The six mares, Y/n and the Princesses made it back to Ponyville where Luna and Y/n were introduced as Celestia's brother and sister. It was a bit of a shock, especially about Y/n, but the two were welcomed with open arms. Two Pegasus foals even gave Luna a necklace of roses. While this happy celebration was going on, Twilight looked a bit down.

Princess Celestia: Why so glum, my faithful student? Are you not happy that your quest is complete and you can return to your studies in Canterlot?

Twilight: That's just it. Just when I learn how wonderful it is to have friends, I have to leave them.

Celestia looked at Spike.

Princess Celestia: Spike, take a note, please. I, Princess Celestia, hereby decree that the Unicorn Twilight Sparkle shall take on a new mission for Equestria. She must continue to study the Magic of Friendship. She must report to me her findings from her new home in Ponyville.

All of Twilight's friends except Y/n after they heard that and hugged her.

Twilight: Oh, thank you, Princess Celestia. I'll study harder than ever before.

Everyone cheered hearing that.

Rainbow Dash: Wait, this still doesn't cover you.

She pointed at Y/n.

Y/n: Fine. I guess you are all owed an explanation. But first, we need to be somewhere a little more private.

Twilight: You said the library, so let's go there.

They all made there way to the Golden Oak Library.

Spike: So, what's going on exactly?

Twilight: That's what we're about to find out.

Y/n: All right, first thing, Y/n isn't my full name.

Pinkie Pie: What's your full name? Wait, don't tell me! Is it Y/n Cuddle?!

Y/n: No.

Pinkie Pie: Y/n Star?

Y/n: No.

Pinkie Pie: I got it! Y/n Fluff!

Y/n: No.

Pinkie Pie: Well, I give up.

Y/n: You see, I am Prince Y/n the Destroyer.

Twilight gasp when she heard his name.

Twilight: It can't be! I thought you were just a myth!

Y/n: So, you believed Nightmare Moon's existed, but you didn't mine?

Twilight: (nervously laughs) Yeah, I guess that was pretty silly of me.

Rarity: Um, I'm sorry, darling. But I've never heard of a "Y/n the Disordered" in my life.

Y/n: (slammed his hooves on a table startling her) Destroyer!

Y/n walked closer to Rarity and got in her face.

Y/n: I've been away for too long if the mere mention of my name no longer strikes fear into the heart of one so weak.

Rarity: Well, I'm t-terribly sorry, but could you maybe not be so close?

She was sweating nervously until Y/n walked away.

Y/n: I suppose a full background check is an order.

Rainbow Dash: I mean, it would really help.

Y/n: See, I am the twin brother of Princess Celestia and the older brother of Princess Luna.

Spike: Twins?!

He looked at both Y/n and Celestia.

Spike: I mean, I can see some resemblance between you two, but are you sure you're twins?

Princess Celestia: Well, I was born ten minutes earlier.

Y/n: Back to my background. Celestia and Luna created balance by bringing both day and night. I played a different, yet just as if not, more important role. I was assigned to destroy any and all threats that came to Equestria in order to keep the balance my sisters created.

Twilight: Well, if that's the case then please, forgive me for speaking so casually to you, your highness.

She bowed and everyone else except Celestia and Luna bowed too.

Y/n: I didn't remember I was royalty myself, so I'll let it slide this time.

Applejack: But wait, if you also ruled Equestria, how come you weren't with the princess for the 1000 years Nightmare Moon's been in the moon?

Y/n: Well, I kind of died.

Six mares/Spike/Luna: Died?!

Y/n: Yeah, I don't really remember how it happened, but I do know it happened not too long after me and Celestia banished Nightmare.

Rarity: Well, I don't really think you'd be standing here before us if you've "died" 1000 years ago.

Y/n: Yeah, I don't know who or why, but someone has brought me back from the dead in this younger body.

Twilight: That can happen?

Y/n: Necromancy is rare, but not impossible. There are very few beings that can do it, but those beings have stronger magic than even Celestia herself.

Everyone was shocked to hear that.

Spike: So, wait, your telling me there are beings even stronger than the Princess?!

Y/n: Well, why else would she need guards?

Princess Celestia: If you're going to insult my power, make sure I'm not around to hear it?!

Y/n: How did you deal with her for a thousand years? I could barely do 200.

Fluttershy: It's really not bad.

Princess Luna: I've been gone for a thousand years and I come back to see my big brother in the body of an everyday stallion.

Princess Celestia: Well, regardless. I'm glad to have you both back.

Y/n: (blank look) Same.

Pinkie: Wow. I don't think I've ever seen N/n this happy before!

Y/n hugged both his sisters which made them hug back.

Princess Celestia: Oh, Y/n, there's something we almost forgot.

Y/n: Right, my power.

Twilight: Your power?

Y/n: See, before I died, I parted with the majority of my power, which is called Destruction Magic so Celestia could pick a successor for me, but we know that never happened.

Princess Celestia: You're power should still be where you left it.

Y/n whispered something and held out his hoof where a violet sphere the same size as the one he hit Nightmare with appeared.

Rainbow Dash: That's your power? It's a bit smaller than I thought it'd be.

Y/n: It is supposed to be bigger than this.

Princess Celestia: I thought you were the only one who could access that pocket dimension.

Y/n: Then I guess I was wrong. Might as well take this, though.

Y/n brought the orb to his chest and he absorbed it. When he did, his eyes turned violet for a moment, his mane began to flow like Celestia's and so did his cape.

Y/n: Yes, my power has returned!

He put his hoof on a stool.

Y/n: Long live the Prince!

Rainbow Dash: That was so cool!

Spike: So, what now,

Y/n: You and the Elements of Harmony are dismissed to do whatever you want, dragon.

Pinkie: Let's get back to the party!

They all ran out of the library leaving the royal siblings alone.

Princess Celestia: Well, now that this is all settled, I say we go back to Canterlot.

Princess Luna: I would like to see our new castle.

Y/n watched the mares have fun.

Princess Celestia: Y/n, you coming?

Y/n: No, you both go on ahead. I think I'm gonna stick around for awhile.

Princess Luna: Brother, are you sure.

Y/n: I'm an Element of Harmony now, and I think it would be best if the Elements were to stick together. Besides, I am also curious about the power of the Magic of Friendship.

Celestia smiled when she heard that.

Princess Luna: But-

Princess Celestia: Leave it, Luna. You know when Y/n makes up his mind, there's no changing it. All right, Y/n. You may stay here in Ponyville, but you are to still play your role as Prince of Destruction. When something happens, you need to be ready to protect Ponyville and Equestria as a whole.

Y/n: I was gonna do that anyway.

Celestia and Luna gave him one more hug and then left to there carriage.

Princess Celestia: Please come for a visit whenever you can, Y/n!

Y/n: I will.

The two Princesses left and Y/n went over to the six mares and Spike.

Y/n: Hello.

Twilight: Prince Y/n? Aren't you going with your sisters?

Y/n: I am an Element of Harmony like the rest of you. So, for the good of Equestria, we have... to work...

Rainbow Dash had a smug look.

Rainbow Dash/Y/n: Together.

Rainbow Dash: I knew it, you can't live without us.

Y/n: Wipe that smug look off your face, Element of Loyalty. You and the rest need me.

Rainbow Dash: Sure. I'm a big enough pony to admit that.

Spike: Well, if you're gonna work together, the seven of you need a name.

Y/n: We're the Elements of Harmony. I don't think we need-

Pinkie: How about "The Mane Seven"?

Y/n: What?

Pinkie: Well, we're the main ponies which sounds like mane that we ponies have, and there's seven of us.

Y/n: Hmm. It's not the worst name.

Spike: The Mane Seven it is then.

They all got into a group hug that Y/n would've yelled at them over, but he was lost in thought.

Y/n: (Thinking: How did I come back? Celestia doesn't have the kind of magic to bring me back. And where's the rest of my power?)

Elsewhere.

A cloaked figure walked in front of the mountain Y/n came from to see the big hole Y/n came out of.

???: What?! Where is he?!

The figure brought out an orb that looked like a goat's eye and looked into it. He saw Y/n with the Mane six.

???: Ah, I see. Well, this barely effects my plan. Knowing him, as soon as those ponies slip up, he'll lose fate in them and be desperate for his power and when it happens, he'll seek me out. With that Prince's help, I'll rule Equestria once again.

The figure raised their head just to show their glowing yellow eyes then they chuckled maniacally until it turned into evil laughter.
