3RD PERSON POV

Y/N: So this is a picture of the Capital.....many memories huh.

Leone: Yup. It sure brings back lots of memories.

They walked down the streets of the empire, seeing everything, every place they have gone to together....every memory of a place they once lived in for a short time.

Y/N: What's wrong?

Leone: *teary* I-I don't know I-if I can see them again. I-I can't handle losing t-them again-

Y/N: LEONE! YOU WILL NEVER LOSE THEM!

Leone: H-How do you know?

Y/N: Because I am here.

She looks up, seeing Y/N with the most serious expression on her face as he summoned Murasama to his side.

???: AAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!

Leone: N-No.....THAT'S MINE!

They all frantically run through a park, making their way through the trees before they happened upon the sight of Seryu2's Teigu crushing Mine.

Mine: AAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!

*CRUNCH*

Leone: N-No.....I'LL FUCKING KILL-

*WHOOSH*

Y/N charges forward, unsheathing Murasama and startling Seryu2 who didn't expect Y/N to be running so brazenly as he leaps into the air and-

*SLICE*

Slices through Koro's arm, freeing Mine. He sheathes his blade as Koro regenerates, detecting his core before-

Y/N: HA!

*SLICE*

He slices through Koro's core and separates his body into 20 different pieces before sheathing his blade.

*BANG*

He turns around, a bullet bouncing off his skin as he turns to Seryu2 who was standing there, a gun barrel pointed at her mouth as she backs away.

Seryu2: K-KORO! N-No NO STAY BACK!

*RRRRIIIIIPPPPPP*

Leone appears behind her before ripping her head off in a fit of rage. She quickly tosses her head through a portal, calming down though Sheele looks at her with a shocked expression.

Sheele: L-Leone? I thought you were with Tatsumi.

Leone: I-It's....complicated.

Sheele raises a brow at the stuttering in her voice as Y/N walks over to her.

Y/N: Are we going now?

Mine: HOLD ON A MINUTE! WHO ARE YOU?!

Y/N turns around, slapping Pumpkin away from the trajectory of his head.

Y/N: Y/N. Leone are....we heading back now?

Leone:....We are Y/N. We are.

Sheele: Who's he?

Leone: Doesn't matter....

She turns to Mine, a bright, happy smile unlike her usual self showing on her face as he gestures to the right.

Leone: *smile* Lets head home now.

Later

Akame: So the mission has gone well I assume.

Leone2: *grin* Totally! Tatsumi did really well!

Tatsumi: *chuckle* I-I did rather well.

The rest of Night Raid congratulates Tatsumi, happy that he and Leone2 made it out alive as-

*CREAK*

Mine: L-Leone?

They all turn to find Mine and Sheele staring at Leone with a confused expression.

Leone2: Eh? You're happy to see me?

Mine: But I thought you were with me.....UNLESS-

Leone: Because I'm not your world's Leone.

Leone opens the door fully, shocking them all as she steps forward while wearing the same clothes as Leone2.

Najenda: Oh? What's this?

Leone: Hello.......boss.

All the Night Raid members grab their weapons, startling Leone as she raises her hands up.

Leone: What? I can't reunite with my dead friends?

Akame: Dead?

Bulat: Huh?

Y/N: This is a rather complicated situation. I-

*CLANG*

Y/N disarms Sheele of her Teigu before placing it onto the table besides him.

Y/N: Najenda. Bulat. Akame. Lubbock. Leone. Mine. Tatsumi. Susanoo.........Chelsea. It's nice to see you all again.

It took everything he had not to stutter before he turns to all of them.

Y/N: I believe I have some explaining to do.

Later

Y/N explained everything, from Cirvik to the 7 nations around his world to his past including when he joined Night Raid. While his pet fox and Rover were running around the meeting room, Night Raid sat on the ground, staring at him and Leone wide-eyed as they finish talking.

Leone: That's the gist of it.

Lubbock: S-So we all died?

Leone:.......Yes.

Sheele: If the empire exists.....what happened to them?

Leone: The Empire's military was completely decimated in the span of 3 days, including the Jaegars and Wild Hunt.

Najenda: Esdeath! What happened to her?!

Leone: Have you all heard of a podcast?

Mine: Huh?

Leone reaches through a portal before taking out a strange device and plays it. Suddenly a hologram appears, startling them all as colored images and such began to play.

The Empire. A superpower on the Nation of TRIK. Its size makes it the 7th biggest country in Terra, and the 9th most populated country in the world of 350 million.

Bulat: H-Holy...that's many times more than the Empire!

Tatsumi: W-Woah....

Existing for thousands and thousands of years, they have thrived on the subjugation of smaller countries, extortion, war campaigns, and more for the sole purpose of power.

Akame: *tch* Typical.

Their prized weapons came in the form of teigus, weapons from a thousand years ago made from the remains of Teigu beasts. Many are said to be in the possession of the Empire itself with the rest taken by the resistance before the Empire Massacre.

Mine: Massacre?

Before Prime Minister's Honest execution by the Resistance, about 2 years and 8 months ago a big victory came at the destruction of Night Raid, where the Empire with the assistance of Cirvik killed all assassin members and 10 million Resistance troops, leaving the two sole survivors, Leone who wielded Lionelle Teigu to escape while a close companion of Night Raid, Y/N seemingly disappeared into thin air for 2 years before appearing again.

Chelsea: I-I can't believe we all died.

Images were shown of the dead bodies of Night Raid with Esdeath and the Jaegars standing above them triumphantly, scaring Tatsumi while the others had a pale look on their faces.

Najenda: A-And they did it s-so easily?

Y/N: That's how strong Cirvik is. As long as you are mortal...as long as you are grounded.....as long as you're not a god, they will kill you no matter what.

Mine: Hold on what's this massacre?

The Empire entered a whirlpool of corruption and greed, their military increasing in power while the corruption in the Empire has increased significantly until their downfall in the year 12762 in the presence of the Massacre. The undoing of Night Raid ended up being their downfall, the event blamed to create what witnesses said a tragic monster born from the ashes of the Cirvik Civil War.....a monster of unrelenting fury, anger, and vengeance.

Everyone: YEAR 12762?!

Y/N: It's that far really.

Akame: 'A monster?'

The Empire Massacre was the bloodiest massacre done by a single entity in Terra's history. All 10 million Empire soldiers lost their lives as Y/N, who due to this event now is known as the Demon Ronin, slaughtered everyone with no mercy. A being of ruthlessness, vengeance....and tragedy driven mad by the death of Night Raid alien done what the Resistance couldn't. Eliminating an entire ally of Cirvik, decimated a massive army alone....killed all of Wild Hunt, Jaegars, and finally Esdeath herself in a fight to the death.

They all looked at Y/N in disbelief as he sat there unblinking.

Y/N: I fought stronger.

Akame: You.....killed Esdeath?

Y/N: Yes I did.

Najenda: How? Don't tell me you used a Teigu-

Y/N: I did not use a Teigu. I merely used my own weapons.

He pulls out his black and red mortal blade, the  malicious aura throwing them off as Mine reaches for the red one only for Y/N to pull it away from her-

Y/N: Unlike the black one, the red one will kill any human that tries to wield it. Yes, it's much deadlier and sharper than the regular sword. Yes they both have the essence of a Divine Dragon infused in them.

Leone2: Like a Danger Beast?

Y/N: The Divine Dragon functions as the god of its world. Yes, I fought with these blades.....but I also used a spear and gun.

Najenda: Interesting....you defeated Esdeath with your blades, a spear and a gun?

Y/N: She tried to use her trump card to freeze time. That was the only danger I was in. However, Akame warned me about her battle with her 3 years ago and I of course avoided her trump card before killing her shortly aft-

Akame: I......fought Esdeath and survived?

Y/N: You won against her. If it wasn't for a certain doctor in Cirvik Esdeath would've died from the poison.

They all turn to look at Akame who sat there with a surprised look on her face.

Najenda: So Akame has a chance against her.

Y/N: Most likely.....but not anymore.

Leone2: What do you mean?

Y/N: Cirvik already has deep connections to the Empire military. Me and Leone were sent here......to warn you.

Najenda: And what's this warning?

Y/N: Cirvik will be attacking the entire Revolution Army with 15 million soldiers already stationed here in a bit more than 2 months. In addition, the Resistance can't deploy any significantly sized troops as Cirvik will be alerted with their latest technology. Until 2 months later when we develop a counter, we're basically the only ones who will be able to help.

Najenda:.........Really?

Y/N: Really. I don't know what's going to happen next.....but I assure you my boss is doing everything he can to help.

Akame:.........Do you have our counterpart's Teigus?

*CLATTER*

A portal opens, dropping a multitude of Teigus down onto the ground.

Y/N: All of them. Every single one.

Lubbock: Woah.....mine looks a bit rusty though.

Sheele: Mine's dusty.

Mine: *grin* Double Pumpkin! I can work with this! Double firepower is even better!

Leone: Um...I'll just call you boss.

Najenda: *smile* No worries. It's not everyday I see another Leone of another world come here with someone whose strength surpasses even the Empire's strongest.

Leone: Is there anywhere we can sleep?

Najenda: Yes of course! I-

Y/N: I'll sleep outside.

Y/N abruptly gets up, walking through the doorway while Night Raid was busy checking out their duplicate Teigu.

Leone: On second thought....I'll go sleep outside as well.

Najenda: I'm curious. How close are you to this....Y/N?

Leone sighs, Najenda noticing the sad look on her face before she heads out the door of the room.

Leone: Close enough.

She leaves the room, leaving Najenda to look at her assassins who were checking their duplicate Teigus.....

Najenda: Chelsea?

Chelsea2: Yes boss?

Najenda: Was that a part of your Teigu?

Chelsea2 held a picture stuffed inside her duplicate Teigu: a picture of Night Raid with Y/N happily smiling to the camera. The second photo was Y/N and Chelsea kissing, Lubbock2 making silly faces when Leone was right behind ready to punch him. In her other hand was Chelsea's letter to Y/N about her pregnancy with his child with a photo of her posing happily while displaying her slightly swollen stomach.

Ava's a cute name right? ;) I can't wait to go shopping for supplies with you my dear husband~

Chelsea2: *surprised* 'Y/N was married......to my counterpart? She looks exactly like me........Ava's a cute name too.' Boss may I be excused for the day?

Najenda: *worried* Are you feeling unwell?

Chelsea2: I just want to take some time....to process all of this boss.

Akame: Chelsea.....tell us if you're unwell, alright?

She nods her head before heading out the door with her duplicate Teigu, holding the precious pieces of paper that belonged to Y/N close to her chest as she closes her eyes.

Chelsea2: 'What are you Y/N?'

Later

Leone: Y/N.....calm down alright?

Leone followed Y/N outside as they made their way to an open field nearby before he collapses onto his knees. She frantically runs up to him, worried after seeing his hands trembling as he tries to calm himself down. Leone pats his back, even giving him a hug that worked and calmed Y/N down. He gets down into a sitting position, taking a deep breath as Leone sat besides him before turning to her with an expression as if he was trying his hardest not to let out a tear.

Y/N: D-Do you how hard it is to control my emotions right now? To see the exact counterparts of those you considered family and they don't even know you at all? Like you're a stranger? To see the exact counterpart of your dead wife....and she doesn't even know you at all?

Flashbacks of the dead bodies of their Night Raid ran through their heads as Leone begins to tear up.

Leone: I feel the same way Y/N....I-I really do. *teary* I-I- miss t-them...I-I....

Leone lets out a choked sob, breaking down as Y/N hugs her tightly.

Leone: *teary* I-I'm s-sorry...

Y/N: *silent tears* It's alright Leone....It's alright...

Leone: I-I A-

Chelsea2: Leone? Y/N?

Leone quickly pulls away from Y/N, the both of them wiping the tears from their faces before turning around to Chelsea2 who sat down with her Teigu and its duplicate.

Leone: *grin* Hey Chelsea! I-

Chelsea2: *worried* I know how you feel Leone. There's no need to hide your emotions.....

Leone lets out a sniff, wiping her dry tears as Y/N looks down onto the ground.

Chelsea2: Y/N....is it true?

Y/N: What?

Chelsea2: Was my counterpart married to you?

Y/N:..............We were.

Chelsea2: Oh....I see.

She looks up to the sky, seeing the stars align as she asks a few questions.

Chelsea2: What was Night Raid to you?

Y/N: *hoarse* Family....

Chelsea2: What happened to your family?

Y/N: I don't know. My parents died when I was two....I only known war and bloodshed from the moment I came into this world. Night Raid was the only group besides a few others I even considered to be family........people I can love, trust, hang around, tell my secrets.....everything. Akame was my best friend...everyone looked out for each other like family.

Chelsea2: Sorry for your loss......what do you think about my counterpart? She was your wife right?

Y/N: She wasn't just my wife.

Chelsea2: Huh?

Y/N: She was my everything. Everything I wished for....wanted....craved for in my years of being alive. She taught me what it meant to be a friend.....she showed me what family was like.....she was perfect for me.

Y/N compliments his dead wife, Chelsea2 for some reason having a sad look on her face though there was a red hue visible.

Chelsea2: *sad smile* I see Y/N. I understand why it's difficult for you to look at me now. I'm sorry I couldn't do anything about that.

Y/N: *sigh* It's in the past. As much as I want to reverse time, all I can do is dwell on it and push forward.

He lays down on the grassy ground with Leone....as Chelsea2 does the same.

Chelsea2: It's quite warm for nighttime.

Leone: We always slept outside for many years and months. It's peaceful, only nature is surrounding you.....and you have someone besides you to keep you company.

Y/N: Tomorrow is another day I guess....

Leone: Yup. Just another day.

Chelsea2: Guys........

They all turn to her as she turns her body to them.

Chelsea2: I know you're all upset.....*smile* So let's make the most of your stay here alright?

Leone:...*chuckle* Very well.

She turns, hugging Y/N tightly as he relaxes. A noticeable purr leaves her mouth as her lion ears pop out from her emotions.

Leone: *purr* Good night Y/N~

Y/N: Night Leone...night Chelsea.

Leone falls asleep rather quickly, latching onto Y/N while Chelsea2 stares at Y/N as he reaches out to touch her face.

Y/N: O-Oh...s-sorry-

Chelsea2: *smile* It's alright~ I don't mind~

He reaches out, caressing her cheek as she sinks to his touch.

Chelsea2: It feels strange.....but I don't like it when people get upset. So sleep tight Y/N! We got a long day tomorrow!

Chelsea: We got long day ahead my dear husband~

Y/N shook his head to rid of the flashback before relaxing once more as Chelsea2 moves over to him.

Chelsea2: If you want any help, I'll be here if you need anything alright? Now....*smile* Good night to you Leone and Y/N.

In just 39 minutes, they all closed their eyes before sleeping, Night Raid having witnessed everything from the shadows before walking away.

Akame: So I was his best friend..

Leone: Thought I had it rough....but damn. He went through a shitty life.

They all walked away, learning about Y/N's emotional state while mentally preparing themselves for what's about to come later.

Chelsea2: 'Don't cry Y/N......I'll show you what it means to smile again.'
