We open the morning after the forming of teams. You wake up to find Emily, August, and Daniel already up and decorating the dorm room.

Emily: Oh, hey. We got up a bit early so we decided to unpack.

Y/N: Oh. I better get my stuff unpacked.

You get up and pick up your bags before you start unpacking your stuff, putting your clothes away, putting away books, and finishing off with a picture of you and the rest of the L/N family in front of the bathhouse.

Y/N: Alright.

Daniel looks at his watch.

Daniel: Just in time too. Clases start in about 30 minutes. Shall we get going?

Vice: What about breakfast?!

Y/N: Vice, calm down.

The group leave your dorm and get to the class of Professor Port. You sit a while until you suddenly hear a loud crash and teams RWBY and JNPR walk into the room. Ruby sits beside you and you lean over.

Y/N: Ran a bit late?

Ruby: Yeah...

You listen as Professor Port talks on and on. Vice pops up and groans.

Vice: This guy's so dull!

You ignore your Demon and listen as Port continues.

Port: Now which of you believe you're capable as a true Huntsman?

Weiss immediately raises her hand.

Weiss: I do, Sir.

Port: Very well. Ready yourself and prepare to face your opponent.

He gestures to a cage where you see the eyes of a Grimm. Weiss leaves the room and returns a bit later in her regular clothes with her rapier at the ready.

Port: Good luck!

He breaks the lock on the cage as a boar-like Grimm jumps out. Weiss dodges as the beast charges and tries to find an opening.

Ruby: Weiss! Go for its belly! There's no armo-

Weiss: Stop telling me what to do!

You look between the girls as Weiss manages to knock the Grimm on its back before stabbing it through the stomach.

Port: Well done! Pay attention everyone, and you will all be true Huntsmen in no time!

Classes soon end and you walk with your team.

August: How did he even catch a Grimm?

Emily: Who knows... He was kinda weird though.

You notice Weiss standing alone and stop.

Daniel: Y/N?

You turn back to your team.

Y/N: Oh! You guys go ahead. I'll meet you back at the dorms.

The trio leaves as you approach Weiss.

Y/N: Hey. No team?

Weiss: Oh. What do you want?

Y/N: I noticed how you acted around Ruby in Port's class. You're upset that you aren't team RWBY's leader.

This catches the heiress off guard.

Weiss: H-How did you-

Y/N: I'm good at reading people.

You sit down and pat the ground beside you. Weiss hesitates but sits down.

Y/N: Listen... I don't know much about you, Weiss. But I can tell you are a person who takes great pride in yourself. But with pride comes arrogance.

Weiss: Hey!

Y/N: My point is... Don't let your pride in your strength get in the way of you and your team. Being a leader isn't everything.

Weiss: Easy for you to say.

Y/N: Honestly, I didn't even ask for the leader role on my team. That's just how the chips fell. We all got to play with the hand we're dealt.

Weiss: ...

Your Gundephone rings and you answer it.

Y/N: Yeah?

August: Y/N, we've got a Deadman attack down in Vale.

Y/N: On my way.

You hang up and stand.

Y/N: If you can't be leader, be the best teammate your team could ask for. Mull it over.

You run out of the school building and see smoke in the distance.

Y/N: Vice, let's go!

You put on the Revice Driver and pull out the Eagle Vistamp.

Eagle!

Y/N: Henshin!

Buddy Up! Eagle! (Eagle!)

The two of you transform and Vice laughs.

Vice: Time to fly!

Remix! Buddy Up!

You hop on Vice's shoulders and the two of you change into Eagle's Remix form before flying towards the smoke. You land to see Julio with a new Deadman.

Revi: Oi!

Eagle Stamping Finish!

You fly at them but Julio catches you and slams Vice and you into the ground.

Vice: Gah!

Julio: You've been getting in our way. Buzz off!

He aims his tumpet-like gun at you and shoots fireballs. But by pressing the Eagle Vistamp again, you spin and create a tornado to block the attack. Julio chuckles and rushes you, trying to leave no opening for you to counter.

August: Y/N!

The rest of Team JADE as well as some Fenix operatives run up with weapons ready.

Julio: A party huh? Fine.

He holds up a Vistamp and presses it into the ground.

Junior!

This creates a small army of mooks.

Emily: We'll handle these guys! Go deal with the Deadman!

Revi: Right! Vice, let's go!

Vice: You got it.

You remove the Eagle Vistamp and hold up another one.

Megalodon!

You stamp it on the Revice Driver and get ready.

Come on! Megalodon!
Come on! Megalodon!

Buddy Up! Moguru dondon! Yoidon! Dobon! Megalodon! Torisugari no hu-hu-hu-hunter!

You and Vice transform once again.

Revi

Vice

Vice: You'll remember this!

Revi: Let's do this in one shot!

The two of you rush Julio and the Deadman and slash at them with your new arm blades while the others fight the mooks.

August: Time to get serious!

August uses his Semblance to release a sonic sound blast, destroying several of the monsters.

Daniel: I'll lay down my life to protect the world!

He jumps up and sticks to a building by his feet before jumping down and kicking a mook in the face and blasting more with his Gundephone.

Emily: This is my strength!

Her arms and legs are coated in her Aura as she beats several mooks down.

Back to your fight, Vice goes after the Deadman while you face Julio.

Revi: Why are you hurting innocent people?!

Julio: Humanity's flawed and Lord Giff will lead us to a better future!

He shoots you point blank and Vice runs over.

Vice: You alright, Y/N?

Revi: Yeah. Let's Remix!

Remix! Buddy Up! Hissatsu! Nan-ton? Megaton! Megalodon!

You dodge Julio's next barrage of attacks and slam him into a wall.

Revi: Never underestimate the L/N family!

Julio de-transforms and glares at you as you turn your attention to the Deadman.

Julio: This isn't over...

With that the sombrero wearing man vanishes.

Megalodon Stamping Finish!

The Revice Megalodon bites down on the Deadman and slams into the ground before you and Vice separate.

Vice: 3! 2! 1! MegaloDON!!!

The Deadman explodes and your team finish off the mooks.

Vice: Alright! We were awesome!

Daniel: We don't know where the Vistamp is... Which means its contract holder is still out there...

You de-transform.

Y/N: We'll do what we have to.

August: But for now, we have to get back to Beacon.

The team takes an airship back to Beacon and go to the dorms. As you walk by Team RWBY's room, you hear Weiss talking to someone.

Weiss: I will be the best teammate you'll ever have.

This makes you smile a bit.

Vice: Looks like she took your advice after all.

Meanwhile... The Deadmans are sitting around their hideout. Aguilera humming while kicking her legs.

Olteca: That Revi... He is going to be more of a problem then first anticipated...

Aguilera leans back in her seat.

Aguilera: It doesn't matter... As long as Giff-sama still returns, it doesn't matter who tries getting in our way.
