Lucy's POV

I woke up because something was on my nose. I opened my eyes to see a tail in my face. I tried to get up, but something was on my legs.

I knew who it was immediately. I grabbed his tail, and he woke up. "I'll take chicken!" He yelled when I woke him up, still stuck in his dream.

I laughed at Rin and he blushed. Yukio was woken up by me and he looked from me to Rin, and back again. I realized what it looked like so I shoved Rin off the bed and acted like nothing happened.

"Good morning!" I said. He sweat dropped and Rin groaned in pain. "I'm gonna take a shower." I said and went to the bathroom with my suitcase.

I brush my hair then hopped in the shower, thinking about everything that had happened to me. I've decided; I'm going to start a new life! I'm not Lucy of Fairy Tail anymore. I'm Lucy of the Lucifers.

I got out of the shower and rapped a towel around my body and hair. I look at the exorcist uniform then back at my usual clothes. I said I was going to start anew, so no more old looks!

I grabbed the uniform without hesitation and dried my hair and left it down. I felt like something was missing. That's when I got an idea. I made sure I was ready and walked out of the bathroom.

"Rin~" I said sweetly.

"What?" He grumbled, obviously, he's not a morning person.

"Can I see your suitcase~?"

"No." He replied. I pouted and took his suitcase. He didn't even have time to protest before I locked myself in the bathroom with it.

I looked for something I could use with the uniform. I found a chain I could hang from my pocket, so I did. I unlocked the door to see Rin waiting for his suitcase.

He was giving me an angry look, so I threw the suitcase at him. It hit his face... oops. I walked past him acting like nothing happened and put my suitcase on my bed.

Yukio gave me a questioningly look, but shrugged it off. "I'm gonna take a shower now." Rin announced.

I laid on my belly and studied my sword. It's hilt was gold and the sheath was silver. I went to my suitcase and put my holster on, with my keys attached; I remembered Yukio was here, but he was reading manga.

I sighed in relief and grabbed my sword. "I'm gonna explore the town." I said before I walked out the door.

I summoned Krux outside of our door and asked where the nearest weapons shop was. I guess I had used up all my luck because it was across town. I thanked him and started walking.

I walked along the streets getting a few stares because of my tail, but I didn't care. I was so tired when I was only halfway to the shop. I decided to take a break and rest at a cake shop.

Wrong choice. Their specialty was strawberry cake; strawberry cake equals Erza, Erza equals Team Natsu being dragged along by cake-crazy Erza.

I saw them as I entered. I couldn't walk out, that would make me look suspicious. I went to the line and ordered a slice of chocolate cake and a glass of milk.

I went to a table not too far from Team Natsu, but not too close either. I waited for my cake and drink for a while. Natsu seemed to have snapped and told Erza and Gray what was bothering him. I was close enough to hear him, but acted unphased.

Suddenly the waiter was at my table with my order. I payed her and began to eat. Maybe I could test my powers a little. I grinned and thought of heartless, golden flames. They appeared in my milk and I drank it. The flames stayed in the glass and I played with them. I shaped them with my mind, and smirked as I felt stares on my back.

When I was done I grabbed my sword, left and started walking again. I sensed a presence behind me and figured it was Natsu or someone else from his team.

I sighed and continued walking. I got to the shop and I asked for something I could carry my sword with.

The person at the counter showed me one that was like Rin's but blue. I payed for it and started my journey back to the hotel. As I walked out, Erza walked in. As a matter of fact, I walked into her.

"I'm sorry are you okay? Hit me, for I have injured an innocent!" She said dramatically.
Same old Erza. "I'm fine, but I'm not going to hit you. I don't know you." I lied.

I walked away from her after I said that. I slung my sword on my shoulder and started walking again.

After a few minutes, I bumped into Gray. Is this some kind of plan of theirs? "S-Sorry," I said and forced a blush to my face as I looked Gray in the eyes.

"It's okay, do I know you?" He asked.

"I would defiantly remember if we met- I mean no! Nope I don't know you!" I fake fangirled.

Next was going to be Happy or Natsu. After around 8 minutes, Happy flew into my chest. "A-A flying cat!" I faked.

"Are you Lushee?" He asked.

"It talks!" I acted like I was freaking out and ran away.

They last was Natsu. This ones gonna be tough... I slowed down, and looked around me acting paranoid. I was hoping he would assume I was just a random girl that they freaked out. I had an idea if he did run into me.

Right on cue, I walked right into Natsu. Time to put my plan into action. "S-Stay away from me!" I said as I burst into golden flames.

He stared at me then grabbed my hand and pulled me up. "Sorry..." He said awkwardly, "I thought you were someone else..."

My flames went out and I ran away from the scene. Now, I was getting a lot of stares. I was only a little bit away from the hotel. I walked the rest of the way, and up the stairs to our room. When I got to the door I heard Rin and Yukio arguing from outside. I decided to eavesdrop.

"See! People are talking about her now! What if other demons find out?! She can't control her powers yet, she has to come with us!" I had heard enough from Rin.

I opened the door, and slammed it behind me. "If your talking about what happened a while ago at least let me explain!" I yelled.

I told them what had happened and Yukio seemed proud. "See, she can already use then at will. I don't think she needs to come with us."

"That doesn't prove she can control them when her sword is unsheathed. You know they get more powerful when it is!" Rin argued.

I had heard enough from him talking about me. I grabbed my sword and unsheathed it. It took a lot of concentratin, but I managed to not burn anything. I put my sword away and sat down.

Yukio grinned and Rin looked irritated. "She's better than you were, brother." Yukio teased.

Rin ignored him and faced me. "Do you want to get away from your friends and train?" He asked in all seriousness.

"That's what I've been trying to do, idiot!" I said.

He smiled. "Then it's settled she's coming home with us!"

"We have to contact Mephisto first." Yukio said.

Just then a weirdly dressed guy appeared in our room with a little 'poof.'

"Did you call me?" He asked creepily.

"Who is that? Is that a pervert?! Is he a mage? Is he a perverted mage?! GET HIM OUT!" I yelled at Yukio and Rin, pointing at the pervert.

Rin laughed at me and I shot him a death glare. Yukio actually answered my questions, "He's Mephisto our 'boss.' He's not a mage. I don't think he's a pervert. And, yet again, he's not a mage and I don't know if he's a pervert. Also, I wouldn't be able to force him out if I tried."

"Okay, I'm calm now." I said, taking deep breaths.

"So, this is who I sent you after? What is she?"

Rin got all serious and answered, "She's a Lucifer, whatever that is."

"A real, living one? Hmph, I thought your kind went extinct on the Blue Night. Well, do you want to come to True Cross Academy?" Mephisto said.

"I-I guess." I said.

"Then we leave tonight! Get your stuff and say your goodbyes, to Japan we go!" He told me dramatically.

"All my stuff is here, and I don't have anyone to say bye to. So, can we leave now?" I asked.

"Even better!" He exclaimed, "Follow me."

He turned into a white dog with a scarf, and told us to follow him. I grabbed my suitcase and sword, and we went to go check out. "Are there any mages in 'Japan'? I wanted to train in magic, too." I said.

"We'll find one." Mephisto said and kept walking.

We went to a train where we rode for hours. By now, Rin didn't care if I went in his suitcase anymore. I picked up the first volume of his manga and read them with out my Gale Force glasses.

By the end of the fifth volume, I was crying like Rin probably was when he read it. "I know what part you're at, it'll get better for them." He reassured me.

I kept reading and by the time it was time for us to get off the train I had read all the volumes he had.

When we got off the train, we walked in silence following Mephisto. We got to a boat and started sailing. It had taken about a day, but we finally stopped at a weird place. Rin and Yukio acted as if it was normal, so I did too.

"Welcome to Japan!" Rin said, "This is the city for True Cross. It's a school for rich kids."

"O-Okay." I say still amazed by the... modernness... of this country.

"You will study in the cram school, and Yukio will be your teacher. If you wish, I'll have Rin teach you to control your powers." Mephisto offered.

"Really? Thank you!" I exclaimed.

We walked to this weird door and Rin pulled out a key to unlock it. I walked inside and the hallway had weird colors and patterns all over the place.

"You'll be in the same dorm as Yukio and Rin, but you'll have your own room. And, the students already know about their heritage so we can just say your related to Satan somehow." Mephisto said.

We walked through a door and there was a classroom with other people that seemed to know Rin and Yukio.

There was a girl with short, blonde hair, a girl with weird eyebrows, a guy with a puppet, a bald guy, a pink haired guy and another guy with a streak of blonde in his dark hair.

"I thought we were in this class so we could learn more about exorcism not train Rin's cousin." The guy with a blonde streak complained.

"Sorry to disappoint, but I'm not related to Rin or Yukio in any way." I said rudely.

"Tch," He replied.

"And, you know what, I'm a m-" I was cut off by Rin putting his hand over my mouth.

"She's a-a summoner." He laughed awkwardly.

"Bu-" He gave me a look that said 'They don't know,' and I got the point.

"I can summon the 12 strongest demons aside from the Lucifers and Satan himself, so don't mess with me, Streaky!" I warned him.

"You don't even look like you can fight, let alone summon anything." He laughed.

I grew a tic mark and a chair caught fire with gold flames. "Calm down, he's just an idiot." Rin whispered in my ear.

I obeyed and controlled my flames. The class looked at me weirdly, but shrugged it off.

"We're not going to do anything except introductions and a little physical training." Yukio said taking his place at the front of the classroom.

Mephisto had disappeared, and Rin led me to a seat. He sat next to me, and the blonde girl sat behind us.

"Now, with the introductions. Lucy?" Yukio said.

I walked to the front of the class and introduced myself, "I'm Lucy Heartfilia. You can call me Lucy. Except for Streaky. You call me Heartfilia-San."

Rin tried to hold in his laughter as he went to introduce himself. I learned the girl with blonde hair was Shiemi, Streaky was Bon (but I'm still gonna call him Streaky), the girl with weird eyebrows was Izumo, Konekomaru was the bald guy, and the pink haired guy was Renzo.

After the introductions were finished I raised my hand. "Could we train like I used to? It would give my fellow students a different way to learn and I would be able to follow along better."

"How do you suggest we train?" He asked in response.

"Battles." I replied with a smirk.
