Y/N: AAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!

Y/N spun around, slicing through every single Tao Tei soldier in the way. Hundreds and hundreds of them converged onto Y/N tree y he swung around like a madman, slicing through every single one in his way while making his way forward.

Y/N: WHAT'S WRONG YOU FUCKERS?!

*SLICE*

He tenses his body before spinning around as fast as he could, generating shockwaves that tore through a few thousand of the monsters in his way.

Y/N: I AM FEELING ALIIIIVVVVEEEEEE!!!!

He laughs, jumping into the air before shredding through a single Tao Tei, decapitating him. He swung his arms around, the shockwaves slicing through ruined buildings and alien tissue alike as his chainsaw continues to run at max sp-

*STAB*

Just 500 meters away, a tidal wave of tendrils shoot out, stabbing through thousands and thousands of Tao Tei while Y/N jumps into the air to dodge them. He kicks the air, launching himself further into the sky before slamming his chainsaws down on the ground, the sharp shockwave knocking thousands more into the air.

Alex: I see you're still alive...

Y/N: Same goes to you Alex.

Alex: Call me Mercer you-

*SLICE*

Y/N slices through a boulder before they both jump onto a still standing building, confused at the sight of the Tao Tei retreating yet staying just 400 meters from them, stopping.

???: YYYYYYY/NNNNNN....Mmmeeeerrrrccceeerrr....ggggrrreeetttiiinnnngggsss......

Y/N: The fuck?

???: All troooppppsssss....makkkeee way for the twwwwwoooo......

To their surprise, the Tao Tei started to walk out the way, making a wide path for them.

Alex:....Are you really going to listen to the queen?

Y/N: Why not? I'm not changing into my human form anytime soon. Might as well listen to what she says.

Alex's arms were morphed into claws yet she reluctantly follows Y/N, making their way forward. For 15 minutes, Y/N walked past countless of monster soldiers, their gaping maws filled with sharp teeth closed while they stared at the two with a curious expression on their faces.

Alex:....They look fucking ugly.

Several of them growled at Alex though they didn't charge forward, the Queen knowing what they're capable of while walking to them with her guards before they met in the center of the horde.

Y/N: What do they call you?

Queen: Quuueeeeeeennnnn.....IIIIII doooo noootttt wwwaaannnt tooo fffiiiiggghhhttt yyyooouuu........

Y/N: Huh........Let me guess....Do you want to talk to who's in charge?

She nods her massive head, reassuring Y/N as he brings out a device before clicking on some few buttons.

Chris: Demon Ronin have- Um......why's there hundreds of Tao Tei near you?

Y/N: The queen wants to talk to you.

Chris: Wait.....*surprised* They can talk?

Y/N: Maybe we can work out a deal with them you know...the queen said she doesn't want to attack us.

Chris: Wait wait hold on a minute. The leader......a alien carnivore quadruped queen wants to talk....as in negotiating a deal?

Y/N: Yup.

Chris:....I got the Resistance leaders in the call. Turn me around.

Y/N turns around, holding the device out so Chris's hologram was facing the queen of the horde who leaned her head down.

Queen: Ccchhhrriiissss redfffiiieeeelllldddd.

Chris: You know me?

Queen: The Cciirrvviikk sssoolllldddiiieerrrss tthhaatt ttrriieedd ttoo eenntteerr oouurr hhoommee 250 kkiillloommeetteerrss aawwaayy ssppookkee about yyoouuu....

Chris: Alright the leaders are listening. We....yes we got your location. How much do you have in numbers?

Queen: 10 million as of now.......9 million are underground.

Chris:......Did your voice change?

Queen: I apologize but my speaking abilities aren't fully developed. They will be in some months due to a recent strain of the Blacklight virus infecting me so I might speak weirdly time to time. However, I have conquered it so it no longer exists inside my body.

Chris: So you're definitely a lot more intelligent than we thought but clear of any viruses.

Queen: On the contrary our bodies are immune to every disease known to mankind.

Chris begins asking various questions, the Queen answering each and every one of them perfectly with ease, intriguing Y/N, Alex, even the leaders of the Resistance and Chris as they conversed.

Chris: So as you know, we are planning to bomb this area dead in a day.

Queen: We plan to move back into hiding soon. Biological and electric sensors do not work on us.

Chris: May we speak to you later? If what I'm hearing is true.....the virus has enabled all of you to have no need for substance anymore...and you're willing to ally with us?

Queen: Ccciiirrrvvviiikkkk wwwiiilll pppaaayyy fffooorrr eexxppeerriimmeennttiinngg oonn mmyy kkiinnddd.....kkkiillliiinnnggg mmyy kkiinnngggg....But yes we wish to be allies.

Chris could be seen seen talking to the leaders hidden somewhere through voice calls before he turns back to the screen.

Chris: Very well. We will be quietly sending representatives to talk our terms.

Queen: Good. We will be moving now.

Chris cuts off his connection to Y/N's device before all the Tao Tei begin to run away quickly as him and Y/N watch them run past them.

Alex:......'How is he holding that device with two fingers? Not to mention how close he was to damaging his own communication device with his chainsaws?'

Y/N: 'Damn I'm skilled not to slice my own device in half and somehow get it out of my pocket....'

*WHOOSH*

Y/N: I can make portals by the way.

Y/N marches into the portal back to base-

*TWACK*

Y/N: HEY!

Leone, Nyx, M4A1 and Siren all froze, lowering their weapons and staring at him stupidly as he dematerializes his hybrid form.

Y/N: That's my devil form.

Leone:.....Chainsaws?

Y/N: In that world there was a leech devil, darkness devil, sword devil, bow devil, bomb devil, and a lot more. I just happen to be the hybrid of 5 devils: gun, chainsaw, katana, spear, and as much as I hate it, control. But yeah that's the gist.

The portal behind him disappears as Alex steps out from behind him.

Siren: Alex Mercer....Codename Zeus, right?

Alex: In the flesh.

Y/N: She....will be our temporary teammate for now.

Alex: WHAT?! I NEVER AGREED TO TEAMING-

Y/N: Alex it's either me or getting lost in the middle of nowhere since you only know the bare minimum of the Resistance. Face it, you need us to avoid capture.

She shuts her mouth, her teeth gritting as Leone pats her back.

Leone: *smile* Welcome to the team Alex!

Alex: Y-Yeah.......*strained smile* It's GREAT to be here.

She hated the happy atmosphere and the amount of people in the room. She has to resist the urge to just CONSUME them though she quickly reminded herself this wasn't Cirvik and allies of hers.

Siren: Mercer is showing signs of stress and anxiety.

Alex: I'M NOT STRESSED!

Siren: I suggest we take a break, preferably a day or two to relax.

Everyone: Sure.

Alex couldn't argue with that at all which she hated. Looks like she'll be stuck here for a while.
