Kayla's POV:
My "Protector" quickly swooped me up like I was a piece of cake and dodged the arrow and I was TERRIFIED!
"Okay answer me this one question okay?..WHAT IN THE HELL JUST HAPPENED!"
He took a deep breath "They are after you-"
"Who,why and why now!"
"You are the destined one to hold magic-"
"Me? Have magic? Are you on something?!"
Then he said something that made me get pissed "Kayla stop being so damn stubborn and shut the hell up so I can get you out of here!"
Suddenly there was a crash so I ran out of the house and imedently ran into my Mother. Who didn't look fazed by any of the events going on.
"Dear get that man outside that house NOW!"
I was about to say something but then thought "How did she know about him being in the house?"
"Mother how did you know that anyone else being in the house?"
She then looked angry "It doesn't matter get that man out of our house!"
I snapped "No!" almost on instinct I closed my eyes. I felt as if something clicked into place. When I opened them I didn't see my Mother I saw a gray creature of death was before me ready to pounce.
As my 'Mother' leaped for me my protector managed to leap in just in time to block the attack.
He smirked at me and asked "You okay?"
I nodded my head 'yes' but I looked at him not noticing I got stabbed. I saw black spots in my vision before blacking out.
