CHAPTER 1

(Val POV)

"Once upon a time, long, long ago well, more like 20 years ago, Belle married her beast in front of 6,000 of their closest personal friends. Big cake. Yeah, so instead of a honeymoon, Beast united all of the kingdoms and got himself elected king of the United States of Auradon. He rounded up all the villains and sidekicks, basically all the really interesting people and he booted them off to the Isle of the lost with a magical barrier to keep them there. This is my hood. No magic. No wi-fi. No way out. Or so I thought. Hang on, you're about to meet us. But first, this happened," I explain.

(3rd Person Pov)

The son of Belle and Beast, Prince Ben was being fitted for a suit. As he was being fitted he stared out at the Isle of the Lost. Belle and Beast then enter the room.

"How is it possible that you're going to be crowned king next month? You're just a baby!" Beast says.

"He's turning 16, dear," Belle reminds.

"Hey, pops," Ben says.

"16? That's far too young to be crowned king. I didn't make a good decision until I was at least 42," Beast says.

"Uh, you decided to marry me at 28," Belle says as she nudges Beast.

"Ah, it was either you or a teapot," Beast says earning a glare. "Kidding."

"Mom, dad. I've chosen my first official proclamation," Ben says. "I've decided that the children on the Isle of the lost be given a chance to live here in Auradon. Every time I look out to the island, I feel like they've been abandoned."

"The children of our sworn enemies, living among us?" Beast asks.

"We start out with a few at first, only the ones who need our help the most. I've already chosen them," Ben answers.

"Have you?" Beast asks as if this idea was completely ridiculous.

"I gave you a second chance," Belle reminds him.

"Who are their parents?" Beast asks.

"Cruella de vil, Jafar, Evil queen, and Maleficent," Ben answers.

"Ah!" Belle cries out.

"Maleficent! She is the worst villain in the land!" Beast says.

"Dad, just hear me out here," Ben tries.

"I won't hear of it. They are guilty of unspeakable crimes," Beast explains.

"Dad, their children are innocent. Don't you think they deserve a shot at a normal life?" Ben asks. "Dad?" Belle gives Beast a look.

"I suppose their children are innocent," Beast says giving in.

"Well. Well done," Belle tells Ben. "Shall we?" They then leave the room and Ben looks back out at the Isle of the Lost.

(Val POV)

"They say I'm trouble

They say I'm bad

They say I'm evil

And that makes me glad" Mal sings as she finishes spray painting our long live evil symbol, that has Maleficent in it.

"I'm not a deserter,
yeah I'll fight,
a total heartbreaker,
but yet I still can't seem to get it right" I join her as I jump off of a building passing the same symbol but in my colors.

"A dirty no-good
Down to the bone
Your worst nightmare
Can't take me home" Jay sings along as he jumps from a roof to a ladder climbing down passing another long live evil symbol except for this one is if of Jafar.

"So I got some mischief

In my blood

Can you blame me?

I never got no love" Evie joins us as she walks across a table.

"They think I'm callous

A lowlife hood

I feel so useless

Misunderstood" Carlos sings as he comes out of a window, before stealing a guy's bandana and little girl's apple. He takes a bite out of the apple before throwing it back to her.

I'm rotten to the core..." We all sing as meet up behind a fence before pushing it open. We walk through causing all kinds of ruckus. We pick up some pipes and banging them on anything metal.

"Call me a schemer

I'm just unique" Mal sings as she spray paints an M on a shower curtain before she opens it revealing a guy in a tub.

"I'm an outcast,
Let's not be grim,
I was born last,
But at least I'm not him" I sing as Jay and I jump and swing in the building. I point to some creepy guy when I sing the last line.

"What, me a traitor?

Ain't got your back?

Are we not friends?

What's up with that?" Jay sings as he picks up a teapot pretending he is going to serve the people before taking off with the pot.

"So I'm a misfit

I made ya hurt?" Evie sings as she goes through some scarves.

You ain't seen nothing yet," Carlos sings as he goes through spilling baskets before once again stealing another apple.

Wicked world..." Mal, Evie and I sing as we look over the ledge. We all run out of the building and into a group of kids.

I'm rotten to the core." We all sing as we do a dance number. Mal then steals a lollipop from a baby that was in a wagon being pulled by his mom. Mal holds up the lollipop in victory. All of a sudden all the kids scatter.

"Hmm," Mal says as she shares a look with me.

"Hi, mom," We say at the same time as we turn around. Mal and I are twins.

"Stealing candy, Mal? I'm so disappointed," Maleficent says.

"It was from a baby," I say helping Mal out.

"Ah! That's my nasty little girl," Our mom says as she takes the lollipop and sticks it under her armpit before handing it to one of her henchmen. "Give it back to the dreadful creature."

"Mom..." Mal whines.

"It's the deets, Mal, that make the difference between mean and truly evil. When I was your age, I was cursing entire kingdoms," Mom says. "You two. Walk with me. See, I'm just, just trying to teach you the thing that really counts how to be me."

"I know that. And I'll do better," Mal says.

"Oh! There's news! I buried the lead," Our mom says as her henchmen walk behind us. "You five have been chosen to go to a different school in Auradon." Evie, Carlos, and Jay try to make a run for it but the henchmen catch them.

"What? I'm not going to some boarding school," I begin.

"Filled to the brim with prissy pink princesses!" Mal finishes. We finish each other sentences a lot, most people say it's because we are twins.

"And perfect princes," Evie says.

"Ugh," I say making a disgusted face.

"Yeah, and I don't do uniforms. Unless it's leather. You feel me?" Jay says and I can't help but smirk at him.

"I read somewhere that they allow dogs in Auradon. Mom said they're rabid pack animals who eat boys who don't behave," Carlos explains.

"Woof!" Jay says as he comes up behind Carlos scaring him.

"Yeah, mom, we're not going," Mal and I say at the same time.

"Oh, you're thinking small, pumpkins. It's all about world domination," Our mom explains. "Knuckleheads!" The henchmen follow her as she walks away. We follow after them.
