Magnolia

Fairy Tail's strongest team consisting of Natsu, Gray, Erza, Wendy, Lucy, and the flying cats Happy and Carla, had now just left the train station and are now on their way back to the guild, along with some new recruits from the guild.

Cloud: So this is Magnolia huh?

Aerith: This town is amazing.

Lucy: Just wait till a holiday comes along; this city throws parties for even the smallest of things.

Happy: (flew next to Natsu) Yeah Magnolia sure does love to party.

Natsu: Not that many. I mean sure, there's the Fantasia Parade, the Flower Viewing Bingo Tournament...

Lucy: Hey Fire-breath, you're forgetting the Miss Fairy Tail contest!

Natsu: Oh yeah, didn't you take the title for that this year Lucy?

Lucy: (nervously laughs) How about we pretend I never brought this up, for real!

Erza: So Y/N. Why is it you wish to join Fairy Tail?

Carla: (flew next to Wendy) Yes, I am curious to that as well.

Y/N: Well for a number of reasons. First, my dad's shop is trashed and it's a pain in the ass to rebuild and very expensive. Second, there haven't been too many jobs in the category of demon-hunting, so I think I may as well expand my job range a bit.

Gray: You short on money or something?

Y/N: I've got quite a few debts I gotta take care of. And weren't you wearing a shirt a few seconds ago?

Gray's eyes went wide as he saw his shirt was gone, again.

Gray: Why do I keep doing that?!

Tifa: He seriously did not notice it? 

Barrett: He must be clueless as a dog. 

Wendy: I'm sure you're gonna love it at Fairy Tail. It's very lively and the people there are great.

Kat: So we've heard.

Natsu: Hey Y/N, are you strong?

Y/N: I'd say so.

Natsu: Good, cause when you join the guild, you're gonna fight me!

This caused Lucy, Erza, and Gray to sweatdrop.

Y/N: You want to fight me? 

Natsu: Yeah! That's my way of celebrating with new members!

Y/N: (smirk) Sure, if you're in the mood to loose most of your internal organs.

Natsu: (mischievous smirk) Sounds like a challenge.

Gray: You think everything's a challenge bone-head.

Natsu: You scared you pervy stripper?

Gray butted heads with Natsu with red and blue sparks flying from friction between the two.

Gray: You wanna go you moron!?

Natsu: Yeah lets go right now Ice boy!

Erza: That's enough!

Erza split their heads apart and the sounds of bone cracking was heard.

Cloud: Is it always like it with them?

Lucy: (exhaled deeply) You have no idea.

Happy: They're the strongest team!

Kat: More like the strangest team to me.

Red: Indeed. 

The group continued their walk through Magnolia, with Erza pulling on Natsu and Gray's ears most of the way.

Fairy Tail guildhall

Y/N: Wow! This place is huge!

Tifa: Yeah, no kidding.

Gray: We're not the strongest guild in Fiore for nothing.

Natsu: (kicked the doors open and greeted everyone) Hey! We made it back alive! 

The team was warmly welcomed back by all their comrades. Dante and Kat stood by the doorway observing the scene play out around him.

Levy: Hey welcome back girl! (hugged Lucy)

Lucy: Thanks, glad to be back.

Two seconds later and the entire guild was then suddenly flooded with water. The source of the flood was none other than Juvia, whose tears were flowing like an endless waterfall.

Juvia: (crying) My beloved Gray you're back! I'm so relieved you made it home!

She was completely oblivious to the comically drowning guild members around her.

Random wizard: Gray, stop you're girlfriend; we're dying here!

Gray: SHE'S NOT MY FREAKING GIRLFRIEND!!! 

Y/N was suddenly caught in the flooded water as he ends up bumping into her. 

Y/N: Sorry about that. Are you- 

He was cut off when he noticed his hand was on one of her breasts, causing him and Juvia to blush. 

Y/N: (blush, stands up) I-I-I'm sorry! I didn't mean to do that! 

Juvia: (blush) N-No, it's not your fault.  

Lucy, Wendy, Erza, Kat, Tifa, and Aertih could help but feel jealous. Juvia was staring at Y/N with her cheeks blushing red. 

Juvia: (thoughts) What's going on? Why is my face feeling hot all I sudden? His cute and handsome face... Could it be... my feelings for Gray have now changed straight towards him?! 

(Juvia's Fantasy)

Gray: I'm sorry Juvia. I'm not good for you.

Juvia: Gray my darling! But why?!

Gray: Because you've moved on and chose the new guy over me.

Y/N: Hi Juvia, you wanna hang out together?

Juvia: Oh, my new darling!

(Fantasy end)

Juvia: (blush) It will become the end of the world of romantic life with my beloved Gray! This is so embarrassing! 

Y/N: (confused) Err...is she okay?

Lucy: (awkward laugh) Don't worry about it too much, it always happens.

The Guildhall was flushed out five seconds later. 

Cloud: Are guides normally this crazy? 

Tifa: Only for the strongest ones. 

Barret: (chuckles) I'm here for less than a minute and I already love this place.

Kat: Still, you got to admit that they've keep their wizards under control.

Y/N walked with Erza to the counter where Mirajane and Makarov, sitting on the bar, were waiting.

Erza: Hello master.

Makarov: Welcome back, Erza. I'm pleased you and your team of dunderheads made it back in one piece. (sees Y/N and his team) And I see you brought some new friends.  

Y/N immediately caught eye of Mirajane and instantly recognized her from Sorcerer Weakly.

Y/N: Wow, you're Mirajane! (shakes her hand) I wanted to meet you, and I have to say, you are beautiful in person. 

Mirajane: (blush, giggles) Well, aren't you the gentleman.

Makarov: So who might they be? 

Erza: This is Y/N, and his teammates, Kat, Cloud, Tifa, Garret, Aerith, and Red. Y/N helped us a great deal in the demon-slaying job my team and I were in, and he wishes to join Fairy Tail.

This caught the attention of many of the Fairy Tail wizards who eyed him with interest; not to mention the massive sword he carried around with him.

Makarov: Oh really? Why do you wish to join Fairy Tail?

Y/N: Well my business was destroyed and I am now unemployed, so do I need to fill out an application or something?

Makarov: That won't be necessary. All we really need is a name.

Y/N: Y/N. 

Makarov: Last name as well.

Y/N: Y/N Redgrave.

Makarov: Very well then.

Mirajane: Since you are interested in joining, you'll need a guild emblem. What color would you like?

Y/N: Red. 

Mirajane nodded and went for a stamper underneath the counter. She pulled it out.

Mirajane: And where would you like it?

Y/N loosened his jacket a bit and allowed it to slightly fall, revealing his left shoulder.

Y/N: Right here please.

Mirajane then stamped and Y/N now had a red Fairy Tail emblem on his left shoulder.

Mira: Welcome to Fairy Tail Y/N. So, if you don't mind me asking; what skills do you have?

Y/N: Well, I'm a Devil Hunter just like my dad was. 

This earned a large gasp from practically everyone in the guild who all looked extremely surprised at Y/N; who eyed them all curiously with a raised eyebrow.

Y/N: (to Kat) Was it something I said?

Kat: How should I know?

Fairy Tail members: THAT'S AWESOME!!!

They all exclaimed at the same time with massive grins, earning a wide eye from Y/N. 

Fairy Tail members: WE HAVE A DEVIL HUNTER!!!

Wakaba: First three Dragon Slayers now a Devil Hunter, we're gonna be even more unstoppable now!

Macao: Welcome to the family, happy to have you aboard.

Y/N couldn't help but smiled.

Y/N: (thoughts) This reminds me of Beacon. 

Makarov: Y/N. You said you're a Devil Hunter, what skills specifically do you posses?

Y/N thought for a moment, explaining his abilities could get a little complicated.

Y/N: You know, maybe it would be easier if I show you, but I'll need a sparing partner. 

Cloud: And how are you going to find one? 

Y/N turned to certain pink-haired teenager telling off the job he just took to Elfman.

Natsu: (stretched out his arms to simulate wings)... And the demons all had wings and started flying!

Elfman: Yeah, yeah; now I know you're pulling my leg. Demons aren't manly enough to fly.

Y/N: (smirk) I know just the perfect one. Hey Natsu! Remember when you want to challenge me to a fight?

Natsu: (ran towards Y/N) You mean it?!

Y/N: Well if you're in a mood getting pummeled, then you're on.

Natsu: (grins) Alright, sounds like a challenge!

Lucy: (sweat drop) You're kidding me right now.

Kat: (confused) Umm...is Natsu serious about this?

Gray:(sweatdrop) Yep, he just wanted to get him self stronger.

Erza: I apologize for his behavior.

Y/N: It's not a problem, Erza.

Kat: Yeah, he would accept any challenge when it comes to this type of this situation.

Erza: Master Makarov, with your permission to witness Y/N's battle?

Makarov: (nod) Very well. Attention everyone, we will have a battle of Y/N Redgrave and Natsu Dragneel outside!

All the members of Fairy Tail are interested and excited to see battle between Y/N and Natsu outside.

Chapter 3 ended.
