PARKLYNN POV

It was now Friday. The day of our first date. I have been working with Harper and Haisleigh on my speech and I was worried over nothing. They have been so amazing to me, and I think of both as my little and big sister. Joshua has gone to start calling us the three musketeers. I finally began to feel Maia returning slowly. I don't want to rush either of them. They need to be healthy and strong they saved my life. "Haisleigh do I really need to go shopping with you"? I groaned as Haisleigh is opening my curtains to let the light in, when on my only day off training I just want to sleep in. "Parklynn today is your date with Drayvon we need to go shopping, get our nails done, hair you name it". Man, I feel sorry for Joshua he's so relaxed and she is so not relaxed. "Fine, Fine sure". I finally get out of bed and get dressed as I wait for her to come back. I look out unto the training grounds I see Joshua and Drayvon. They are reassessing the trainees. I open my window to feel the wonderful autumn air. Thanks to Angel's enhanced hearing I can hear their discussions. Apparently, there is a young wolf who is a little to proud for his own good.

DRAYVON POV

I must finish the training for newbies today and then some paperwork for my first date with Parklynn. Erebus and Thanatos are excited, to say the least. I finally decided that if the moon goddess chose her then who am I to not give this a chance. "Okay spar in human form first then we will tell you when to change into wolf form. Remember you need to be just as strong, your wolf is only as weak as the human version". I shouted to the trainees. As Joshua and I made our rounds watching them spare I noticed Melvin gossiping to his friends instead of sparing as instructed.

 My wolf tells me his wolf is fighting him to show respect which shows me he not only is disrespecting me as an alpha but also his own wolf. "What are you doing"? I ask Melvin without using authority. "What does it look like I am talking about? '' I take a deep breath to not slap him where he stands. "What were you to do young wolf". I ask him, gritting my aggravation beneath the surface. "What I want. Why should I listen to you? Oh, because you are Alpha, when is the last time you were in a fight? Exactly run along". His friends and the other trainees stop in their tracks and back away. "You dare defy your alpha challenge accepted". He laughed seeing this as an opportunity, but he is in for a big surprise. "Let's get this started shall we"? I said not showing any emotion. He started throwing punches left and right with no strategy just aimlessly and not thinking of his moves. I dodge each one without breaking a sweat. I notice his left leg is his weak spot and decide it's time to end this quickly. As he charged me, I slid underneath him as he was midair. I grabbed his left ankle and threw it out from underneath him. He hit the ground hard, and I put my foot on his chest keeping him in place. "You not only defy me but your own Wolf. As you can tell your wolf learned no advice, no strength. You were fighting as merely a human. So, I did as well. You and your wolf are one there is no room for your ego". I grabbed his hand and helped him back up to his feet. "We are a pack, and we are one you can't let ego cost them their lives. One day they may need to rely on you and your wolf". He nodded, bowing in submission, and continued with the training.

 I felt a presence, so I looked over my shoulder and saw Parklynn watching me from her balcony window. She smiled at me slyly and turned back into her room. I have grown attached to seeing those smiles every day. Deep down I could not wait for our date this evening.

PARKLYNN POV

I am in the middle of a three-hour shopping trip with Haisleigh. I am tired and we have already picked out 6 outfits. I only need one for our date. This woman is a shopaholic let me just say. As she is in the final store, I wait outside to rest my feet. I couldn't help but feel like I was being watched. I had this uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach. I began to slyly look around and I spotted a figure behind some of the mannequins in the store. Finally, I catch their eyes. What the hell he looks an awful lot like Mica. Suddenly Haisleigh came out looking for me when I turned back, he was gone. I was startled. "Parklynn, are you ok"? I did not understand how he was there. I was hallucinating. "Nothing I thought I saw but must have been since my dear sister here woke me up on my day off". She giggled and headed back to the car but deep down I did not have a good feeling about this at all.

When we arrived Haisleigh kissed Joshua on the cheek and asked if he would carry our bags. When he opened the trunk, his jaw dropped. "You need all these for one date with Drayvon seriously." I mentally laughed since they did not know I was back to speaking yet. I pointed at his lovely mate giving him the 'seriously' look. He threw his head back laughing "you're right I should not misjudge. My mate there has an addiction to malls". I nodded in agreement as we headed up to my room. As I reached the stairs, I felt a strong hand on my shoulder already knowing who it was from the smell of pines and cinnamon and the sparks shooting through my body. "Hi Parklynn, how was your day"? I smiled letting him know it was good. "I see Haisleigh went a little overboard". I huffed and he laughed seeing I was not into shopping as Haisleigh was. "You know my little mate". That made me shutter inside. "I can't wait to see you later". He winked at me and headed to his room.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity Haisleigh was done with my hair and makeup. I was eyeing the outfits that were bought this morning and finally my eyes were laid upon the perfect one for tonight. It was a deep green scoop neck that had a low v back all the way to my tail bone, it was a jumpsuit type, so the pants were fitting. It had a gold hooped chain around the waist. When I put it on not remembering my back, I walked out to show Haisleigh. She was smiling ear to ear and jumping for joy. She asked me to do the turn for her and when I did, I heard her gasp. "Lynn, what is on your back"? 

I halted forgetting all about it. "Lynn please you can trust me". "Haysleigh there is more to me than I told you before I cannot believe I completely forgot those. You must swear on your life not to tell anyone unless it is life or death for this pack." "I swear Lynn". "As you know Angel is a golden wolf". She nodded as I sat beside her. "These here on my back are part of Maia". She looked at me knitting together her brows together. "I am rare Haisleigh there's me, my wolf Angel, and Maia my angel both Warriors chose by the goddess". She was silent and I believe I may have broken Haisleigh she is never silent. "Oh, my freaking Goddess". She stood up calming herself. "Your secret is safe with me Parklynn lets get some makeup to cover that tattoo of yours that I'm guessing when you shift into Maia become real". "Yes, they do, and thank you Haisleigh". "Well, all done dear time for that date the Alpha is asking if everything is alright and if you're ready. He is waiting at the bottom of the stairs". I nodded and decided it was time.

DRAYVON POV

I am standing at the front door near the staircase waiting for Parklynn. I have never felt so nervous in my entire life. I decided on this date I needed to tell Parklynn of my past.

'Drayvon calm down human you're beginning to sweat'. Erebus is trying to hide his humor at this moment.

'Exactly Dray you need to relax. We got this. Thanatos is always a reasonable one.

'Fine but what if after I tell her she wants to reject us or leave'. I began rambling to them.

'Enough Dray stopped worrying, the goddess gave her to us for a reason. Not just Erebus but you and I as well. Thanatos bosses.

While having inner turmoil, I hear the stairs creak. When I look up, I am in awe. She looks so beautiful and elegant. So much confidence in how she holds herself despite all she has been through. Her eyes still glimmer even though all the pain they hold. She makes me feel alive again when I am in her presence. "Good evening Parklynn, you look beautiful. Are you ready? she nods and blushes. She takes my arm and follows me to where I have a great date planned with the help of my brother of course. I am not used to all of this. As we reach the small lake outside the training grounds her eyes light up. "I hope you like it". She nodded and let go and took a seat at the small table I had set up with a meal and some wine.

We finished our meal. I know she can't talk but I have been silent as well mostly. I am so nervous I feel like my heart is going to bust. I think I am making it more awkward than needed. "So Parklynn I am sorry for being silent the whole time. I won't lie, I am very nervous". She grabbed her phone and was typing. Did I really bore her? 

Suddenly, my phone dinged when she shrugged her head to my phone for me to look at. 'It is okay Drayvon, I am nervous as well. I smiled "You are a breath of fresh air Parklynn. As you know we are mates, and you are to be Luna, but I will not force it on you. If you accept us, we will go at your speed". My phone rang again. 'What do you mean if I accept you? The goddess chose you for me. Why would I not accept you? I also appreciate you not forcing anything upon me. I took a deep breath. "Before we go any further, I need to tell you of my past, ok". She nodded. I inhaled deeply and began to tell her everything, my ex-mate, my cousin, the death of my parents, her former Luna. When I finished, she had tears in her eyes? "Parklynn, what is wrong"? She put her phone down and suddenly, a voice appeared in my mind.

'Hi Drayvon, my name is Angel, I am her wolf'. My jaw dropped. Her wolf was mind-linking me.

'Angel nice to meet you.

'Drayvon, the former Luna you speak of, is why she is in tears. That former Luna is our mother'. What her mother means is that she is the Alpha's daughter. My mind was so lost.

"There is more I need to tell you, Parklynn. I am a rare person. I have some people I would like for you to meet". Thanatos is up first.

'Hello Angel, Parklynn my name is Thanatos I am Drayvon's wolf. May I tell you both are very beautiful? Smooth charmer. Now is Erebus.

'Hello, Thanatos pleasure is all ours.' 'There's more, please don't get scared. '

'Hello Angel, Parklynn, my name is Erebus. I am Drayvon's Demon. I am not evil as you would think. I promise I never would hurt either of you in any way whatsoever. I hope you will give us all a chance.

I waited patiently for a response secretly expecting her to run.

'Hello Erebus, it is a pleasure to meet you as well. I looked into Parklynn's eyes when she stood up and walked to me. She bent down and put her hand on my cheek. Looking in my eyes I did not see fear or hate, I saw respect and care. As the distance began to close between our longing for this kiss in the last couple of weeks. Suddenly Haisleigh appeared in a frantic state.

"Hurry come quickly; Harper is shifting". She yells at Parklynn. She kisses my cheek when Angel enters my mind. 'Drayvon, I made a deal with Harper that I will not break, I will be there to guide her in her shift. Please come.' I smiled and joined her hand when she spoke again. 'By the way, this is Parklynn now not Angel, I have some things to tell you to but Harper first'. I was in utter shock when she spoke those words, but we ran to aid Harper in her first shift. She didn't even see how easily Luna came to her.
