Peridot's pov:

This is just great I have no combatant skills, I have no team, I have no way to defend the planet from homeworld. I'm all by myself. I can't do this alone I'm only good for strategy, strategy without action is useless. That makes me useless. I hugged my knees as I sat in the temple cowering around the bubbles. Wait! The bubbles. The gems said something about one of the bubbles if only I had bothered to pay attention I would just have to make a guess. I scanned over the bubbles before my selection and popping it. "Please don't be corrupted" I crossed my fingers hoping. As the gem took shape she landed on the ground with a thud. There was no signs of corruption, She almost seemed surprised to be free herself. "I-i didn't expect to be back so soon, di-did he tell you" she looked up and around "wh-who are you" she said jumping back some. I felt my throat become dry "Pe-peridot" I mumbled. "Wh-who are you" I peered at the gem who now stood straight up. "Bismuth, one of the original crystal gems" she said almost as if she was ashamed of that title.

Bismuth's Pov:

This gem had set me free, I had so many questions. Why was I set free? Where were the others? Who was she? "You have to help me, they might be back at any second" she helped scared and rushing behind me "who, who might be back at any second?" I asked curiously "they got Steven, they've got garnet, they've got Pearl, they've got amethyst, I'm the only one who hasn't been caught yet" she said clinging to my leg "who knows when they'll come back now that there's no one protecting this planet. "Who, who are you talking about?" I asked again. She looked at me with a scared panicked expression "HOMEWORLD!" She yelled I ran out of the room that I had formed in and into the main temple, no one was there it was empty. I ran out on to the beach, there was no one. Not a gem in sight I turned back to peridot "where is everyone" I asked again. " what are you death, homeworld homeworld came with a battalion of soldiers and captured them all, I'm all that's left, " she said panicking. "What are we going to do, we're just two gems, I don't even have a weapon" she cried out I turned back to her "weapon? Well then I think we just may be in bismuth" I smiled causing her to look puzzled.

K's pov:

I hung off my chair loosely as I often did "if the plan was to go right we were to go back to earth, gather up all the information stored in the prime Kindergarden on the diamonds, sneak the crystal gems back on homeworld use the advanced tech to challenge the diamonds on homeworld. This was a lot happening, and I was starting to doubt the plan. No. it was far to late to back down now. I closed my eyes to think.

Garnet's Pov:

We had free range of the ship, while k wasn't thinking about the plan me and the other gems gathered in the investigation room. "Garnet? Are you gonna.." amethyst started to say but I cut her off already knowing what she's going to ask. "I'm fine, let's just focus on getting through this alive" I said Pearl was sitting down at the table. "How will we even know this will work again" I looked at the other gems, "there's a small chance of this working. We just have to believe in peridot." I said looking back at Pearl and amethyst. "Can you tell us what's going to happen," homeworld's Jasper asked
"I can say for certain that either way the diamonds will come to earth, the war will be on earth. It all depends on peridot at this moment."
Jasper sighed and sat down "great so our lives depend on the green peep squeak that's afraid of her own shadow" she said after rolling her eyes. Pearl chimed in "have some faith....she's right though"
"We already have fusion, and if everything goes well we'll have weapons the odds aren't totally against us. We'll just have to wait till we get to earth" garnet said slowly taking in ever option that she could.

Pearl's Pov:

I can't say that I was to thrilled about the situation but garnet was acting like herself again. She was becoming the leader we all needed and came to adore. I don't know if it's because of k or because she's over k but which ever way it happened it worked. We might actually have some faith. We might actually when this thing. "Garnet what did K talk to you about?" I asked before I had realized it. Garnet looked at me "nothing, she didn't want anything important" her tone was like she was angered by the question. She had given me the answer to the question rather she knew it or not. I folded my hands together a habit of mine all we could was wait. Earth was coming into view and it'd only be alittle while longer.

                                      ~Earth~

K's Pov:

We landed on earth just a few moments ago, I had ordered had ordered all the gems to take all the weapons we had on board off, if it came down to it my ship had a self destruction sequence capable of taking out a diamond. It was a small sacrifice but if it ever came to it I wouldn't care about myself. I touched a hand to my chest. Weird...saying that. But I'm sure this is everything that I'd rather be doing. "K! Let's go!" I heard garnet shout. I moved my hand and walked off of the ship.

                                ~The Forge~

Peridot's Pov:

"So you built buildings for homeworld back when you were a homeworld gem?" I asked looking around  not really  sure how she was going to be of help. We came to a stop at a wall. "Yeah, I was. But rose told me my life was my own, and I could do what I wanted," she said the gem ok her chest flowed and the doors open. We walked in and it felt like an oven in here it was so hot. "So what did you decide to do" I asked as the lights came on "oh," I answered my own questions in astonishment. There was weapons everywhere. "What do you feel most comfortable with?" She asked already mixing different materials together "My limb enhancers had all sort of useful things like a blaster and energy shield" I said trying to remember the gadgets I used so long ago. She seemed to have been in thought before saying "I think I know the perfect weapon for you" she said pouring lava over herself and then getting to work on a mold. I sat down and watched remembering how k had once given me sword training, before she had disappeared. I was so surprise to see her like that. Homeworld had brain washed her she looked so dead inside. I bald my fist up but quickly released my anger the only thing I could do now was prepare "done!" Bismuth said she was holding a type of harness in her hand. "Is that a weapon?" I asked with an eyebrow raised. "Here" she said outing it on me. It fit like a back pack and fastened around my waist, there was some parts that attached to ankles and it had some metallic like gloves that my hands easily slid into. "How is this going to help?" I asked "I can't help you with blasters and all of that but this will be good for you if you've ever had sword training..if not well then it's never to late to learn, twitch your pointer finger" she instructed I did so and a blade shout from the gloves, I was amazed at the design it was comfortable and easy to release when needed. "Of you do your hand in a whip motion then the blades detach into pieces connected with a single strength wire, as strong as amethyst wipes, it'll let you wipe your opponents" I did so and the sword detached into a sorta whip or chain might be a better word for it. "If you twitch your middle instead a grapple comes out" I did so and without warning a single grapple shout out and attached itself into the wall making me jump. "It'll give you more of an advantage if you can get from point a to point b faster, since it doesn't look like your very fast on your feet. Speaking of which" she looked down "they connect to any solid or liquid surface this should also give you an advantage," she thought before speaking again "if need be press here" she pointed to a button on the side of my waist "I manage to make a few bombs, there not very powerful against a Diamond but it could do some damage to an unsuppecting gem, you don't have a lot so use them with caution" she said pulling out a slim circle device, she placed it back in the compartment it shout out from and closed it. "This has got to be the coolest thing I've ever built" she said proudly. "You go back, I'll be here I'll have to make a few more weapons if it's just going to be the two of us" I nodded and ran towards the door I stopped just when I got to it "Bismuth.........Thank you" she smiled "it was a pleasure" she added I nodded and ran back.

K's Pov:

We waited inside of the temple, we all knew what we were to do, just then peridot warped in. She was admittedly surprised and some blades shot from her hands. But at a closer glance i could see she had some sorta harness on. "Peridot it's ok," garnet added coming from a room inside the temple "garnet, pearl, amethyst lapis, even Jasper ohh I'm so relieved to see you guys" she put her weapons away "but why are you guys with them" she said scowling over at us. I was leant against the counter "we're going to go to war......with the diamonds......it has to stop here" garnet said adjusting her glasses. "ARE YOU NUTS! The diamonds are flawless beings, do you have a death wish on your head" she shouted"no, but we have a target on our backs so it's not like we have a choice......you prepared well" I said looking over her gear, she looked away "I was prepared for if you came back" she quickly added. "Why are you here" she said putting emphasis on me. I shrugged "change of heart" I added simply, "let's go" garnet instructed and we all stepped on the warp pad. We arrived at the forge. I had only been here once before but when we arrived the doors where open garnet went in first then the rest "I had counted on peridot releasing you, were taking the fight to homeworld can you help us?" She asked the gem smiled liked this was her redemption or something and instructed us all to come in. Most of us already had weapons so she either gave us a secondary weapon or improved the weapon we already had. "What you packing slim" she asked I rolled my eyes at the name and summoned my gauntlets and sword. "Well I can't improve that, what kinda sword is that" she asked I split the sword and held one in each hand. "It's something that was made for me" I said simply placing them back together and dropping the sword into the ground "looks heavy to" she added and I nodded "I want that one, right there" I pointed to the seemingly long sword that was on the wall. She looked at it and then at me "can you even handle that." She asked surprised. I picked my sword up and handed it to her. She held her hand out but as soon as it made contact she dropped to the ground, she had to adjust herself and even using both hands with one foot propped against the table she just barely got it off the ground. "Ok ok you made your point" she stated taking the blade of the wall and making a handle. It was long, probably just long enough for me to go up against a Diamond, I carried it on my shoulder "thanks" I stayed walking out, once everyone was equipped or modified we warped back. "Guys, guys we have a problem" Steven said as he ran inside the temple for some reason he didn't come with us, but we brought him and his girlfriend back a weapon that they could handle. "What's the problem" I asked handing the girl who I came to know as Connie a sword. "There's a ship here! There's another ship outside" we all ran outside to see 2 ships seemingly large ships I might add "there here," garnet added "the diamonds "  I finished lowering my gaze on them.
