Background: Y/N Sparda Redgrave is the son of the Legendary Devil Hunter, Dante, and the Legendary Huntress, Summer Rose. He was born a year before the events of Devil May Cry. 

After Y/N was born, his father soon left him and his mother, not willing to get them wrapped up in his personal quest to hunt down Mundus. Not before he asked Taiyang his request to look after his wife and child for his sake, to which he wholeheartedly agrees since he too loves Summer as well. And so, Taiyang did his best to become the best stepdad to Y/N. 

About five years later, four years after Dante defeated Mundus, Y/N lives with his loving mother Summer; his dad-joke-loving stepfather Taiyang; his stepsister Yang who's the same age as him; and his 3-year-old half sister who was born from his mother and stepfather, Ruby Rose. 

Occasionally, Dante came to visit Y/N and his family from time to time whenever he doesn't have any hunting missions to do. And Y/N would slowly understand why his dad leave him and his mother for a good reason. 

Years went by as Y/N learnt that not only Dante went to the Underworld with Vergil during the Qliphoth incident that happened in Red Grave City, but also Summer had vanished. Y/N, Ruby, and Yang entered Beacon to become huntsmen and huntresses. 

They made friends with Blake, Weiss, Jaune, Pyrrha, Nora, Ren, Penny, and other students and teachers at Beacon. Some from other academies. Later, Y/N met an orginzation called the Defense Force, and two members are his older brother, B/N, and his cousin Kasane. 

Y/N joined the order against Silas, former human, now demon crime lord who planned to free Mundus from his imprisonment by using the Hell Gate. The final battle between the Order and Silas took place during the Fall of Beacon as they defeated Silas, but with some great costs. 

Pyrrha and Penny died, Yang lost her arm, Weiss was forced to go back to Atlas, Blake ran back to her home, and worse, B/N betrayed the Defense Force and Y/N, revealing his true intentions of taking of the world. 

Y/N defeated B/N once and forced him to run away. But B/N came back for Y/N a few times, and ends up beating him due to him becoming more powerful than before. 

Soon, Y/N had taken over his father's workshop at Redgrave city as a Devil Hunter, completing jobs that mostly involve killing demons. However, on one job, he met a group of wizards from the strongest guild called Fairy Tail. And that's where the story begins... 

Powers and abilities: 

Enhanced Smell: Y/N possesses an extremely sharp sense of smell. He is able to pick up even the most subtle of scents and track their location with terrifying accuracy over long distances. It is strong enough for him to smell the 'opening thread', the slight pause in an enemy's movement which allows him an opening in which to strike. His sense of smell is so keen that he can perceive his surroundings through scent alone.

Extrasensory Perception: Through his heightened sense of smell and sixth sense, Y/N can perceive things outside the normal range of perception like the intentions, feelings, and thoughts of other creatures, even of animals such as insects and birds. He can also sense the aura and presence of supernatural beings and even tell their strength level at a glance through how strong their scent is. And another feature is that he could sense the malice of either normal beings or supernatural beings just by how foul their scent is through smell and how malicious their aura is through his sixth sense.

Hard Skull: Y/N has an innately strong skull, which any other person compares to a rock. During certain situations, he can headbutt the opponent hard enough to stun them or knock them out completely, in some situations even causing their head to bleed upon impact.

Enhanced Accuracy: Even before he trained to become a mercenary, Y/N possessed impeccable aim and precision. He inherited these abilities from his father before he was trained by his mother Summer Rose in the art of gunslinging and marksmanship. 

Immense Strength: Since his training with his stepfather Taiyang, his second mentor Ziggy, and his late mentor Rodin, Y/N gained superhuman arm and leg strength and has demonstrated a great use of it. 

Genius Intellect: Y/N is incredibly analytical and sagacious, as well as showing a natural aptitude and innate intuition in many varied areas. Even against opponents that heavily outmatch him in multiple categories, Y/N is capable of creating strategies to beat an opponent on the fly and in danger even if it results in his own death. Upon seeing a fighting style once, Y/N can analyze it, and it's even possible for him to accomplish such a feat even in the midst of a constantly shifting location where he lacks any environmental advantage or benefit.

Immense Speed & Reflexes: Y/N possesses superhuman speed and reaction time, being able to travel faster than the eye can see and even move faster. 

Immense Stamina & Endurance: Y/N has incredible stamina and endurance, even before he became a young mercenary, this showed when he had to train in a mountain with oxygen levels lower than that of a thick bog, dodging booby traps, running up and down the mountain constantly, and improving his swordsmanship skills and physique all while under these harsh conditions since he's 7 years old under the Demon King of Gravity, Ziggy. 

Regenerative Healing Factor: Due to inheriting the Blood of Sparda, he's able to heal from injuries at an abnormally fast pace. 

Indomitable Will: Like his grandfather, Y/N possesses an undaunted will and spirit, being able to fight and engage in battle against enemies stronger than him with his sheer will alone to protect his friends and loved ones even when he sustained severe injuries.

Trickster: A style that functions for exclusively "High Speed" maneuvers, giving Y/N an edge in the battle for speed, and adding a handful of moves.

Swordmaster: A style that expands the moveset of melee weapons. While equipped with any of his Devil Arms, he can use additional movesets corresponding to the current Devil Arm.

Gunslinger: A style that specializes in firearms exclusively, giving a more dynamic use of them (covering a large area, shooting multiple enemies at once, adding a powered-up version on normal moves, e.t.c)

Royalguard: One of the most difficult styles to master but potentially one of the strongest. Though it is time-consuming to fill up the meter, it emphasizes minimization and countering of enemy attacks. These moves are powerful enough to kill almost all kinds of lesser demons, critically injure some of the larger demons, and inflict major damage to stronger enemies. 

Satan Gravity: Renowned as "the power of the Demon King," which he inherited from Ziggy, Y/N uses this Style/Ether Gear to control and manipulate gravity itself. He is capable of changing the direction of the gravitational force around himself which enables him to stick to walls, float in the air, and make objects and people weightless to an extent. 

Quicksilver: A time-controlling style that allows Y/N to move at lightning-quick speeds relative to enemies and the environment, thus allowing him to experiment with different tactics and combos. Though he rarely uses this style in case of a pinch.

Doppelganger: A shadow-controlling style that allows Y/N to create copies of himself to assist in battle. Though he can create an after-image, the Doppelganger consumes his demonic powers as if Y/N was in Devil Trigger; this also prevents him from using Devil Trigger for himself. But makes up for the drawback when his Doppelganger wields the Devil Arm and firearm Y/N had equipped when it was created and performs whichever moves he uses.

Overdrive: By allowing an Ether Gear's power to flow throughout his entire body, an Ether Gearist can acquire a massive boost to Y/N's capabilities as well as being able to achieve feats with his Ether Gear he normally wouldn't have been able to.

Wormhole: A Style he will attain sometime. Using this, he is able to create wave-like portals to far away locations. 

Human Torch: Y/N can light his body on fire to enhance himself, as well as all of his attacks. 

Electricity Manipulation: Learned it from Trish, Y/N uses this lightning to augment his kicks and punches. He can fire this lighting as well as channel into various physical objects, like his guns, or rockets. He can also transfer her electricity to others.
