Meeting Bilbo

It was nighttime and my health had improved. I was lying in my comfortable bed, waiting for Frodo to come back with Bilbo. I couldn't believe that I was going to meet him! I wonder what he was going to think of me? I wonder what he was going to say after Frodo told him that I was his adoptive daughter?
There was a knock on my door. "Hello again." Said Frodo, who was standing beside an older hobbit who I assumed was his Uncle. "Uncle Bilbo, I want you to meet someone. This is Brianna." He introduced the elderly hobbit to me. "Oh, my! Isn't she a sight for sore eyes?" Bilbo chuckled. "Oh, Bilbo." Frodo chuckled as well, shaking his head. "You've got quite the sense of humor." "I'm proud of you, Frodo. I'm very proud. Are you taking good care of her?" "Yes, Uncle. Of course. Bilbo, there is something else I wanted to tell you." "What is it, my lad?" Bilbo grinned. "She isn't a...hobbit." Frodo said gingerly. Bilbo raised his eyebrows in confusion. "She is a mortal." Frodo added. "Oh, Frodo. I'm lost for words. You adopted a mortal girl?" "Y-Yes, U-Uncle, I-I did." Bilbo sat down on my mattress and took a quick look at me. "Hmm. Interesting. How long has she been living with you?" "Almost a year, now." "I see. Well, she is very beautiful. Yes, quite beautiful. Frodo, may I have a quick word with you? In private?" "Of course, Bilbo. I'm sorry, Brianna. You'll have to excuse me for half a moment. I shan't be long."
The two hobbits stepped out of the room and spoke in hushed voices. "Frodo! Do you know how difficult it is to take care of a mortal?" "It's not difficult. She gets along really well with all of the other hobbits in the Shire."
"Frodo, I'm just worried about you and your safety, that's all." Bilbo patted him on the back. "Bilbo, there is nothing wrong with her. I'm not going to get hurt. I never have. I never will." "I don't know about that, Frodo. You know how mortals are. They are big and loud and bothersome and they are troublemakers. You don't know what you are getting yourself into."
Frodo tried his hardest to convince Bilbo that I didn't mean any trouble and that he loved me with all of his heart, but Bilbo denied it. Frodo didn't want to hurt his Uncle's feelings.

"Give her a chance, Uncle. Please. I love her. I love her. I know she is different. Please, give her a chance. Please."
Bilbo couldn't say no to his dearest nephew who he loved so much and was almost like a son to him. He remembered back when he adopted Frodo at Brandy Hall after his parents passed away. All Frodo wanted to do was to make his Uncle Bilbo proud. "Alright, my lad." Bilbo said under his breath. "She can stay with you. On the bright side, at least I have a great-niece now! How wonderful! Well, I better leave the two of you alone. Good night, Frodo. I will see you in the morning." "Goodnight, Uncle." Frodo kissed the older hobbit's cheek and made his way back to my bedroom, where I was waiting patiently for him.
