Kagome's POV

I bid farewell to Sango, Miroku Shippo and Kirara and then I departed with Ah-un. I was kind of sad that I decided to leave them. But I knew that we'd meet again sooner or later. That means I have to face. InuYasha. Maybe Kikyo as well. For that, I'll have to make up my mind and get used to the situation. I think joining Sesshomaru's group will be just fine.

Ah-un took me to the clearing we were staying at.

Sesshomaru said, "We will be going to another way before sunset."

I nodded and took Rin with me on Ah-un. And Lord Jaken just followed behind Sesshomaru.

"You look a little different but still beautiful as usual." Rin suddenly remarked, smiling.

I looked up to Sesshomaru and found him staring at me. Am I daydreaming? I rubbed my eyes but he diverted his gaze.

I suddenly looked all over to myself. I was wearing a white shirt with a dark blue jacket. My hair was tied in a high ponytail. I had my jeans on that went up to my knees.

After travelling for hours, Sesshomaru finally landed on another clearing.

After settling down, he looked at me. I knew what did he mean.

I concentrated my power and tried sense any jewel shard nearby.

"I don't sense anything. Neither a jewel shard nor Naraku."

We set a camp there. It was cold. With Rin's help, I had set the fire and boiled some water.

Rin was feeling cold. I looked into my bag and wrapped a mini blanket around her.

"It's so warm!" Rin smiled satisfied and I smiled at her and poured the boiling water in the ramen cups.

"It's so delicious!!! Lady Kagome." Both Lord Jaken and Rin said in unison.

I took another bowl and I walked up to Sesshomaru who was resting under a tree.

He didn't say anything as usual.

"I......um....I brought food, Lord Sesshomaru." I reached out my hand to give the bowl to him but he didn't accept.

Sighing, I left the bowl before him and walked back to Rin.

I took my food and ate in silence.  Rin was pleased with her new food but I was upset as Sesshomaru didn't accept it.

I narrowed my eyes and turned my head to see him and saw he was eating at last.

A warm smile was painted on my face now as I turned my head back.

I took my pillow and moved from the campsite. Cause I didn't want to disturb anyone because of my nightmares. I'm having nightmares ever since InuYasha decided to join Kikyo and insulted my pride. He's such a jerk. He told Kikyo that I'm just a jewel shard locator for him. He plans to use them and revive Kikyo just.

Sesshomaru's POV

I took the food the Priestess had given me. It was sticky and strange but I can say I did not dislike it.

After she finished her food, she moved away from the fire. I guess she doesn't want to disturb anyone because of her Nightmare.

After Rin and Jaken had fallen asleep, I went to check on the Priestess. To my surprise, I saw she was crying in her sleep. I can't help but wonder what my half-breed brother did to this sweet Priestess.

Wait! Did I just think she is 'sweet'!? What happened to me. I shook my head.

Seeing her crying, I reached my hand to wipe her tears. While doing that, she suddenly fluttered her eyes open and kept staring at me.

Anyway, Lord Sesshomaru ate ramen
Me:  *secret smirk*
'How was the Ramen you ate , Lord Sesshomaru?' ;)

Sesshomaru:  'Read the chapter again. I already gave my opinion.' -_-

Rin:  'He likes it, Jennifer.' ^_^

Kagome: 'He does.'
