Three times a week eventually became everyday when Doctor Luke found out that Cieto was stronger then he had anticipated. We went to these groups where people like me would talk about their demons and how they met, I would always stay quiet and look at everyone's shadow formed demons hover over them. One looked at me often, he was shadowed in red instead of black and his head was shaped like a medieval helmet, his all white eyes kept staring at me, I wonder if it was because of Cieto.

One day after our group chat, the boy who was hosting this demon came up to me and asked for my name. "Its...Amelia..."

He put his hand out, "Derek and the demon behind me is Ferox he's a demon general."

"I am also a fearless warrior dear child, do not forget that."

I looked at him and he glanced at me before turning his head and folding his arms. "Yeah, so who's your demon." Derek said looking behind me.

I turned to Cieto, "This is Cieto he's...well..."

"Amelia we should get going your parents are waiting." Cieto walked off.

I turned back to Derek, Ferox had a smug look on his face as if he accomplished something. "Then we should be going as well, sorry to bother you." Before I could respond Derek walked the other way.

Ferox bowed, "Farewell lady Amelia." He vanished.

"You coming?" Cieto called.

I ran to him, "What was that all about?"

He shrugged, "The less they know the better right?" I nodded and walked next to him.

Cieto never really told about his life before he met me only that he was running away and ended up finding me. I never asked too many questions, you never want to piss off a demon, that's what my grandpa used to tell me.

That night I had a dream, it was weird at first I was watching someone being locked up in a dark place and there was no light. The person was wounded and weak, there was someone watching him from outside the cell but I couldn't tell who it was. Then suddenly the whole scenery changed and I was watching a Angel staring down at me, screaming something like, "You will never see daylight, you will never see anything ever again." Then I was falling, and falling until I noticed something familiar. It was the park my grandma took me to when I met Cieto, and there I was sitting on my bench singing as I watched the squirrels play tag around the giant oak tree.

I jumped out of my sleep, but this time I didn't scream. It wasn't a nightmare I was having, but maybe it was Cieto's memories.

The next day Doctor Luke said that we would be testing me today. "Were going to try to disconnect you from Cieto, but don't worry he'll..."

"NO!!!" Wind blew violently for a moment.

"Amelia listen..."

"YOU LIED TO ME, YOU SAID YOU WOULDN'T TRY TO PULL US APART!" I hollered.

"Amelia this isn't my idea its your parents they believe it's for the best that we emit you for a trail course to extract Cieto from you in order for you to be normal."

"I DON'T WANT TO BE NORMAL!" Objects and supplies flew into the sky and began flying around the room.

"Amelia calm down, he'll still be connected to you he just won't have any influence of our world including you."

"YOU CAN'T DO THAT!" I was breathing heavily and looked at Doctor Lucas angrily, "I won't let you do that..." Both me and Cieto's voices blended when I said that.

The door closed behind me and Lucas backed into his desk, "Amelia..." I heard banging coming from outside.

"I won't let you hurt Cieto..." I walked closer to him.

"Amelia you have to stop...Cieto won't be harmed.

"Like Hell he's not!" The room felt like it was rumbling like a earthquake as the objects in the room spun faster and faster around us.

"I swear..." Luke fell to the floor, breathing heavily and his hand blocking his face, "I swear...I swear...I swear..."

"Swearing doesn't make it so..." I moved my hand up and Lucas flung into the sky, nearly hitting the roof.

"Please don't kill me...We won't do the extraction...please just don't..." I began to choke him without even touching his throat. "Pl-please...I-I don't...want to...die"

"Amelia sweet heart!" I turned around and everything including Lucas fell to the floor.

"Mom?" I ran to open the door and hugged her tightly. There was a lot of people at the door, firefighters, police officers, etc. "How could you mom..." I looked up at her, "How could you tell them to get rid of him?" I let her go and walked towards the entrance. I passed by Derek and Ferox but didn't make eye contact. I looked over at Cieto, "What do we do now?"

Cieto sighed and looked at me,"Wherever we end up, I will always be by your side Amelia..." He looked really deep in thought, I would still see the evil look in his eyes which never meant anything good...for anyone. I looked back at my parents who were talking to the police, I didn't know how I was going to talk to them after this...
