We open in the house our heroes reside in.

Qrow: Alright. Leo said he's made some headway with the Council. We're supposed to meet with him in an hour.

You turn to the scientist.

George: I'll need you to stay here so we can work on a power up for Revice.

Vice: Huh?!

George: I need the prep this.

He holds up a new Vistamp.

George: This will work in tandem with Barid Rex to give both you and Vice a power boost. But I need to run some tests it with the two of you first.

Y/N: But...

Ruby: It's okay. We'll be fine.

Weiss: Everything will be okay.

Y/N: Fine...

As George runs his tests, Ruby and the others arrive at Haven and meet with Lionheart.

Lionheart: Welcome. There seem to be... More of you than last time.

Qrow: You know what they say. The more the merrier.

Lionheart: W-Why do you have your weapons?

Qrow: Leo, we're Huntsmen. You okay?

Lionheart: Y-Yes. Just haven't had my evening coffee.

Yang looks up towards the ceiling.

Sure enough, a red eyed raven watches the group but flies quickly to avoid a shot from Qrow's weapon. It flies behind Lionheart and Raven appears in its place.

Raven: If you're going to shoot me, shoot me. That was insulting.

Qrow: Raven...

Nora: They... Really are magic.

Qrow: Why are you here?

Raven: I should ask you that. You've been scheming, Little Brother. Planning to attack your own sister.

Qrow: Leo, what have you done?!

Lionheart: I...

Raven: He did what anyone in his position would do. He was given a choice, he assessed his situation, and he chose. And it seems you all have as well.

Qrow: You have the Spring Maiden.

She opens a portal and a fireball launches out, only for Emily to pull Ruby out of its line of fire. Cinder steps out alongside Emerald, Mercury, Vernal, and Olteca.

Mercury: Aw... They don't look happy to see us.

Yang: It was a trap.

A door opens and Hazel walks in.

Hazel: The White Fang is prepping the explosives as we speak. No one's getting in and no one's getting out.

Qrow: Raven, how long have you worked with them?!

Cinder: Don't worry too much about it, Little Bird. Your sister was a recent addition. The lion on the other hand? Well... Getting into the Vytal Festival was fun. Wouldn't you agree, Lionheart?

Qrow: You... I looked for every Huntsman in the kingdom but I couldn't find them... Because you let her kill them!

Before anyone can process what's going on, the battle of Haven begins.

A small timeskip shows that George has finished his tests and hands you the new Vistamp. The scientist looks at his Gundephone and nods.

George: You were right on the money. Go help out.

Y/N: Right!

You run out and reach Haven Academy where you find White Fang setting up explosives. You stealthily sneak around to the side of the building with less grunts before ambushing them.

Grunt 1: A human?

Grunt 2: Kill him!

Barid Rex!

Baribari!

Y/N: Henshin!

Baribari Up! Revi-vi-vi-vi! Revi!

The grunts shoot at you but you blast their weapons with ice, freezing and shattering them in their hands.

Vice: Better run or this demon's gonna gobble you up! I'm hella hungry!

They run off as you approach the academy wall.

Back with our other group, Ruby tries to fight off Emerald and Mercury while Nora and Ren fight Hazel and Emily, August, and Daniel fight Olteca and Lionheart.

There is a sudden shake.

Emerald: What was that?

Another shake.

Ruby: Huh?

Finally, a wall near Lionheart freezes as you smash through.

Ruby: Y/N!

Olteca: Great...

You see Weiss, injured with Jaune at her side. You start walking over and Mercury tries to attack only for you to grab his leg and throw him across the hall, cracking a wall in the process.

Revi: Weiss...

You kneel down and examine the injury.

Jaune: It was Cinder...

You turn towards Cinder's faction and even with your helmet, they can feel your anger. Lionheart tries to run but Olteca grabs the Headmaster.

Olteca: You aren't going anywhere.

Lionheart: I could return to her grace. I'm still useful!

Olteca: You're right about one thing.

He holds up the Giff Stamp.

Olteca: You are useful. As a sacrifice to Giff.

Before the Headmaster can protest, Olteca stamps him with the demonic stamp. This causes patches of blue fire to burst from Lionheart's body, eventually solidifying his body into a statue that breaks apart, leaving no trace of Lionheart but leaving a new monster in his place.

Olteca: This is a Giffterian. Lord Giff's elite fighters. They are born by consuming humans stamped with the Giff Stamp.

Giffterian: Indeed... That human was delicious...

Vice: Gross!

Revi: Vice! Let's do this in one shot!

Volcano!

You stamp your Driver and combine the Volcano and Barid Rex stamps.

Combine!

An egg forms around you and it fills with magma, creating a new form. The egg explodes as Vice gains a new form as well.

Burst Up! Oni-atsui! Bari-yabai! Gon-sugoi! Banet-tsuyoi! Revice! We are! Revice!

The two of you lunge at the Giffterian and strike it with a combination of fire and ice. Hazel lunges at you but you kick him in the chest and launch him through the entrance before taking out the Ohinbuster and stamping it with the Volcano Vistamp and placing the stamp in the weapon's back.

You also turn the Barid Rex stamp twice in your Driver and Vice breathes ice onto his shield, creating a blade.

Volcano! Stamping Slash!
Barid Rex! Finifini Finish!

The two of you slash the Giffterian and it explodes in a burst of ice and flame but there is no trace of Lionheart left.

Revi: W-What?

Olteca: I told you. Humans used to make Giffterians are completely consumed. They don't even leave behind a body. Looks like you can't save everyone.

Revi: How dare you... What gives you the right to treat other people's lives like something you can just throw away!?

You charge at Olteca but before your fist connects, you suddenly catch fire and fall to the ground, screaming in pain.

Vice: Y/N!

Jeanne: Y/N!

Live: Y/N!

You de-transform but parts of your skin have been burnt. Your siblings run over to your side and August shoots at Olteca, who vanishes in inky mist. The last thing you see before collapsing is Weiss getting up and summoning a giant wasp-like Grimm from her Glyphs.

When you come to, you find yourself in a bed, covered in bandages, with Weiss at your bedside.

Weiss: How do you feel?

You try to getup and although you wince in pain, you manage to get at least sitting up.

Y/N: Like a million Lien... What happened?

Weiss we pushed the enemy back and managed to recover the Relic of Knowledge.

You let out a sigh.

Y/N: That's good to hear.

Weiss: Though... According to Oscar, Ozpin said for us to take it to Atlas.

Vice pops up beside you.

Vice: Y/N! I was so worried!!!

Y/N: So... When do we go?

Weiss: In a few days. Which you need to spend recovering.

You try to protest but Weiss gently pushes you back so you're laying down once more.

Weiss: No "buts". You need rest.

You sigh but smile and close your eyes.
