Cameron

Cameron crouched down as he listened, focusing his super hearing on everything around him. "Hear anything suspicious?" A familiar voice, specifically his father's voice, echoed over the comm. "Nothing." The third Robin gave a thoughtful hum on the other side of the line as his brain began to work, evaluating the situation like the detective he was.

"Advance and avoid combat. This is just recon, remember that." Tim directed the team of young heroes. There was varying degrees and forms of 'Yes, sir.' echoing from each hero. "You heard my old man, Descendants. Let's do this." Cameron said with a smirk, listening as all of them gave varying positive responses before advancing at their leaders command.

The Descendants were a newly formed team of heroes. Who they were was fairly obvious, their name gave it away. They were the Descendants; the sons and daughters of the beloved heroes of the Young Justice and the Avengers. They were hero legacies.

When the team returned to the League after a successful recon mission, they were greeted by the familiar smiles of their parents. "Cameron, you managed to control yourself." Came the cool and somewhat rough voice of former Superboy, Conner.

Cameron looked up at his father, the man who he was so much like in personality. "You led them well." He turned his head to look at his other father, the kind man who tended to keep to himself for the most part. "Thank you." He said to them with a slight nod, his messy black and blue hair shifting with the movement.

It was all that needed to be said between them before they separated, the two men going to their shared room, while the teen went to his. They weren't the most emotional family out there, but they understood each other well with just a look. It was a system that worked for them well and adjustments weren't needed.

To anyone else they might seem like a family that needed some serious communication work, but the heroes knew better. They knew their family better than that. Tim wasn't good with emotions and neither was Conner, the trait made itself known in Cameron as well. However, it worked for them. The three were just as emotionally constipated as the Bat family, and it was fine that way.

Bruce saw this, Dick saw this, Jason saw this, even their young, demon of a brother Damian saw this. If anything, they knew it best. They'd lived the emotionally distant family life before, however theirs hadn't clicked as well as, but they'd managed.

Cameron might not be the best with emotions considering who his parents were, but that was fine. He didn't work off of emotion, he worked off of logic. If things made sense then it was okay, if they didn't well...he'd have to make them make sense.

So the first chapters will be short because they're introductory chapters to clarify the family ties and who's child is who's and all that. So I hope it was okay for a first chapter. Leave feedback so I can improve? Thanks for even reading this and I hope you enjoy what's to come~
