The Good And The Bad

Ella's pov

"Can you tell me more about her?"
I said as I handed him the mask.
"Triston, I-"

He snarled.
"My name is not Triston anymore!
I do not deserve that name.
Now or ever again.
I've done too many bad things to be called good again."

I felt really bad for him.
If my aunt could be his friend then well, I surely could be too!
It seems he needs one anyways.

"Okay, I'm sorry, I just wanted to tell you that maybe if you tell me more about my great aunt, we can figure some things out.
Oh, and it's supposed to rain tonight. If you wanted to sleep here, in my room, it's alright, but not in my bed."

He looked at me with his now silver colored eyes.
I guess that's the color they change too when he's in a good mood and not hungry anymore.

"Redrum thanks you but he has his own home."

I heard him say.
It's so odd the split personality that this thing, excuse me, man has.

"If Redrum is the one thanking me, then who are you?"
I asked curious of the name he might give.

"You call me Ecnach."

I then saw him flinch in pain and fall down into the ground rolling around, holding his ears shut, as if there was a screeching sound that he could not stand.

"Are you okay?!"

I was worried he was not.

"Don't you ever say that again!" Redrum snapped. But, not at me, at himself?
"Your name is Redrum and it is all it shall ever be!
Now kill her!
Kill Ella!
She stole your Sarah away from you!"

As he said these things aloud I got frightened.

"No!
That's not true!
I'm just trying to help!"

Knock knock knock

"Ella?
Are you okay in there honey?"
My mother called out.

I turned around to see my curtains flowing with wind, not created naturally.
He left.

"I'm fine mom, don't worry!"
I yelled and opened my door.

"See!
Perfectly okay."

I spun around to prove that I was in good condition and she kissed my forehead.

"Alright then, goodnight and sweet dreams."

There was to be a storm tonight and I didn't feel safe, but maybe if I left my window open Redrum wouldn't be as scared.
I pondered a while, trying to decide if I should leave my window open. Against my better judgment. I left it open...

Okay, don't be coming after me with pitch forks and fire alright?!

I love you my lovely readers!

If you read the authors note, comment with Redrum.
