Previously on The Destroyer of Equestria.

It was the day of the Summer Sun Celebration, Y/n had dreams about the Princess and another mare, he met up with a unicorn named Twilight Sparkle and her dragon, Spike. Twilight and Y/n decided to work together to stop the wicked mare, Nightmare Moon. When Princess Celestia was supposed to show up to raise the sun, the ponies were instead met with Nightmare Moon, who promised to bring Everlasting night. But Y/n spoke up and challenged the Mare in the Moon. Will Twilight and Y/n stop Nightmare Moon and get answers for Y/n? Or will the night truly last forever? Y/n and Nightmare Moon stared each other down as everypony there was just standing by watching everything unfold.

Applejack: Is Y/n crazy, or something?!

Rarity: He can't seriously be thinking about taking on that thing, can he?!

Twilight: Guess we'll have to see.

Nightmare Moon: Do you seriously dare to stand against me, knave?

Y/n: My name is Y/n. And I do dare to stand against you, mare.

Y/n spread his wings, bringing shock to Nightmare.

Nightmare Moon: You are an Alicorn!?

Y/n: Not even the mare in the moon can hide her surprise.

Y/n flew up to her trying to punch her, but Nightmare moved out of the way.

Nightmare Moon: So be it!

She shot a blast at Y/n, but he reacted quickly by summoning a shield.

Y/n: That can't seriously be all you've got, can it?

They went for a back in forth clash.

Spike: I can't tell who's winning.

Twilight: Me neither.

Y/n put some magical energy into his hoof and punch Nightmare sqare in the face, sending her back.

Nightmare Moon: Try this on for size.

Nightmare turned into blue mist, went behind Y/n and kicked him in the back of his head.

Y/n: Lucky shot.

Y/n teleported multiple times in different places.

Nightmare Moon: What's your play here, you fool?!

Y/n teleported above her and gave a roundhouse kick.

Y/n: Weren't expecting that, were you?

Y/n shot a blast at Nightmare, but she blocked it with a shield.

Y/n: Not as easy as I thought it would be, it seems.

Nightmare Moon: Oh, you thought this would be easy?

Nightmare shot a beam at Y/n that knocked him to the ground, but he quickly recovered the ran at Nightmare with a magic infused hoof, but she turned into blue mist and flew out of there.

Y/n: Get back here, you coward!

Y/n flew down to the ground.

Y/n: Dang, got away.

Pinkie and Fluttershy quickly ran to Y/n and hugged him.

Y/n: What are you two doing?

Fluttershy: We were so worried about you.

Twilight: Y/n, I can't believe you just fought Nightmare Moon!

Y/n: I should've beat her. I gotta find her and settle this.

Y/n ran after Nightmare's mist.

Spike: That was something.

Twilight: We've gotta get back to the library!

Twilight ran to the library with Spike on her back. When they got there, Twilight put Spike to bed.

Spike: (mumbling) We got to stop Nightmare!

He instantly fell asleep and Twilight threw a blanket over him.

Twilight: You've been up all night, Spike. You are a baby dragon, after all.

Twilight started throwing books around.

Twilight: Elements, elements, elements. Ugh! How can I stop Nightmare Moon without the Elements of Harmony?

Rainbow Dash suddenly appeared and got in Twilight's face.

Rainbow Dash: And just what are the Elements of Harmony? And how did you know about Nightmare Moon, huh? Are you a spy?

The other mares came and Applejack pulled Rainbow back.

Applejack: Simmer down, Sally. She ain't no spy. But she sure knows what's going on. Don't you, Twilight?

Twilight: I read all about the prediction of Nightmare Moon. Some mysterious objects called The Elements of Harmony are the only things that can stop her. But I don't know what they are, where to find them. I don't even know what they do.

Pinkie got out a book.

Pinkie: "The Elements of Harmony: A Reference Guide."

Twilight: How did you find that?

Pinkie: (singsongy voice) It was under "E"!

Twilight took the book and read it.

Twilight: "There are six Elements of Harmony, but only five are known- Kindness, Laughter, Generosity, Honesty, and Loyalty. The sixth is a complete mystery. It is said that the last known location of the five elements was in the ancient castle of the Royal Pony Siblings.

Little did they know, Nightmare's mist was outside listening.

Twilight: Well, before I go, I need to call someone.

Rarity: Who would that be?

Twilight went outside the library and the others followed. Twilight cleared her throat.

Twilight: Nightmare Moon, what are you doing here?!

Pinkie: Nightmare Moon?! Where?!

Y/n flew down towards them fast, causing dust to rise up and the ground to crack when he landed.

Y/n: Where are you, Nightmare Moon?! Come out and fig-

He turned his head to see Twilight.

Y/n: Oh, it's you.

Twilight: Yeah, sorry for tricking you, but I didn't know any other way to get your attention. Now, we need to talk.

Y/n: What could you have to stay that could possibly interest me? All I want is to defeat Nightmare Moon.

Twilight: And what I'm about to tell you might just be able to help.

One short explanation later.

Y/n: Hm. The Elements of Harmony. I'll say, you spin quite the tale, Sparkle.

Twilight: If you help me get the Elements, you may beat on Nightmare until you are satisfied. But don't kill her. I'll use the Elements to deal with her.

Y/n: Fine. I did say that I would help you and I am a stallion of my word. But here's the thing. You don't do even raise a hoof to Nightmare until I give the okay. Those are the terms if you want me to cooperate. Is that clear, Sparkle?

Twilight: Crystal.

Y/n: All right, so where is this castle exactly?

Twilight: The book says it is located in what is now...

They along with the other five mares were in front of a huge forest.

6 mares: The Everfree Forest?!

Pinkie: Whee! Let's go!

Twilight: Not so fast. Look, I appreciate the offer, but I'd really rather do this on my own.

Applejack: No can do, sugar cube. We sure ain't letting any friend of ours go into that creepy place alone. We're sticking to you like caramel on a candy apple.

Pinkie: Especially if there's candy apples in there.

Y/n: There isn't.

Twilight: Y/n, I know you said you were going to help me, but are you sure you wanna come with? It could be dangerous.

Y/n: I'd still go even if you demanded me not to. Besides, me and Nightmare have a score to settle. Now, come on.

They all walked into the forest.

Twilight: So, none of you have ever been in here before?

Rarity: Oh. H-Heavens, no. Just look at it. It's dreadful!

Applejack: And it ain't natural. Folks say it don't work the same as Equestria.

Twilight: What's that supposed to mean?

Rainbow Dash: No pony knows. You know why?

Applejack: Rainbow, quit it.

Rainbow Dash: 'Cause every pony who's ever come in has never come... out!

The cliff they were standing on suddenly broke, causing everyone except Rainbow, Fluttershy and Y/n to fall.

Y/n: Well, I must say, that was unexpected.

Rainbow Dash: Fluttershy, Y/n, quick!

They chased after the other four that were sliding down the hill. Rainbow was able to catch Pinkie while Fluttershy got Rarity, Applejack held on by a root, but Twilight was left hanging off of a cliff. Applejack saw this and went to go help her.

Applejack: Hold on. I'm a-comin'.

Twilight: Applejack, what do I do?

Applejack took a pause.

Applejack: Let go.

Twilight: Are you crazy?!

Applejack: No, I ain't. I promise you'll be safe.

Twilight: That's not true.

Applejack: Now, listen here. What I'm saying to you is the honest truth. Let go, and you'll be safe.

Twilight reluctantly let go and fell for a bit before she was caught by Y/n.

Twilight: Phew.

Y/n: Why did you trust her?

Twilight: I don't know. It just seemed right.

Y/n brought Twilight down to ground level and dropped her while Applejack just jumped down.

Y/n: Regardless, let's get going.

Later.

They were walking along the path again and as they were, Y/n kept noticing Twilight looking at him.

Y/n: What?

Twilight: Huh?

Y/n: You keep looking at me.

Twilight: Oh, sorry. It's just, uh-

Y/n: Just what?

Twilight: Don't take this the wrong way, but I've noticed you kind of look a bit like Princess Celestia.

Five mares: Huh?

Y/n: In what regard?

Twilight: Well, you have a similar facial structure and your coat is white like hers.

Y/n: That so? Well-

Something jumped in front of them.

Twilight: (gasp) A Manticore!

The Manticore roared out.

Twilight: We've got to get past him.

Y/n: Couldn't agree more.

The Manticore jumped at Rarity, but she dodged and bucked it in the face.

Rarity: Take that, you ruffian!

The Manticore roared in Rarity's face, making her mane go poofy.

Rarity: My hair!

She ran away as the Manticore chased her.

Fluttershy: (quietly) Wait.

Applejack jumped onto the Manticore, causing it to stop chasing Rarity.

Applejack: Yee-haw! Get along, little doggy!

Fluttershy: (quietly) Wait.

The Manticore began jumping around trying to throw Applejack off of it, until it finally did.

Y/n: Step aside, amateurs.

Fluttershy: Wait.

Y/n flew fast towards the Manticore and punch it square in the chest, causing it to be stunned for a bit.

Y/n: Move, or I'll hit you harder.

The Manticore swipe a claw at Y/n, and he moved out of the way, but he got scratched on his left front leg.

Y/n: (grunt) You ask for it.

Y/n rushed at the Manticore again, but Fluttershy got in the way.

Fluttershy: Wait!

Y/n stopped.

Y/n: What do you want? I'm in the middle of a fight.

Fluttershy walked over to the Manticore, it raised its paw at her, causing everyone except Y/n to shield their eyes.

Fluttershy: Shh. It's okay.

Fluttershy nuzzled its other paw, making it show her a big thorn that's stuck in it.

Fluttershy: Oh, you poor, poor little baby.

Rainbow Dash: Little?

Fluttershy: Now, this might hurt for just a second.

Fluttershy pulled out the thorn, causing the Manticore to pick her up and roar.

5 mares: Fluttershy!

But the Manticore just lovingly licked her.

Fluttershy: (laugh) Oh, you're just a little old baby kitty, aren't you? Yes, you are. Yes, you are.

Everyone else took the opportunity to get past the Manticore, and Fluttershy soon followed.

Twilight: How did you know about the thorn.

Fluttershy: I didn't. Sometimes we all just need to be shown a little kindness.

Fluttershy noticed Y/n's scratch.

Fluttershy: (gasp) Oh, no. Y/n, your scratch.

Y/n: Yeah. Thought I'd be able to jump out of the way in time.

Fluttershy: Here, let me-

Y/n: No, I'm fine. We need to get on with the mission.

Fluttershy: Forget the mission.

Y/n: Mare-

Fluttershy: Not another word.

Fluttershy grabbed a big leaf and wrapped it around Y/n leg.

Fluttershy: There. That should do until we get back to Ponyville where we can find you a real doctor.

Y/n stayed silent for a bit.

Y/n: Well, I didn't ask you to that... but whatever, I guess.

They continued on.

Rarity: My eyes need a rest from all the icky muck.

Y/n: Quit your whining, fashion mare.

Rarity: Excuse me, I have a name and you would do well to use it.

They suddenly entered a really dark part of the forest.

Y/n: Great.

Twilight: That ancient ruin could be right in front of our faces, and we wouldn't even know it.

Applejack: Oh, wait. I think I stepped in something.

Fluttershy screamed.

Applejack: It's just mud.

They were all surrounded by a bunch of trees with monstrous faces. The five mares screamed while Y/n just kept a straight face. Then they heard laughter coming from Pinkie Pie who was making a bunch of faces of her own.

Twilight: Pinkie, what are you doing? Run!

Pinkie: Oh, guys, don't you see?

Pinkie: When I was a little filly and the sun was going down

Twilight: Tell me she's not.

Pinkie: The darkness and the shadows

They would always make me frown

Rarity: She is.

Y/n: Good grief.

Pinkie: I'd hide under my pillow

From what I thought I saw

But Granny Pie said that wasn't a way

To deal with fears at all

Rainbow Dash: Then what is?

Pinkie: She said, "Pinkie, you got to stand up tall

Learn to face your fears

You'll see that they can't hurt you

Just laugh to make them disappear"

Ha ha ha.

That made one of the scary trees turn into a normal tree to everyone's surprise, except Y/n hid it better.

Pinkie: So giggle at the ghostie

Guffaw at the grossly

Crack up at the creepy

Whoop it up with the weepy

Chortle at the kooky

Snortle at the spooky

Everyone except Y/n laughed turned the trees to normal.

Pinkie: And tell that big, dumb scary face

To take a hike and leave you alone

And if he thinks he can scare you

Then he's got another thing coming

And the very idea such a thing

Just makes you want to...

She laughed so hard tears came out.

Pinkie: Laugh!!!

(End song)

All the trees turned back to normal everyone except Y/n fell to the ground laughing.

Y/n: Get up. We've still gotta mission.

Everyone looked at Y/n confused.

Pinkie: Hey, why aren't you laughing?

Y/n: Don't take it personally, I just don't smile or laugh. Now, come.

They went on their path until they saw a raging river

Pinkie: How are we gonna cross this?

They heard sobbing in the distance, they followed the sound to see a gaint sea serpent with half its mustache gone.

Sea serpent: What a world. What a world!

Twilight: Excuse me, sir. Why are you crying?

Sea serpent: Well, I don't know. I was just sitting here, minding my own business, when this tacky little cloud of purple smoke just whisked past me and tore half of my beloved mustache clean off.

Y/n: Was this cloud of smoke sparkling by any chance?

Sea serpent: It was. Why?

Y/n: Grr. Nightmare Moon. Should've known she was the one behind all these obstacles.

Sea serpent: Well, now I look simply horrid!

He splashed into the water, splashing everyone else in the process.

Rainbow Dash: Oh, give me a break.

Applejack: That's what all the fuss is about?

Rarity: Why, of course it is. How can you be so insensitive? Oh, just look at him. Such lovely luminescent scales.

Sea serpent: (sniffle) I know.

Rarity: And your expertly coiffed mane.

Sea serpent: Oh, I know, I know!

Rarity: Your fabulous manicure.

Sea serpent: (gasp) It's so true.

Rarity: All ruined without your beautiful mustache.

Sea serpent: It's true. I'm hideous!

Rarity: I simply cannot let such a crime against fabulousity go uncorrected.

Y/n: "Fabulousity?" Sounds made up.

Rarity: Oh, hush.

Rarity bit off one of the serpent's scales.

Sea serpent: Ow! What did you do that for?

Twilight: Rarity, what are you-

A slash sound was heard as it showed that Rarity used the sharp scale to cut off her tail. She then used her magic to attach the severed tail on the the serpent's face, making him have a full mustache again.

Sea serpent: Oh-ho-ho-ho-ho! My mustache! How wonderful!

Rarity: You look smashing.

Twilight: Oh, Rarity... your beautiful tail.

Rarity: Oh. It's fine, my dear. Short tails are in this season. Besides, it will grow back.

Rainbow Dash: So would the mustache.

Twilight noticed that the river calmed down greatly.

Twilight: We can cross now. Let's go.

The sea serpent used its long body as steps for them.

Sea serpent: Allow me.

The mares used the steps, but Y/n stayed behind.

Twilight: Y/n, what are you doing?

Y/n: Just a second.

Y/n crouched down and to everyone's surprise, made a big jump over to the other side.

Y/n: Haven't done that in a while.

He saw everyone's reactions, especially Twilight's who had her mouth wide open. Y/n walked over to her and closed her mouth.

Y/n: You'll catch a fly if you open your mouth like that.

Twilight blushed a little as she gave a sheepish smile.

Twilight: (blushing) Heh. Right.

Y/n: Now, let's move along.

Y/n walked on as the others stayed back.

Applejack: Dang. That boy can jump.

Rainbow Dash: He fought Nightmare Moon to a stand still, and that's what impresses you?

Twilight: His impressive skills aren't the only thing I've noticed about him. It's his eyes.

Rarity: Do you think they're dazzling or something?

Twilight: No, the opposite in fact.

Rarity: Whatever do you mean?

Twilight: Well, you know how we all have sparkling glints in our eyes? Well, Y/n doesn't. In fact, I don't even think he has pupils.

Fluttershy: Well, couldn't he just have been born that way?

Twilight: I guess he could.

Y/n: (from the distance) Hey, you lot coming?!

Twilight: Yes!

They rushed back to him.

Rainbow Dash: Dude, how were you able to pull that off?

Y/n: I train every chance I get everyday.

Twilight: Must've been some intense training.

Y/n: Well, training is naturally the only thing I do. Up until recently, I thought I was the only one of my kind, but it turns out there are more Alicorns than me.

Fluttershy: What happened that caused you to be out of touch with your kind?

Y/n: You certainly are a nosy bunch of Mares.

Fluttershy: Oh, I'm sorry-

Y/n: I don't know. To be honest, I don't really remember much of my childhood. My earliest memory was me waking up near this big mountain in the middle of nowhere.

Fluttershy: I'm sorry to hear that.

Y/n: Why are you apologizing? It's not like you caused my amnesia. Plus, it's really annoying.

They continued on until they made it to the ruins.

Twilight: There it is! The ruin that holds the Elements of Harmony. We made it.

She ran ahead.

Applejack: Twilight! Wait for us!

The rest ran after her.

Twilight: We're almost there. Whoa!

It turned out the bridge to get there was broken. Twilight almost fell, but Rainbow brought her back up.

Rainbow Dash: What's with you and falling off cliffs today?

Pinkie: (sigh) Now what?

Rainbow Dash: (points out her wings) Duh.

Pinkie: Oh, yeah.

Rainbow flew down to the cliff where the broken rope Bridge was and flew it to the other side when she heard a female voice echoing in the forest.

???: Rainbow.

Rainbow Dash: (gasp) Who's there?

???: Rainbow.

Rainbow Dash: I ain't scared of you. Show yourself!

???: We've been eagerly awaiting the arrival of the best flyer in Equestria.

Rainbow Dash: Who?

???: Why, you, of course.

Rainbow Dash: Really? I mean, oh, yeah, me. Hey, uh, you wouldn't mind telling the Wonderbolts that, would you? 'Cause I've been trying to get into that group for-like-ever.

???: No, Rainbow Dash. We want you to join us...

Three Pegasi in black and purple flight suits came from the fog. Two stallions and the lead one was a mare.

Lead Shadowbolt: The Shadowbolts. We're the greatest aerial team in the Everfree forest. And soon, we will be the greatest in all Equestria. But first, we need a captain.

Hearing that made Rainbow's eyes sparkle.

Lead Shadowbolt: The most magnificent...

Rainbow Dash: Yep.

Lead Shadowbolt: ...Swiftest...

Rainbow Dash: Yes.

Lead Shadowbolt: ...Bravest flyer in all the land.

Rainbow Dash: Yes. It's all true.

Lead Shadowbolt: We need... (Whispering: You.)

Rainbow flew up in excitement.

Rainbow Dash: Whoo-hoo! Sign me up. Just let me tie this bridge real quick, and then we have a deal.

Lead Shadowbolt: No! It's them or us.

Twilight: Rainbow! What's taking so long? Oh, no.

They saw Rainbow with the Shadowbolts.

Y/n: No doubt, another one of Nightmare's tricks.

Twilight: Rainbow!

The leader's eyes glowed yellow as more fog came a blocked their view of Rainbow and made them harder to hear.

Twilight: Don't listen to them.

Lead Shadowbolt: Well?

Rainbow Dash: You.

The leader smiled, but it quickly faded when Rainbow got her face.

Rainbow Dash: Thank you for the offer, I mean.

Rainbow tied the bridge.

Rainbow Dash: But I'm afraid I have to say no.

Rainbow flew back to her friends as the Shadowbolts turned into Nightmare's mist. Everyone except Y/n cheered for Rainbow.

Rainbow Dash: See? I'd never leave my friend's hanging.

Y/n: Not going to lie. I honestly thought for a second you were going to ditch us.

Rainbow Dash: I sure proved you wrong then, didn't I, pal?

When they got closer to the castle, Y/n had more random images play through his head, causing him to put a hoof to his head.

Y/n: Ah!

Twilight: Y/n, what's wrong?

Y/n: Ugh, it's nothing. It's just, sometimes I get these random images that play through my head.

Twilight: What about?

Y/n: Usually, I'm with these other two ponies. I can't make out their features, but ones my size while the other is a bit smaller. Reaching to about my chest.

Twilight: Do you think it might have something to do with your past?

Y/n: Maybe.

They suddenly heard wicked laughter it came from Nightmare Moon who appeared out from her mist.

Y/n: You.

Nightmare Moon: I know what you've been up to, foals. I'll give you credit for getting past all my obstacles, but this is the end of the road, knaves.

Rainbow Dash: Now what?

Y/n stepped forward.

Y/n: You lot go get the elements, I'll buy you some time.

Twilight: What?! Are you crazy?!

Y/n: (sigh) Twilight Sparkle, do you trust me?

Twilight: What?

Y/n: Do you trust me, like you've trusted everyone else so far?

Twilight thought hard about it.

Twilight: I do.

Y/n: Then trust that I'll be able to give you enough time to get the elements.

Twilight was quiet for a moment then nodded.

Twilight: Let's go, girls.

Fluttershy: But what about-

Twilight: Y/n will be fine. I trust him. Now, come on.

The other mares nodded and they all ran inside the old castle, leaving Y/n and Nightmare alone.

Nightmare Moon: So, it's just you and me again, huh?

Y/n: This time, I won't let you get away.

They charged at each other and both went for a punch. When they collided, their punch canceled each other out, making them flip backwards to gain some distance from each other. Nightmare then shot a blast at Y/n that connected, but he bounced off a tree and flew towards Nightmare, punching her square in the stomach, making her cough up spit and hold her stomach.

Y/n: Are we already finished? I've barely gotten started.

Nightmare Moon: Neither have I!

Nightmare kicked Y/n upwards then turned to her mist form and kicked him back down, but Y/n used his wings to catch himself by flying in the air.

Y/n: Should've known.

They went for a vicious back and forth with the blocking and punching, but Y/n teleported behind Nightmare and punched her back.

Nightmare Moon: (growls) Sit still, you insolent foal!

Nightmare used her magic to summon a dozen swords made of magic energy that she threw at Y/n who tried his best the dodge all of them, but some do manage to cut him.

Y/n: That's an interesting trick, but not as interesting as this.

Y/n threw back his right foreleg and thrusted it towards Nightmare who laughed.

Nightmare Moon: What was that suppose to do-

She suddenly felt something hit her stomach really hard, making her hold it again.

Nightmare Moon: What was that?!

Y/n: Compressed air in the form of a punch. Pretty impressive, huh?

Nightmare Moon: It is indeed. Which makes me say I have an offer for you.

Y/n raised an eyebrow.

Y/n: I'm listening.

Nightmare Moon: You're quite powerful, so if you destroy the Elements of Harmony, I'll let you rule by my side. Together, I will have my Everlasting night and you will have a position you so rightfully deserve. So, what do you say?

Y/n thought for a minute.

Y/n: The offer is tempting, but I'm afraid I'll have to decline.

Nightmare Moon: Oh, and why's that?

Y/n: Because I have a feeling if I agree, you'll be the one in charge between us. But unfortunately for you, I don't bow to inferior beings.

Nightmare got visibly angry after hearing that.

Nightmare Moon: What was that?!

Y/n: You always go on about how you want the night to last forever as everypony slept through it, which leads me to believe that you have an inferiority complex. But the you need the day just as much as it needs your night.

Nightmare Moon: My brother and sealed me away! They didn't need us!

Y/n: Brother and sister? Us? The Tartarus are you talking about?

Nightmare Moon: Well, seeing as I'm going to destroy you anyway, I might as well tell you. You see, I went by a different name in one point of my life. I was once Princess Luna, youngest of the Royal Pony Siblings. My sister, Celestia was always more beloved by our citizens. They casted me aside, so I'll cast them into Everlasting night!

Y/n: Well, listen here. I don't know much about this, Celestia. But I know you didn't imprison her, the truth is she was just too cowardly to stand against you. Something I'll never do. I've never once been a coward, and I certainly won't be one towards the likes of you. I will defeat you if it's the last thing I do.

Nightmare's eyes widened a bit.

Nightmare Moon: Such confidence and pride. You remind me of somepony.

They both began to charge a beam from there horns which they fired at the same time, but the beams missed each other making them hit Y/n and Nightmare into the castle where the mares were with five stone orbs.

6 mares: Y/n!

Twilight ran to Y/n and helped him up.

Twilight: Are you all right?

Y/n: I'm fine. What about the Elements?

Twilight: They're right-

She pointed to where the stone orbs were only to see they weren't there.

Twilight: There...

Nightmare Moon laughed evilly as it turned out she had the orbs.

Y/n: Those are the Elements? Where's the sixth?

Twilight: We couldn't get the spark to awaken it.

Nightmare Moon: And you never will.

She laughed again as she proceeded to destroy the Elements, bringing shock to everyone's face except Y/n who hid his.

She laughed again.

Pinkie: Oh, no! What do we do?! What do we do?!

Rainbow Dash: Whatever we have to do, we'll do it together.

Twilight was silent until a sparkle appeared in her eye and she gasped.

Twilight: You think you can destroy the Elements of Harmony just like that? Well, you're wrong, because the spirits of the Elements of Harmony are right here!

She pointed to the five mares with her and shattered pieces of the Elements began to float.

Nightmare Moon: What?

Twilight: Applejack, who reassured me when I was in doubt, represents the spirit of Honesty.

Shards began to surround Applejack.

Twilight: Fluttershy, who tamed the Manticore with her compassion, represents the spirit of Kindness.

Shards floated around Fluttershy.

Twilight: Pinkie Pie, who banished fear by giggling in the face of danger, represents the spirit of Laughter.

Shards surrounded Pinkie Pie.

Twilight: Rarity, who calmed a sorrowful serpent with a meaningful gift, represents the spirit of Generosity.

Shards surrounded Rarity.

Twilight: And Rainbow Dash, who could not abandon her friends for her own heart's desire, represents the spirit of Loyalty.

Shards surrounded Rainbow Dash.

Twilight: The spirits of these five ponies got us through every challenge you through at us.

Nightmare Moon: You still don't have the sixth element. The spark didn't work.

Twilight: But it did, a different kind of spark.

She turned to the mares and stallion.

Twilight: I felt it the very moment I realize how happy I was to hear you, to see you, how much I cared about you. The spark ignited inside me when I realized that you all... are my friends.

Y/n was silent for a moment.

Y/n: Even... me?

Twilight: Yes, Y/n. You may not have acted like you wanted friends, but I knew when you offered to help me, and fought off Nightmare Moon to buy us time that you were someone who I could call a friend.

Y/n was silent as a sixth orb appeared over Twilight's head.

Twilight: You see, Nightmare Moon, when those elements are ignited by the spark that resides in the heart of us all, it creates the sixth elements- The Element of Magic.

Y/n: And with these sixth Elements, we will win-

Suddenly, a light appeared above Y/n.

Y/n: What the-

Twilight: Is that a-

Nightmare Moon: A seventh Element?!

Twilight: I get it. Whenever things got serious, we knew we could place our trust in you. You, Y/n, represent-

Y/n: I get it. I represent the Element of Trust.

The Elements began to take new forms. The first five elements became golden necklaces with gems in the center while the Element of Magic became a golden tiara with a gem on top. Y/n's however was a crown that had a gem in the center of it. Together, the seven pony shot a rainbow colored beam at Nightmare Moon that hit her.

Nightmare Moon: Nooooo!

While this was happening, more images flashed through Y/n's head, but they were a lot more clearer.

Y/n: (Thinking: These images.)

It all ended with a big white flash and the seven ponies were on the ground.

Rainbow Dash: (groan) My head.

Applejack: Everypony okay?

Rarity: Oh, thank goodness.

Rarity looked back at her tail to see it was as long as it was before she cut it.

Fluttershy: Why, Rarity, it's so lovely.

Rarity: I know. I'll never part with it again.

Fluttershy: No, your necklace. It looks just like your cutie mark.

Rarity: So, it does yours.

Pinkie: Look at mine! Look at mine!

Rainbow Dash: Aw, yeah!

(A/n: This is the gem in the center of Y/n's crown. It can be whatever color you want.)

Applejack: Gee, Twilight, I thought you were spouting a lot of hooey. But I reckon we really do represent the Elements of Friendship.

Y/n unwrapped the leaf that was around his leg to see the scratch was gone.

Pinkie: Hey, your scratch is healed.

Y/n: Not only that, but... I think I remember my past.

Twilight: You do?

Y/n: Yes, I-

They suddenly heard laughter and they turned in horror to see Nightmare was still there, but next to her was an Alicorn mare with a light blue mane.

Nightmare Moon: You fools really thought you have bested me, huh?

Twilight: I-I don't get it. That should have worked.

Y/n was the only one to keep a straight face.

Y/n: It did, but because we are new to our elements, we were unable to use them to their fullest potential. So, instead off destroying Nightmare Moon, we only separate her from...

He looked towards the mare.

Y/n: ...Luna.

Twilight followed his eyes.

Twilight: You know that mare?

Y/n: We have bigger things to worry about.

Rainbow Dash: Well, what do we do?!

Y/n: Leave it to me.

Nightmare Moon: It's you and me once again.

Y/n: But this time, you will not get away.

Nightmare fired a flurry of blast at Y/n who rushed forward with magical energy in both hooves, punching away all of them until he reached Nightmare and punched her in the stomach again.

Y/n: I'm ending this, once and for all!

Y/n drew back his hoof and Nightmare saw the silhouette of an Alicorn stallion with violet eyes behind him.

Nightmare: Brother?

Y/n punched her into the walls, making her barely be able to stand.

Y/n: Do you have any last words?

Nightmare just panted.

Y/n: I didn't think so.

Y/n raised up his head and at the tip of his horn, form day of violet sphere.

Twilight: What is that?

Y/n: One word... HAKAI!

He launched the ball at Nightmare and when it hit her, Nightmare turned into violet particles.

Twilight: What did you do?!

Y/n landed and simply side-eyed her.

Y/n: She is no more.

Y/n walked over to the Luna who watched the whole thing.

Y/n: Hey, are you okay?

Luna: Yeah, I'm okay.

Suddenly, the sun rose up as a bright white light came into the castle. The light became Princess Celestia. Everypony except Twilight, Y/n and Luna bowed when they saw her.

Twilight: (gasp) Princess Celestia!

Princess Celestia: Twilight Sparkle, my faithful student.

The two embraced each other.

Princess Celestia: I knew you could do it.

Twilight: But you told me it was all an old pony tale.

Princess Celestia: I told you that you needed to make some friends, nothing more. I saw the signs of Nightmare Moon's return, and I knew it was you who had the magic inside to defeat her. But you could not unleash it until you let true friendship into your heart. Now if only another will, as well...

Celestia walked over to Luna, not noticing Y/n.

Celestia: Princess Luna. It has been a thousand years since I have seen you like this. Time to put our differences behind us. We were meant to rule together, little sister. Will you accept my friendship?

The six mares stared in anticipation until Luna ran to Celestia and hugged her.

Princess Luna: I'm so sorry! I miss you so much, big sister.

Princess Celestia: I've missed you, too.

They hugged and let tears run down their faces until it broke.

Princess Luna: Wait, but what about elder brother?

Celestia's mood grew sad.

Princess Celestia: Oh, well you see, he-

Y/n stepped up.

Y/n: He what?

When Celestia saw him, her eyes widened.

Princess Celestia: It- It can't be.

Princess Luna: What is it.

Princess Celestia: Luna, take a better look at him. White coat, hollow eyes, and- can we see your cutie mark please?

Y/n showed the two his cutie mark.

Princess Luna: I- I can't believe it.

Princess Celestia: It is you.

Twilight: What's going on.

Y/n: It certainly has been a long time since we've been together, hasn't it, my dear sisters?

Six mares: Sisters?!

Applejack: So, wait, wait. First Nightmare Moon turned out to be Princess Celestia's sister, now you're saying that you're their brother?!

Y/n: Uh, I think we should go somewhere else to talk about this. Maybe the library.

Twilight: All right, back to Ponyville we go then.

They all left the castle back to Ponyville.
