Qrow glares at Tyrian, who laughs.

Tyrian: Qrow Branwen. As I live and breathe. A true Huntsman has entered the fray.

Qrow looks at Ruby.

Ruby: I don't know. This guy's weird.

Qrow: Listen, pal. Why are you after my niece?

Tyrian: All to serve our Queen!

Ruby: Queen?

Qrow: Salem...

Ruby: Who?

Tyrian: I think that's enough talk...

Qrow: Took the words right-

Before Qrow can complete the sentence, Tyrian lunges at him. Jaune and Ruby try to run to help but Qrow turns his head.

Qrow: Stay back!

Tyrian pounces once more but is blindsided by a blast of your ice.

Revi: You aren't leaving us out.

Vice: Yeah! Ruby's our friend!

You and Vice dash as Tyrian shoots at you. Vice blocks with his shield and you stamp the Revicelasher with the Ptera Vistamp, causing the blade to generate a massive red energy blade construct.

Stamp-by! Here we go! (Let's go!)

Revi-Vice Slash!

You swing the blade and Tyrian barely blocks it. With a scream, the man swings his arms and shatters the construct, though this damages his weapons. Tyrian glares at you as his eyes turn purple.

Qrow: Stay back!

The Huntsman charges and slams Tyrian into a wall and tries to slice him with his sword. Tyrian dodges and goes to stab Qrow with his scorpion stinger but Vice blocks it with his shield before you kick the madman in the head.

Tyrian: You're quite the nuisance...

Vice: Coming from a freak like you, we'll take that as a compliment!

Tyrian: Then let's see you do something about this!

He grabs a large piece of lumber and throws it at Ruby. Before anyone else can react, Qrow rushes in front of her and cuts the lumber to splinters but Tyruan takes advantage of this and cuts Qrow's side with his tail.

Tyrian: Hehehe...

Though he immediately loses his smile when Ruby takes her scythe and cuts his tail off.

Tyrian: Gah!

Vice: Ha! Who's laughin' now?

Tyrian: You bitch!

He stumbles but clearly sees that he no longer has an advantage.

Tyrian: S-She'll forgive you...

He mutters to himself before running off.

Ruby: Uncle Qrow! Are you okay?

Qrow: Yeah... Just grazed me...

You de-transform.

Y/N: We need an explanation. What's going on?

Ruby: Uncle Qrow?

Qrow: ... What's... Your favorite fairy tale?

Meanwhile in Atlas, Weiss had just finished arguing with her father.

Weiss: I've got to leave...

??????: I can help with that.

Weiss turns to see Daniel standing in the window frame.

Weiss: Daniel? How'd you get up here?

Daniel: My Semblance lets me climb and stick to different surfaces. I kinda just walked up the manor wall. But that's beside the point. The point is, I can help you leave. Or to be exact, August and I.

Weiss: What do you mean?

Daniel: August and I are going to be heading out to find Y/N. Hopefully, we'll meet him in Mistral. But Fenix has provided a ship. We can leave at any time.

Weiss looks at her hands.

Weiss: I need to train first... Give me a day or two.

Daniel: Of course.

Weiss: ... Did you... Overhear anything?

Daniel: Yes... That father of yours is a real piece of work...

Weiss rubs her cheek.

Daniel: I was tempted to storm in and punch him when that happened... Gods only know what Y/N's reaction would have been.

Weiss: ... Yeah...

Daniel: I better go. You have my contact info when you're ready.

Weiss: Right. Thanks.

Daniel leaves and Weiss opens a box that contains her rapier. She loads it with Dust and takes a stance to begin training.
