Oobleck: Doctor... But yes, the tournament is split into teams, doubles, and singles. The last huntsman standing will earn victory for their kingdom.

Port: Now! This is our first match of the day! Team CPPR from Shade and Team JADE of Beacon!

Your team walks out to face your opponents. Two girls and two guys. The first girl, a tanned skintone and wielding a pair of tonfa looks at you.

????: Name's Cana. Let's have a fair fight.

Y/N: Let's do this.

The arena randomly generates two environments, a beach and a city ruin.

Daniel: No holding back.

Your team puts on their Drivers and ready their Vistamps.

One of Team CPPR, the other girl, speaks up.

Lovekov turns into her fan form.

Revi: I got a solution.

Jackal!

Buddy Up! Technical! Rhythmical! Critical! Jackal!

You change into Jackal Genome and Vice turns into his skateboard form.

Vice: No fair!

Port: Begin!

Cana of CPPR aims the ends of her tonfa at you and fires, revealing their ranged potential, but you skate away on Vice into the ruins. The leader of CPPR follows suit.

Live: Let's get serious!

He starts firing at the rest of CPPR as one of the guys holds up a large shield to block the blasts. The girl and other guy rush out from behind him as the girl wraps Daniel in a tether before pulling him towards her. The second guy draws a crossbow and starts firing explosive projectiles at Emily, who backflips out of the way.

Demons: This won't stop me!

He uses his Semblance to stick to the ground by his feet, forcing the girl to recall her tether, but she had already pulled the Spider based Rider away from the others.

??????: Not bad. Let's see how long you last.

Demons: Don't underestimate me.

Daniel pulls out the Mogura Vistamp and activates a Genomix.

Add!
Mogura!
Dominate Up! Mogura! Genomix!

Meanwhile, you skate around the ruins, dodging Cana's attacks. You hold the Ohinbuster in gun mode and fire at her as you ride by.

Vice: Catch us if you can!

Cana: Hold still!

She aims her gun-tonfa at the ground in front of you and shoots, damaging it and making you flip off of Vice.

Cana: I don't care if you have back up. I enjoy a challenge!

Revi: Fine. Let's try this!

Lion!

Buddy Up! Gaon! Get on! Yajuu no ou! Lion!

Vice and you transform into your Lion Genome and Vice points at Cana.

Vice: That was a cheap shot!

Revi: Vice, let's go!

You rush Cana and stike at her with multiple punches. Vice leaps over your shoulder to deliver a kick but Cana blocks with one of her weapons.

Cana: Now this is a fight.

With August, the CPPR team member with the shield tosses it into the air as it unfolds into a large battle axe.

Live: Of course...

The two start playing a game of cat and mouse, dodging each other's attacks.

Live: Let's settle this seriously!

Hissatsu Shonin! Bat! Justice Finish!

August dives at his opponent and kicks, knocking the axe wielder out of the ring.

Port: Ooh! And Ryan Maroon has been knocked out via ringout by August L/N!

Emily dodges more explosive crossbow bolts.

Jeanne: This is getting old!

Her opponent holds his crossbow and it changes into a spear.

Jeanne: Let's do this! I'll show how invincible I am!

The two clash weapons and Emily activates a finisher.

Kujaku! Stamping Smash!

Emily smacks her opponent and jumps up, kicking him and depleting his Aura.

Oobleck: And an impressive display by Emily L/N! Parker Verte has been eliminated via Aura depletion.

Demons: I will lay down my life to ensure my team's victory!

Mogura!
Charge!
Demons Finish!

Daniel jumps up and his Mogura drill moves from his arm to his leg and he kicks the girl he was fighting out of the ring.

Oobleck: Rachel Mandarin has been eliminated via ringout by Daniel Dunkel.

Cana: Just me, huh? Fine. I can finally use my Semblance.

Cana's body starts to glow and the rubble around her starts to melt.

Vice: Woah!

Port: And it appears Cana Rouge has activated her Semblance!

Oobleck: Miss Rouge can superheat her muscles to amplify her strength immensely.

Vice: Oh crap!

Revi: Then let's turn up the heat ourselves!

Lion! Stamping Finish!

You and Vice dive at Cana but she tries to counter, causing an explosion.

Live: Y/N!

The dust settles to reveal Cana out cold. Her Aura meter on the big screen depletes.

Port: And Cana Rouge is knocked out via Aura depletion. Team JADE advances!

We cut to your team, now relaxing. Emily is eating cotton candy, Daniel is drinking water, August is eating funnel cake and you look at the many food carts, trying to pick a snack.

Weiss: Hey.

You turn to see Team RWBY.

Y/N: Hey. I saw your fight. You four are amazing.

Yang: Oh you smooth talker.

Weiss smiles and holds your hand.

???????: Hey.

Emerald walks up with Ruby's wallet in hand.

Ruby: Thanks. Girl pockets are the worst.

Emerald: So Mercury and I are going to the doubles round. How about you guys?

Ruby: As team leader-

Weiss: We put it to a vote.

Ruby: Yes well I elected to have a vote.

Blake: We chose Weiss and Yang.

Weiss: I will happily represent Team RWBY.

Yang: Yeah! We're gonna kick some butt!

Emerald: How about JADE?

Emily: Well-

Daniel: Sorry but that information's confidential. Can't give potential opponent's an advantage.

Emerald: Fair enough. Well I guess I'll see ya around.

She walks off and Vice appears beside you.

Vice: Her whole team is suspicious as hell...

Meanwhile, Emerald and Mercury head to their guest dorm, where Cinder awaits. Though now Jack is with her.

Mercury: Who is that?

Cinder: This is Jack the Gutter. He was an infamous serial killer from these parts. The Deadmans sent him to aid us.

Emerald: They gave us a serial killer for help?

Jack: Problem with that?

Cinder: Another thing. Olteca told me Jack here is limited to up to three words a sentence.

Jack: Where is target?

Cinder: Yes...

Cinder shows Jack her Scroll and the killer sees a picture of you that was apparently taken without your knowledge.

Cinder: This is Y/N L/N. He is a problem for both the Deadmans and my associates. I want you to kill him.

Jack: Understood. Boy will die.
