Y/N: Don't worry. We should be able to take Olteca down ourselves. Just take it easy.

You leave Daniel alone and your Gundephone rings. You check the caller ID to see it's Weiss.

Y/N: Weiss?

You answer.

Y/N: Hello?

Weiss: Hey. We arrived in Argus. We're with Jaune and the others.

Y/N: I'll head right there.

You run off and reach the Cotta-Arc household, where Weiss and Yang fawn over Terra and Sapphron's son, Adrian. When Weiss sees you, she hugs you tightly.

Weiss: I'm glad you're back on your feet.

Yang: And here I thought you were going to have to start playing nurse.

Y/N: Don't you start.

Yang: Hehe. Emi's right. You are fun to tease.

Ruby: Where is Emily anyway?

August: She left kind of early this morning.

Y/N: Weird... Emily's not normally a morning person.

Meanwhile... Emily finds Aguilera in an abandoned warehouse.

Aguilera: How'd you find me?

Emily: Vice isn't the only Demon we have that can sniff people out.

Lovekov pops up beside her.

Suddenly, Julio walks in.

Julio: I'm fine. But you can call me Lyon.

Aguilera: So why are you here?

Emily: To form an alliance.

This catches the former cultists off guard.

Aguilera: Eh?

Emily: Olteca is a problem for both of us. Why not help us take him down?

Aguilera taps her chin with her pointer finger.

Aguilera: ... Hm... Fine. On one condition. We get to keep the Giff Stamp.

Emily: ... Deal...

Back to your group, you listen as Ruby explains what happened after splitting up. The spirit in the lamp, Djinn, Ozpin and Salem's history, and probably the most concerning news... Salem can't be destroyed.

Nora: How do we fight something like that?

Jaune pins Oscar to a wall.

Jaune: Start talking! Why hide this!?

Ruby: Jaune, stop! Oz won't come out!

Jaune: What if he's listening in? Salem can't be killed! He's sent a bunch of students on a suicide mission!

You grab Jaune and force him away from Oscar.

Y/N: That's enough! You think Oscar asked for any of this?

Blake runs over and checks Oscar for any injuries.

Y/N: Even if Salem can't be destroyed, that doesn't mean she can't be stopped.

Jaune: Bu-

Y/N: We don't have to destroy her to stop her.

Ruby: Y/N's right. We'll figure something out.

Vice: Hell yeah!

George: Y/N, can we talk in private?

Meanwhile... Daniel returns home from grocery shopping with Chiaki.

He looks around and finds a note.

Daniel rips the paper.

Daniel: That bastard!

Chiaki: We'll going together.

The two start looking for Olteca and find him with Daniel's mother chained to a pole at an abandoned warehouse.

Chiaki readies her weapon, changing it into its bow form.

Olteca: There you are.

Daniel: Give my mother back!

Olteca: Very well if you can get to her in time.

He holds up the Giff Stamp.

Daniel: No!

Chiaki is quick to react, shooting the stamp out of Olteca's hand.

Chiaki: Go! I'll keep him busy!

Chiaki starts shooting at Olteca, who hides, as Daniel goes to untie his mom. When his back is turned, he hears Chiaki scream. Your teammate turns to see Olteca holding Chiaki in a choke hold and he's recovered the Giff Stamp. Before Daniel can react, the cultist stamps Chiaki.

Daniel: Chiaki!!!

Chiaki starts to turn to stone and tears well up in her eyes.

Chiaki: D-Daniel... I love... You...

Chiaki's body shatters as a Giffterian is born. Olteca gives a sadistic smirk.

Olteca: What a tragedy.

Daniel glares at him and pulls out the Demons Driver, the only emotion going through him now being pure rage.

Daniel: I will lay down my life... TO CRUSH YOU!!!

Spider!
Deal!

The Giffterian tries to attack but the spider from Daniel's transformation sequence blocks it.

Daniel: HENSHIN!!!

Decide Up! Kamen! (Rider) Demons!

Daniel transforms and screams in pain as the Giffterian runs at him.

Demons: Demons Driver... My life is yours to take!

He rushes at the demon and Olteca summons Giff Juniors to overwhelm him. Fortunately, help arrives.

Y/N: Daniel, we'll handle Olteca and the Juniors. The Giffterian is all yours.

Demons: Thanks! And sorry!

Buddy Up! Kamen Rider! Revi! Vice! Revice!

Liberal Up! J-J-J-Jeanne!

You transform and perform an axe kick on a Junior's head while Vice piledrives another. Emily transforms and jumps onto a demonic mook's shoulders and snaps its neck with her legs.

Vice: Damn!

Revi: Vice! Let's go!

Vice: Alright! Time for a Revice Style Showcase!

Megalodon!

You transform into Megalodon Genome and start tearing mooks apart in a flurry of slashes before pulling out the Eagle Vistamp.

Eagle!

You change forms a second time and fly around, striking enemies before engulfing them in a massive tornado.

Ptera!

You change once more and hop on Vice's hoverbike form before spinning around and steamrolling more Juniors. You hop off and speed around and change forms in the middle of a roll.

Mammoth!

In Mammoth Genome, you throw your boomerang blades as they fly around you, slicing at anything that gets too close.

Lion!

With another change, you pelt the opponents with flaming strikes until you Remix.

Remix! Buddy Up!

In Remix Lion form, you and Vice let out a roar that destroys another group of demons.

Jackal!

You and Vice jump out of the resulting explosion in Jackal Genome and skate around before you kick Vice at a monster.

Kong!

You change forms once again and Vice changes mid flight to catch two Juniors in a clothesline.

Kamakiri!

You change yet again and shoot away with your bow weapon.

Brachio!

With yet another change, you and Vice knock down most of the enemies around you.

Olteca: Impressive as always. But I have no intention of ending up like Julio.

Lyon: End up like who?

Olteca turns to see his former comrade before Aguilera flies at him in her Deadman form. Olteca transforms into his Deadman form before she tackles him.

Aguilera: Give Giff back to me!

Barid Rex!

You transform into your Barid Rex form and help Aguilera, blocking Olteca's attacks with ice and letting her shoot energy stingers at him. Meanwhile, Daniel pummels the Giffterian with no mercy.

Spider!

Daniel hesitates for a minute, memories of him and Chiaki running through his mind.

Daniel's Thoughts: Chiaki...

He snaps out of his thoughts and stamps the front of his Driver with the Spider Stamp.

Charge!

Demons: I will make sure Chiaki's soul can rest in peace!

Demons Finish!

The Giffterian runs at him and he pulls a roundhouse kick with red energy spider legs coming out of the leg that he's kicking with. The attack connects and the Giffterian explodes.

Demons: Rest in peace... Chiaki...

Meanwhile, Aguilera, Vice, and you continue beating Olteca until he drops the Giff Stamp.

Olteca: Damn!

Aguilera picks the stamp up before Olteca can before she and Lyon vanish.

Revi: Let's do this in one shot!

Volcano!
Combine!

Burst Up! Revice! We Are Revice!

You and Vice finally change into your Volcano and Barid Rex forms and you activate a Remix.

Burst Remix! Hissatsu! Sugueno! Baneeno! Volcano!

You create a flaming and icy rex that crashes into Olteca before Daniel grabs him from behind.

Olteca: Let go!

Demons: Y/N! Do it! Kick through me if you have to!

Revi: Vice, you remember the plan?

Vice: Of course!

The two of you fist bump before readying a finisher.

Volcano Festival!

You and Vice jump and hit Olteca with a double Rider Kick and the force of the blast not only pushes Daniel back, but knocks the Demons Driver off his waist. This also successfully separates Olteca from his Phase 3 Demon.

Revi: Daniel!

You de-transform and run over to your friend.

Daniel: You... Saved me...

Y/N: Of course.

(Flashback)

Y/N: What did you need to talk about?

George: The next time Daniel transforms could be his last..

Vice: Huh?!

George: The Demons Driver has been eating away at his life. But if you can remove it in time, that could save him.

(End of Flashback)

Y/N: You're our friend after all.

Emily walks over, holding Chiaki's weapon.

Emily: I'm sorry about Chiaki...

Daniel stares at the weapon in sadness.

Daniel: ...

Meanwhile, Atleasian soldiers come and detain Olteca before he can run.

Soldier 1: You're under arrest!

Emily: How?

George: I called them.

The scientist walks up and picks up the Demons Driver.

George: I have some connections. I do still have a high position in Fenix after all.

The soldiers take Olteca away but no one notices the cultist give a small smirk as he's dragged off.

George: Ruby and the others were having trouble getting a ship. But I managed to get in touch with the Fenix Director. He's arranged for a transport but it will be a few days until it arrives.

Vice: Sweet! #NiceGeorge!

Emily: We have time to relax at least...

Daniel: ... Yeah...

He takes Chiaki's weapon and hugs it as he eventually starts crying. You gently pat his back as he grieves.

Y/N: It's okay to let it out...
