Yn entered the briefing room, and a few minutes later, Ghost joined her, taking a seat beside her. Soap winked at Ghost, seemingly hinting at something between him and Yn. Ghost responded by showing him his middle finger. Price entered the room and nodded to all of us. He began speaking: "Today's mission is to apprehend the leader of the Las Almas cartel. We will send one of our own inside to provide them with insignificant information about us."
I asked, "Who will be the one going in?"

He replied, "Soap."

Soap yawned in response.

Time skip:

We drove to the location, with Ghost stationed as the sniper, Price, Gaz, and I as the assault team, and Alejandro disguised as one of Las Almas with a mask.
Through the sniper scope, we watched Soap approach the armed men. One of the guards forced him to his knees and placed something over his head.

We listened in on their conversation, surprised to discover that the leader of the cartel was a woman. She interrogated Soap, and once she was done with him, Soap was apparently taken out of the room. That's when the action began, and it was our turn to enter the scene.

We quickly made our way through the building, securing the corridors and cold-bloodedly eliminating anyone who crossed our path. When we reached the woman, we apprehended her and brought her to the rooftop, where Graves awaited us with the helicopter.

Graves shouted, "Kneel!"

She retorted, "I won't kneel for anyone!"

He replied, "Well, the bullet I'm about to put in you will make you."

And just like that, she knelt.

I looked at Alejandro, wondering why he had looked at her with such affection.

Soap asked Alejandro, "Alejandro, what's going on?"

He replied, "Valeria..."

I watched as Alejandro forced Valeria to sit in the chair. I wasn't interested in the interrogation, so I didn't go inside. Instead, I went to my office and occupied myself with the documents I had to complete. The interrogation lasted for two hours before Ghost entered my office and sat down on the couch. I said, "It's been a challenging day, hasn't it?" He simply nodded and rubbed his face. I asked if they had learned anything new from her, and he replied, "Nothing specific that we don't already know."

I stood up and went to the coffee machine, bringing back a cup for him as well. When I went to give it to him, he held onto my arm and said, "You're injured."
Confused, I asked, "Huh?"
He took the coffee and pulled me closer, sitting me on his lap as he inspected my arm. He took out his first aid kit from his vest and began cleaning the wound, then applied a bandage.
Afterward, he looked intensely into my eyes and said with anger in his voice, "Why are you so lenient with yourself?"

The atmosphere began to fill with something, and I could see a flame igniting in Ghost's eyes.

I didn't know how to respond. He lifted his mask slightly and placed his lips on my neck, slowly working his way from my neck down to my collarbone. He briefly broke the kiss as he stood up, locking the door from the inside and closing the windows with the curtains.

I teased him with a comment, "I thought I was the one who couldn't get enough of you."

He laughed, and I watched as he removed his gloves and tactical vest, getting rid of anything that could bother him. Then he came close to me, his hand gently holding my chin, forcing me to look at him. He whispered softly, "Time for some fun, isn't it?"
Before I could even respond, he kissed me again.( Sorry guys 😭 )

We both breathed heavily as I walked away from my desk and quickly got dressed before anyone could knock on the door.
Ghost lit a cigarette, wearing only his underwear and jeans. I have to admit, he looks good. He handed me the cigarette, and I took a drag while watching him get dressed.

There was a knock on the door.
I opened it and saw that it was Gaz. He looked at me with shocked eyes, probably noticing my disheveled hair and the faint love bite on my neck.
Only a fool wouldn't realize what had just happened.
Gaz exclaimed, "Fucking hell!"

Ghost shrugged, and I could feel my face turning red. Gaz noticed the awkwardness and simply said, "Alejandro says we should be at the cars in 15 minutes. We're heading back to his base."
I nodded and slammed the door shut. Ghost and I went downstairs to the cars, where we were already being awaited.

We got out of the car at the base, unaware of what awaited us.
Suddenly, the cars came to a halt, and I looked out the window to see Graves and his men stepping out in front of us. Alejandro expressed his annoyance, asking, "What's this?"

Graves responded, "This is the immediate fusion. Step away from the gate."

I looked around, confused.

Soap questioned, "What?!"

Graves continued, "You heard me."

I interjected, "That's crazy."

Alejandro protested, "This is my base."

Graves retorted, "Not a base, but a sizable Cobra facility, and I admire that. So, I am taken? You boys have been relieved. Thank you for your service."

Alejandro refused, "No, no, no, I don't take orders from you."

Graves taunted, "Didn't Valeria say that? Now, that makes me wonder what else I don't know about your affiliation with the drug lord."

Alejandro's anger escalated, "What the fuck did you just say to me, pendejo?!"

Graves grew more authoritative, "Don't do that. No one needs to get hurt here!"

Ghost asked, in a threatening tone, "Are you threatening us?"

Graves responded, "Soldier, I don't make threats, I make guarantees. So let's not do this."

I declared, "I am calling Shepherd."

Graves revealed, "General Shepherd sends his regards. He told me you all would not take it well."

Ghost's tone grew colder, "He knows about this?"

Graves confirmed, "He put me in command of this operation. So you all need to stand down, and it's time to let the pros finish this. Why the hell are we talking about this like it's some kind of negotiation? It's not. I've got my orders, and now you have yours."

Alejandro exclaimed, "And who the fuck do you think you are, cabrón? My men are inside!"

Graves stated, "I'm afraid not. Your men have been detained."

That was the moment when the last straw broke the camel's back.
