You run as you try to find your friend.

Y/N: Where is she...

Vice: I hope she's alright.

Y/N: We need to find her. If Neo's after her, she could be in danger.

You continue to run but find no trace of the girl.

You find yourself at the entrance of a large manor.

Y/N: Maybe she's here.

Vice: Creepy...

You enter and the doors close behind you.

??????: So... You're here...

You aim your Ohinbuster in gun position and staring down the barrel was an old friend... Pyrrha Nikos...

Pyrrha: Y/N...

You keep the weapon aimed at the red haired girl.

Y/N: You're not Pyrrha... The real Pyrrha is dead. You're one of Neo's illusions.

Pyrrha: Can an illusion do this?

She knocks the weapon out of your hand and goes for a punch. You expect this however and kick upward with all your strength, shattering the fake Pyrrha. You call out into the darkness.

Y/N: Neo! You're Semblance won't mess with me!

?????: What makes you so sure?

You find Penny looking at you.

Penny: Our deaths are because of you and Ruby.

Y/N: No... Their deaths are because of people like you, Neo. People like Cinder. Salem and Giff.

You grab the Ohinbuster and slash the fake Penny, dispersing her.

????????: Are you saying that because that's what you believe? Or is it what you're trying to convince yourself?

Ironwood appears next and considering your last encounter with the general, you blast away the fake just as quickly.

Y/N: Stop hiding, you damn psycho! And enough of these games!

?????: Looking for Ruby?

Ozpin shows up next.

Ozpin: She's... Preoccupied at the moment.

He smacks you with his cane. Pyrrha appears again and tries to slice you with her spear, cutting your shirt.

Y/N: If you don't let her go...

You put on your Driver.

Y/N: I'll tear this entire manor down if I have to.

You transform and kick Pyrrha into shards and Ozpin goes to attack again but Vice suplexes the copy of your old headmaster. Ironwood and Lionheart appear this time.

Vice: This is getting old!

You change forms and freeze the two copies as Vice throws his shield through them. Penny appears with her swords ready.

Penny: Are you seriously going to ignore the blood on your hands?

Olteca steps into view.

Olteca: This one was fed to Giff because of you.

Revi: Olteca did that to himself!

Combine!
Burst Up! Revice! We Are! Revice!

You blast Olteca with flames and Vice freezes Penny. The two are then replaced by...

Daniel: Y/N...

You stare at the copy of your teammate.

Daniel: I sacrificed myself for you and the others.

You clench your fists.

Revi: Enough!

Vice Up!

Rolling Rider Punch!

You punch Daniel and blast a hole in the wall.

Revice: That's enough!!!

You run through the manor, eventually finding Ruby fending off Neo and her illusions, including a face you haven't seen since Beacon, Roman Torchwick.

Revice: Get away from her!

You charge at the illusions and stand between them and Ruby.

Ruby: Y/N...

Revice: Ruby, I'm sorry we didn't stop to think about how you feel. I should've known that everything was piling on your shoulders. I should've noticed it sooner.

Roman: How touching.

You suddenly get blindsided by an illusion of Daniel.

Roman: Now...

Neo places a teacup in front of Ruby.

Revice: Ruby!

More of Neo's illusions pin you down. Ruby stares at the tea only for Neo to get blasted away. The Curious Cat runs in.

Cat: Ruby! Are you alright?

Ruby rolls onto her back as tears run down her face.

Ruby: I just... Don't want to be Ruby Rose anymore...

Cat: You don't need to worry...

The cat climbs onto her chest.

Cat: I can be you for you.

Its paws phase into Ruby's chest and she screams in pain.

Revice: What are you doing?!

You run at them but the cat tries to blast you with a beam from its mouth, knocking you out of your transformation.

Cat: My purpose. When a poor little heart is broken, I can fill it with my own. I'm afraid I haven't been honest with you. I'm not like other Afterans here. I'm cursed with curiosity. I need to know everything! But more than anything, I want to know WHY my creators left me here! Only to leave and mak- Ow!

Little bites the cat's tail.

Little: You're not a friend!

The Cat smacks the mouse away with its tail. Neo runs in and the cat attacks again, only to attack an illusion while the real Neo smacks it away.

Little: Ruby! We need to go!

Neo stomps on Little and pushes the tea back to Ruby.

Roman: Now... Ready to admit the world would be better off without you?

Y/N: Shut your mouth!

You surprise Neo with a punch to her face, causing the illusion Roman to vanish.

But unfortunately, Ruby has already drank the tea just as the others arrive.

Yang: Ruby?

The ground opens beneath Ruby, taking her, Little, and Crescent Rose into the earth. Vines cover the hole and you stare in shock.

Cat: No! No no no! I needed her!

It runs up and claws at the vines. Jaune points his sword at the Cat.

Jaune: Take us to her!

Cat: You don't get it. It's not a place you go. It's a place you know.

It blasts Jaune away and grows, its colors changing to black and white. It pounces at Neo with a grin.

Cat: You've lost something most important. And now you have nothing left. A perfect host!

The Cat forces open Neo's mouth and begins to climb inside.

Jaune: No!

You and Jaune run forward to stop it but too late. The Cat successfully climbs possesses Neo.

Cat: I'm quite tired of your stories.

The Cat examines its stolen body.

Cat: This host will do.

It uses Neo's Semblance and its own power to blast through a wall, flying towards the Tree.
