You look up at the giant tree of the Ever After.

Blake: The tree...

Weiss: So what? We find Alyx? Go to the tree? Yang's still missing her arm and Ruby, you don't have Crescent Rose.

Little: The Jinxy Peddler probably has that.

Little jumps in fear but explains.

Little is still asleep and you sigh.

Y/N: We need to hurry...

Blake: We can't make the same mistakes Alyx did.

You lead the group through the bazaar and find the talking raccoon selling a rabbit doll covered in diamonds.

Blake: The Jinxy Peddler stole Alyx's knife and they asked her for her happiest memory and her saddest.

Jinxy: Sold for a hug!

You walk up and notice a golden staff.

Vice: That's Yang's arm! I can tell!

Jinxy: Next item is this golden staff!

Yang and a living toy soldier speak at the same time.

Yang & Soldier: ME!

Yang: Huh?

Jinxy: Bidding starts at... Knowing what it is to feel loved.

Yang thinks for a moment but the soldier holds out a parchment.

Soldier: By royal decree!

He holds it up. It reads "BY HIS ROYAL HIGHNESS'S DECREE, TO BE PAID THE SUM." Followed by "Whatever Jinxy wants."

Jinxy: Sold!

Yang: That's MY arm!

Soldier: Whatever it is, it's royal property now. No price is too high on his majestry's birthday.

Yang's eyes turn red.

Yang: Okay, Blake, we tried things your way...

Jinxy: Lastly is this jade marionette!

Blake shuffles her feet nervously.

Jinxy: You!

Jinxy points at Ruby who has her hand up.

Weiss: Ruby what are you doing?

Jinxy: The price is...

The raccoon pulls out a jar.

Jinxy: Enough hope to fill this jar!

Ruby lowers her hand.

Jinxy: Not enough it seems.

You look at the green puppet.

Vice: That smells like...

Y/N: What about a memory of a loved one? Will you take that?

Ruby: What?

Weiss: Y/N, you can't just give your memories away!

Jinxy looks you in the eyes but before he can answer...

Jinxy: Hey! Don't touch that until the sale is done!

Little is trying to take the marionette but it turns into one of Penny's Maiden powered swords.

Vice: No... How did that get here?

You look at Ruby and see her eyes widen.

The items Jinxy sold turn back into their original forms. The diamond encrusted rabbit becomes a talking mouse, like Little, and the gold scepter turns back into Yang's prosthetic.

Yang: Give me that!

She and the soldier fight for the arm until Yang blasts him with her gauntlet. Ruby clutches Penny's sword and sobs.

Y/N: W-We need to go... Now!

The group runs away from the scene and reach a red forest.

Yang: Man... Those guys take auctions way too seriously... High five?

Blake and Weiss walk passed her.

Blake: We're making the same mistakes Alyx did. We're ruining everything!

Y/N: That is the least of our problems right now.

You look at Ruby and she holds Penny's sword like her life depends on it.

Ruby: It's like I was drawn to it...

Thunder can be heard overhead again as it starts raining.

Weiss: And now it's raining...

Soldier 1: Over here! Someone's sad!

Ruby: Blake... What did Alyx do next?

The sky clears up.

Blake: She went to the castle and beat the Red King at his own game.

The two soldiers from the auction arrive at the scene with more in tow.

Soldier 2: Halt! Hands up, birthday ruiners!

Yang: Okay...

She readies her weapons and the soldiers step back in fear.

Ruby: We... Want to go to the birthday party...

She stands up.

Ruby: We want to go to the birthday party!

Soldier 1: Too bad! W-Wait... We'll take you to the castle anyway... For stealing royal property!

Ruby: What if we offer something better?

She holds out Penny's sword and the rest of Team RWBY look in shock.

Ruby: This sword belonged to a powerful warrior. But not just a warrior... The most powerful person to have ever lived. She was touched by magic, and she gave her life to save thousands. She took a message of hope to the stars, and she saw the world through better eyes... Take us to the royal birthday and let us present this most precious gift...

The soldiers are moved to tears and hearing Ruby speak so highly of Penny makes you angry. Angry towards Cinder... Salem... Giff... And yourself for not being able to save her.

Soldier 1: You heard her, men! We have a birthday to celebrate!

The soldiers begin to lead your group as you head towards the Red King's castle.
