyes turning fire red as she stood "I-IMPOSSIBLE!" The diamond fusion screamed as k summoned her gauntlets, slowly appearing around her hands, she grabbed her sword, as it changed turning a pitch black with Snow White trimming as it broke in two. (That throwback to the original book though ) k's hair grew in length as the wind blew. "Your ideals will die along with you." She said as she lowered herself the closer she got to the ground the more it rumbled until finally she shot forward unable to be detected by human eyes as she seemingly appeared just above the diamonds head. They had no time to look up as k was in motion, a spin kick that k comes her down towards the ground, "no, that...a mere shoulder could not possibly fight corruption, nor even dare defeat a diamond...a fused diamond at that" the diamonds voice cracked as if they were unfusing. K turned her head to them a smirk. She quickly regretted the action as she cough up blood. 'I..,I can't handle this level of speed I knew it' she thought as garnet looked away. "She's killing herself" she mumbled "I'll finish this quickly then" she mumbled as she dash in disappearing only to look as if she was teleporting from spot to spot. She drew her fist back and while the Diamond was still close to the ground gave a jaw crackling punch that sent the diamond into the wall. She stumbled a bit and regained. The collusion breaking the bones in her hand. "I gotta give it to her. She has guts" bismuth said as her and the other tended to the wounded leaving garnet,amethyst, pearl and Steven to watch. "Yeah..but at what cost" Pearl said covering her mouth. Tears streaming as Steven bit his lip. "T-this isn't worth it. WE CAN FIND ANOTHER WAY" he shouted as K looked over to him. His eyes widened as it looked as if k's very skin was peeling off....."my sins.....have nothing to do with you" she said softly

"You insolent little pest" the diamond said taking her hand and swiping at the ground taking whatever was with it as she swatted k into the air. K opened her eyes slowly as the diamond brought her hand down. She glared disappearing only to be seen momentarily dashing up her arm she was traveling to the gem, she took her sword cutting along the way as she stuck it in her shoulder, she used it as a spring board to leap to the diamonds head. Her hand gripped the gems edge as the diamond focused her eyes on k. She moved trying to knock her off balance but k was relentless. She pulled on the gem with ever fiber she had it was no good as the diamond used her other hand swatting k into the cliff. She coughed up more blood as she slide down the wall. Looking down at her hand that was broken she bit her lip. Her hair stood on edge as sparks flew. Anything that was nearby was engulfed in flames, part of the sand turning to glass as she dashed forwards again, the sound barrier breaking as she appeared just in sight of he diamond. Unfortunately her lungs were slowly collapsing and her heart was unable to catch up with the speed in which she was going. As she coughed up more and more of her blood

What was driving her now? With the amount of blood she had lost, her broken bones, and her failing organs. She should have been dead...actually. K was pretty close to dead if not already dead. Her sheer willpower, anger and aggression was all that was driving her as she fell, she clutched onto the diamonds robe as she headed for the chest gem. She screamed as her eyes rolled back. That was it. That was her last moment.. she pulled the diamond out with everything in her. Her veins popped out of her forehead and muscles as the gem budged before the fusion collapsed in a cloud of smoke. She laid on the sand flames surrounded her as she held onto the diamond preventing it from reforming.  "You.....you....." white diamond mumbled as she pulled herself from the ground. Steven ran to k's aid "why..why would you do such a thing" his tears flowing as he looked at her "this...this isn't what I wanted" he said. But Stevens voice was fading. The color in k's eyes was fading...the world......was fading....everything was turning black...........
