We open to your group. Jaune and Ruby are carrying Qrow in a stretcher. Vice pops up with a nurse's hat.

Vice: Yep. Definitely poison. That guy that attacked us is the prime suspect. If we kept his amputated tail, maybe we could've made an anti-venom.

Y/N: Vice, I doubt any of us know how to make anti-venom.

Ruby: Hold on, Uncle Qrow...

The group arrives at a fork in the road. One path leads through the mountains, while the other leads to a village but the village's name has been crossed out with an x.

Ruby: Kuro... Kuroyuri? Can we get help there?

Ren: That village was destroyed years ago.

Jaune: Maybe there are some medical supplies we can scavenge.

Ren: We won't find anything!

Ruby and Jaune are taken back by Ren's outburst.

Vice: Jeez... And I thought he was the level headed type.

Your Thoughts: Must be a sore subject...

Nora: Ren and I can travel up the mountain to look for help. You three can go to the village to try to find supplies. If we find anyone, we'll meet you there.

Jaune: Right.

The group splits up and goes down the separate paths.

Meanwhile... Weiss and Klein are sneaking out of the Schnee Mansion. Klein opens a hidden passage and hugs Weiss.

Klein: Go, my dear. I must stay so your father doesn't get suspicious. Your friends are waiting inside.

Weiss: Thank you, Klein...

Whitley's voice can be heard from a distance.

Whitley: Klein?

Klein: Go.

Weiss enters the passage as the way in closes behind her. She walks through until finding Daniel and August with an airship.

August: Ready to go?

Weiss: Yeah...

Back to our group, some time has passed and you rummage through the remains of a pharmacy.

Ruby: Anything?

Y/N: Nothing usable... Seems like bandits snatched what they could after what happened here.

There is a blood chilling scream.

Jaune: What... Was that?

Nora and Ren run in.

Nora: Guys!

A Grimm makes its presence known and it's one of the creepiest yet. At first, it looks like a horse, albeit with claws on its front legs instead of hooves, but what comes out of the horse's back is a humanoid figure from the waist up. The figure has freakishly long arms, each ending with two fingered hands, weapons jutting out of its back like a living pin cushion, and a demonic head with long curved horns. The Grimm shakes violently before letting out another shriek.

Y/N: Get Qrow to safety! Henshin!

Rex!
Buddy Up! Kamen Rider! Revi! Vice! Revice!

You rush the Grimm and jump around its arms, avoiding the creature's attacks. This Grimm seems to be a bit smarter and spins itself, knocking you and Vice back.

Revi: Gah!

Vice: Let's try a Remix!

Remix! Buddy Up!

You and Vice change into your Rex Remix and slam into the Grimm, biting into its shoulder and making it scream again. This causes the horse half to kick you back and the force of the kick separates your Remix.

Vice: Damn it packs a punch...

The creature gets ready to charge but it's shot at by Ruby.

Revi: Let's do this in one shot!

Barid Rex!

Baribari!

Baribari Up! Kamen Rider! Revi-vi-vi-vi! Revi!

You charge again, this time freezing the ground at your feet to slide under the Grimm and attack from underneath. Though, the Grimm quickly moves to avoid you while also attacking Ruby.

Vice: Come on! How do we win?!

Ren suddenly rushes the Grimm.

Jaune: Ren!

Ren: AGH!!!

Nora tackles him under a ruined building as you grab the beast's attention once more.

Revi: Hey, Ugly! Come on!

You shoot several ice blasts, leading the Grimm away from the others.

Vice: What's the plan?

Revi: Buy the others time!

You scan the Kong Vistamp on the Barid Rex stamp.

Kon-Kon!

Reborn! Kon-Kon! Baribari Stamp Fever!

You create a construct of the Kong Remix but the Grimm overpowers it. It destroys the construct and knocks Vice away before pressing one of its feet on your chest.

Vice: Y/N!

Revi: Gah!

You hear your armor start to crack as the Grimm adds more of its weight on top of you.

Your Thoughts: Is this really how I die?

Images flash through your mind. Transforming for the first time, your initiation to join Beacon, meeting all of your friends, your kiss with Weiss, the Vytal Festival, and finally... You making your promise to Weiss.

Your Thoughts: Sorry... Weiss...

Before the creature can kill you, it's blindsided by Nora's hammer. This disorients it and you feel someone lift you up.

Ruby: Y/N...

Vice: I'll get him to safety. Kill that thing.

Ren: Right.

With that... You lose consciousness.

Meanwhile, Yang has painted her robotic arm to match her usual color scheme. She prepares her motorcycle and Emily admires the vehicle.

Emily: Nice wheels.

Lovekov: Vroom Vroom!

Taiyang: Going somewhere?

Yang: You gonna stop us?

Taiyang: No. I just want to know.

Yang: Ruby's going to Mistral. If Qrow's with her, Mom's Semblance should help me find them.

Taiyang: ...

Emily: Don't worry. I got her back. I'll take down anyone who causes us trouble.

Taiyang: Just... Be careful, you two...

Yang hops on the bike and Emily hops on behind her, grabbing her waist to stay on the vehicle. Then the two ride off.

In Atlas, August pilots the airship as he, Daniel, and Weiss fly away from the floating city.

Weiss: Goodbye, Atlas.

Daniel: We'll be going to Mistral. Probably gonna be a long flight.

Weiss: I thought you would want to go to Argus.

Daniel: If we go to Argus, they'll just ship us right back to Atlas. Especially since Ironwood's closing the borders to Atlas.

George: Yeah. Kinda extreme...

The group suddenly realize George Goldenrod was with them.

Daniel: George?! Why are you here?

George: I don't like being cooped up in Atlas all the time.

Weiss looks out a window of the airship, watching as Atlas gets smaller in the distance.

When you come to, you find yourself in an airship of some kind.

Y/N: What...

Ruby: Y/N!

Y/N: Where... Are we?

Ruby: Mistral airships. We're on our way straight to Mistral now. We killed that Grimm.

Y/N: Awesome...

Vice: Y/N!!!

Your demon tries to hug you but since you've de-transformed, he's in his ghostly form.

Vice: I'm glad you're okay!

Y/N: Vice, don't act so surprised. If I died, you'd be dead too...

Vice: Oh right... Kinda forgot in the heat of the moment.

Y/N: But... We're finally going to reach Mistral...

Ruby: Yeah.

Y/N: Finally...
