CHAPTER 18

- The Traveler's Map... Show me the Path to Quantomania. - (Y/N) said quietly to the unrolled map when she was left alone in the library. The others were preparing Madeline and Lance for the trip.

And as before. The Traveler's Map began to glow gold light and black ink patterns began to swirl slowly across the paper. (Y/N) smiled again satisfied that the map was obeying the order. The map again magically rose from the desk and white smoke slowly wafted from the papyrus.

However, the High Princess was surprised when instead of the obvious image, a stop-motion illustrated animation appeared in the smoke.

A person's figure, with a magic staff in hand, aims an illuminated scepter at a Crystal Mirror. The glass of the mirror glows blue, before the mirror magically rises and shoots a magical beam of light from it, which shattered the wall of the castle and opened a portal in space.

- This is the Path to Quantomania. - (Y/N) whispered when the Traveler's Map stopped working again and fell on the desk. She shifted her gaze to the wall behind the Magic Mirror and sighed. - And the entire wall will be destroyed.... But there is no success without sacrifice.

In the distance she heard the creak of the library door and the sound of footsteps. From around the corner came Aaron with two scrolls in his hand. - Hi, Buttercup! I wrote these scrolls!

- You wrote it yourself? - (Y/N) asked with a smile. Aaron sent her smirk and handed his wife the documents.

- And if so, what do I get for it?

(Y/N) gently opened one scroll and began to read what he had written. The smile widened more. -Pretty well written... What do you want in exchange?

Aaron put his hands on the desk and leaned into her face with a gallant smirk. - A kiss from my beautiful wife.

(Y/N) chuckled lovingly and quickly kissed him on the lips. Aaron put his hand on the back of her neck so she wouldn't run away so quickly. Suddenly someone grunted and the couple quickly moved away and looked at Saber.

- I understand you're married and love hangs in the air, but I beg you not in front of me such this things. - he laughed lightly.

Aaron rolled his eyes and with a sigh moved away from (Y/N), who rolled her eyes softly with a smile. - I can't even spend a moment alone with my own wife anymore.

- Okay...! We have the scrolls, now.... Saber, could you bring me wax with the royal stamp from my office, please?

Saber sent her a serious look. - Are you already throwing me out? Jeeez... Okay, okay, I'll go for it, but...!

- Go, we don't have time! - Aaron urged him, before the lion could finish his sentence. Saber snorted and quickly, mumbling under his breath, left the library.

Aaron escorted him out with his eyes, making sure he was gone, before looking with a smirk and a glint in his eye at (Y/N). - So... Where did we end up?

(Y/N) rolled her eyes. - Nowhere. We don't have time for that, let Lance and Madeline's mission go first.

Aaron groaned in exasperation, spreading his arms. - And it was getting so good... But don't think I'll forget about it. I'll still get you... - he said lowly.

(Y/N) felt the heat on her cheeks, and she grunted slightly. She sent him a seductive smile. - I'm looking forward to it.

Saber quickly returned, his magical horns glowed with cyan light and his magical aura held the wax and the royal stamp. - Okay, I got it!

(Y/N) quickly sealed both scrolls, for the Chancellor and for the Jedi Order, and set them aside. The others including Lance and Madeline came to the library after some time. Lance and Madeline had small bags packed for their trip.

Zane pulled a small metal square box from his pocket and handed it to Madeline. - This is our communicator. If you meet the Jedi and make a deal, just click here and connect to us through a special link.

- Thanks Zane. - Madeline replied and tucked the small square into her bag. (Y/N) got up from her desk and took two scrolls and handed them to Lance.

- Here you have scrolls for the Supreme Chancellor and the Jedi Order. When you meet with them give these to them. Try everything to get them to agree to help us, our world is counting on the two of you.

Lance nodded and wordlessly hide the two scrolls into his gray bag.

- And the Traveler's Map? - Madeline asked.

Aaron took the desired paper from the desk and handed it to the blonde. - Here. Guard it at all costs, or you will lose your only source of information about this Coruscant.

- I ask again. Can you handle this mission? -(Y/N) asked.

- Sure we can, with Madeline, who can turn into a big, bad wolf, nothing will prevent us. - Lance said with a smirk.

- We will not let you down. - Madeline nodded.

Aaron and (Y/N) nodded and a serious expression appeared on their faces. Madeline and Lance quickly stood at attention, seeing that they had now shifted to a more official tone, between the rulers and the soldiers.

- We wish you the good luck and you will return to us back safe and sound. - (Y/N) said.

- And bring these Jedi and their people to us. Give your best so that our request will be appreciated and accepted with approval. - Aaron added. - Our worlds, both Knighton and Ninjago are counting on you.

- Sir, yes sir! - Madeline and Lance said simultaneously and saluted. The royal couple nodded in approval.

- Woah... Aaron had never sounded so serious before. - Jestro remarked in a whisper to Kai.

- Well maybe at his wedding and coronation. - Kai added.

- Right. - Jestro nodded.

- So, now that we have the information and the situation cleared up. Move on to Quantomania! - Saber said with a smile and  his tail  wagged slightly.

Lance and Madeline looked at each other and exchanged smiles. (Y/N) looked at Aspheera, who looked at her. - Aspheera, can I borrow your scepter?

Aspheera stammered slightly, but nodded. - Of course, but what for? - she pulled the weapon from behind her back and handed it to (Y/N).

(Y/N) smiled mischievously. - We will open the door in space! However... I'm afraid Madeline and Lance will have to take your scepter with them to get back in.

- Why? - Aspheera gasped.

- They have to open the Path to Quantomania when they go home. Without that, they won't go anywhere.

Aspheera clearly hesitated, Madeline noticed this and approached her, placing a hand on her shoulder. - I promise to take care of your scepter, nothing will happen to it.

- I hope... Okay, you can borrow it.

(Y/N) quickly went to the Crystal Mirror, which served as a portal between Ninjago and Knighton. The League of Heroes quickly followed her and they looked confused at the mirror.

- Why our mirror need to this door? - asked Jay.

- This is already a matter of magic, Jay. I don't understand it either, but I'm eager to find out. - (Y/N) answered him with a smile.

(Y/N) closed her eyes and focused on the power in her veins. After a moment, she opened them and they glowed with a cyan light, as with her teleportation power, and she swung the scepter in her hand, which ignited with a cyan flame in almost a second, after sending power from (Y/N) to the weapon.

- Can your scepter do that? - Pythor whispered to his wife. Aspheera nodded. - The power of a scepter depends on its bearer and the power the bearer wields. (Y/N) sent some of her power to my scepter and it now works with her power.

Pythor nodded impressed. - Cool.

(Y/N) shot a beam of blue energy straight into the reflection of the Crystal Mirror, which absorbed it. After a moment, the mirror's glass, as shown on the Traveler's Map, began to glow blue before a magical aura lifted it off the ground and a powerful beam shot out of it, destroying the library wall behind it.

The League of Heroes gasped in shock at what had happened.

- Good thing it wasn't a load-bearing wall. - Clay wheezed to Macy.

- But it will still have to be rebuilt. - she replied.

A beam shot out of a hole in the castle's massive wall and hit space, as if it had hit some kind of obstacle. After a moment, the space ripped open and a portal appeared, resembling a simple door. On the other side, only blue light could be seen. Quantomania.

- That's it! It worked! - (Y/N) announced loudly with a wide smile when Aspheera's scepter stopped glowing. - Lance, Madeline! Come quickly, I have to drop you there!

Lance and Madeline exchanged glances and looked at their friends, who were already looking at them encouragingly.

- Good luck guys. - Axl said.

- You'll make it, I can feel it! - Nya said.

- Come back to us in one piece. - Clay said.

- Don't lose hope and you will be fine. - Aaron said.

- Bring us those Jedi! - Jay called out.

- You guys can handle it there. - Cole encouraged.

Madeline smiled gratefully at them. - Thanks guys. Wish us luck!

Madeline and Lance quickly ran up to (Y/N), the latter gave the scepter back to Madeline and, using her aura, lifted the two friends off the ground. She lifted them into the air and threw them into a portal leading to Quantomania. A second after they jumped in, the portal closed with a flash.

The others walked closer to (Y/N) and looked at the place where the portal was.

- Now... We have to wait. - (Y/N) said, turning to her friends. - Let's start the preparations. Gather the troops and ready the weapons! Because we already have little time.

- Do you think they will succeed? - Jestro asked.

- They will make it... You have to have faith in them and everything will work out. - Axl told him.

Now everything depends on the success of Madeline and Lance's mission. Let's just hope the Jedi try to listen to their request.
