Somehow our metal bird friend was riding good through the waves.

I asked Phoenix, and she told me that she added something new to the bird but she won't tell me what. 

I was keeping watch making sure no monster would come and attack us. Priscilla tried to help me keep watch, but due to her seasickness she couldn't. After a few hours of Phoenix rocking back and forth her face became to color of a avocado and she went to the side to lay down.  

I wasn't mad at her. I too have sickness that affect me in the worst ways.

I told her to go rest before her sandwich came up all over our nice ride. She agreed and sat back and watch me.

"I hate having seasickness" she told me as I turned and said "I can tell. I do to. It's really going to slow us down if we do more water quest" 

She blenched and said "Agreed." 

Then Phoenix came walking towards us. The scrawny daughter of Hephaestus was wearing a Camp-Half Blood shirt, with jeans as she wore a red plaid shirt as her hair was tied into a giant ball.

"Hey Phoenix" Priscilla said as she said hey. 

"Calypso was looking for you Zoe that's why I came''

"Oh"

"Yea, she wants to talk to you about the forge" 

"I'll be there. Hey, could you take lookout for me ?" I asked her as she said "Sure. I got nothing else better to do" as she took the binoculars from out of my hand.

"I'll help you out Phi" Priscilla told her as she got up with a stumble as she said "Seasickness been getting to me"

"I see" she said.

"You go see Calypso. Well be fine" Priscilla told Zoe as she nodded with a smile and walked away.

"Hey Cal" I said as the sorceress raised her head up at me and gave me a thin smile. 

Her hair was tied into a messy braid as her bright dark almond eyes gave the word of "worried" as she wore a v neck white shirt with jeans and golden sandals.

"Zoe. I was looking for you early. But I couldn't find you"

"Yea sorry, I was keeping lookout" as I sat down and crossed my legs.

"I only called you to tell you about...-"

"The forge ?"

"No, I only said that because I didn't want Phoenix to know"

I rose a brow at Calypso.

"What does she mean she doesn't want Phoenix to know ?"

"Hey Cal, Is something wrong ?"

She heisted for a second as I put my hand on her her's as she looked up at me as I said in a clam voice "Hey if this has anything to do with Phoenix. I need to know then. So please tell me"

She sighed as she said "Phoenix is like a sister to me. The one I've never had. I want her to be safe." as guilt washed over her. 

"She's like a sister to me always along with Priscilla. I know you care about her Cal. So tell me what's up"

She sighed and said "It's about Lilith"

I took my hand from her shoulder's gently as I asked "What about Lilith" 

"You know that Lilith died from Childbirth. Right ?" 

"Yea, I know. Her body wasn't prepared for the pain of Childbirth." 

"Lilith she left something for Phoenix to have" as I rose my brow as I asked "What ?"

Calypso looked around in her bag as she pulled out a note that was burned and torn as she unfolded it as she began to read it out loud.

Dear My Loving Phoenix,

To my dearest daughter, I can't wait to see you when you are born. It's been nine long months. And I have to say I've never been happier. I've gotten bigger everyday and I love the feeling of your little kicks and I already gotten your baby clothes already.  

Today, Was the day. I've given birth. I see you right next to me in a clear box with tubes out of your mouth and crying filling the hospital room. Seeing you like that has brought me to many tears. I'm sorry my loving daughter, but I haven't survive the birth. Ever since weeks ago. I been coughing up blood and many times my heart would stop beating.

They said I was going to die, My body wasn't in the right condition for childbirth since I had grown Ill. They said I could either get rid of you or go through. I decided to go through with the birth. They hook me up to oxygen as I continue the painfully birth. Tears filled my eyes as my screaming grew.

But then, I heard you Phoenix the sounds of my you crying as I saw you in the doctor's arm covered in blood as you cried. You were so small. You had tan skin and a little patch of brown curly hair I couldn't do anything but cry as I held you for the last time.

If, Your reading this then I've have passed away. I couldn't let you stay in the hands of Hephaestus. I forbid it. So I put you in a foster family. You must be mad at me. I know you are. I hope when you go to Camp Half-Blood Phoenix that you are going to grow and make many friends. And meet people who are going to make you happy and maybe even find love. No matter how much losing me will affect you promise me you won't shut other out and learn to deal with the pain no matter how much it hurts.

I love you My little angel, and I hope you will forgive me for leaving you in a cruel world at such a young age. 

From Your Mother, Lilith Doreen Carson

There was silence until Me and Calypso heard crying as we both turned to see Phoenix her eyes were blood shot and her skin bright red as Calypso said "Phi" 

Phoenix fell to her knees as her chest rose as she tried to breath but struggle.

Me and Calypso comfort her as  she cried soon she was screaming and wailing.

Priscilla and Leo came over. Once they noticing Phoenix crying they already knew what was wrong. 

"Lilith ?" Priscilla asked 

I nodded as she kneed down next as she continue to rubbed Phoenix's shoulder as she demigod began to shake.  

"It's ok Phi"

"Breathe" Leo told his little sister as she tried her best to follow but it sounded more like a hiccup then breathing.

Finally after a couple of minutes  she calmed down.

Leo stayed with her. Cleaning her face as she rested on his chest.

She complained about her  head hurting for a hour but Leo keep telling her it was because of her crying.

She fell asleep on Leo.

Soon it became night time.

Phoenix was asleep in the back with a blanket over her as she would mutter stuff in her sleep like "Mamma" or "Mommy"

Leo said she was probably talking to Lilith while she sleep.

"She's always going to be watching over her" Leo told me as we watch Phoenix mumble in her sleep.

"Good thing to" I said as she turned on her side as she groaned and hugged the pillow as Leo rubbed her shoulder and told her "Clam down Phi. Go to sleep"

She followed as she slept well.

Priscilla came over with the map of where we were as I say that we were close by Siren's Island.

"That name doesn't sound very good" I told her as she said "I know. There are where the Siren's are"

"You mean those Mermaid ladies who sing people to there death?" Leo asked

"Yep"

"Let's be careful then" Calypso said.

"Agreed" I said.

While going across the ocean. I started to hear singing. It was beautiful. It said words like "Follow me to the Depth were well rest forever" 

"That singing" I said to Leo as he started to hear the same thing.

"The Sirens" Calypso said as she covered my ears.

"Leo if you put wax's in your ear you can't hear the sirens's. Get some out of my bag"

"Ew That's Disgusting !" 

"Ugh Leo !" as she reached into her bag as she began to put wax's into my ear along with herself, Phoenix and Leo.

"There that's better'' she said as she wiped her hands.

"I can't hear" Leo said as she told him "That's the point Valdez"

Then I remember something as I said "Oh no" as I grabbed  Priscilla's sword as Calypso said "What is it ?"

"I forget Priscilla taking lookout" as I rushed to the front as I stopped and saw blue flip flops sitting right in the middle as I looked towards the water as I cursed under my breath as I took my jacket off as I divided into the water.

It was freezing. I couldn't hear the siren's song thank's to the wax's in my ear.

I looked around while holding my breath as I spotted Priscilla.

She was swimming towards the Siren's as I noticed her usually sea green eyes were sclera were black and her eyes were a bright glowing blue as I tried my best to swim towards her.

I didn't know how to swim. At all. I was horrible when it came to swimming. Due my fear of swimming I never wanted to learn how to swim.

My mother tried to teach me but as soon as I saw the deep sparkling water I would scream and throw a huge tantrum so she give up on teaching me how to.  

Now sixteen I till don't know how. Priscilla tried to teach me when we had swim lessons at Camp. She would hold me by my hands and she kept telling me "I won't drown" but once she let me go I would hurry and grabbed  her and cry. 

She laughed at me and would always say "Just wait your going to be a great swimmer"  

I would tell her "I never learn."

Once I caught up to Priscilla I grabbed her by her ankle.

I didn't know how but a shock went through my body as I began to see a vision of what the Siren's look like to Priscilla.

To me there were not like what people say. Beautiful Ladies with mermaid's tails. Yea right. They were human like vulture (a bird if you don't know) with dirty black plumage, gray talons and wrinkled pink necks.

But to Priscilla they didn't look like that. To Priscilla the Siren's look just like her mother  Olivia, and father Poseidon she was also there. Probably around the age of five. She was dressed in overalls as she had a plain blue shirt underneath as her jet black hair was put into pigtails as she was wearing sneakers.  

Olivia and Poseidon wear holding hands and cuddle with one another as they had a picnic in Central Park as Priscilla was there running around chasing butterflies. 

I was shocked. Priscilla wanted her parents to get along. She wanted them to be a normal husband and wife and she would be there mischievous five year old daughter who they loved so much.

"P" I sighed in my mind.

Once I grabbed Priscilla's ankle she kicked me in the face a couple of times but I was still able to hold her tight she thrashed around so much I almost lost my grip on  her.

Then I remind that I had wax in my ear. "It's the singing !"

I tried to call her name to make us a air bubble so we could breathe.

Poseidon kids are able to do.  

I screamed her name maybe around ten times but because her hands were thrashing around so much she accident created one.

I gasped for air as I noticed I was being surrendered by a air bubble thankful. 

I turned and saw Priscilla she gasped and coughed, her whole body was shaking as she looked up at me her eyes normal. I knew that the spell was broken.

She then began to sob uncontrollably she was sad that the Siren's Vision was fake and wasn't real. 

I sighed as I held her and rubbed her shoulder.

"It's ok P" I told her.

I didn't know what she was saying but she just continued to cry. 

Fish began to come around us as Priscilla looked up at them as she gave them a glare that read "Scram !" as they did.

"You ok ?" I asked her as she nodded still on my shoulder.

She held my hand as she said "I'm sorry for causing you trouble"

"It's fine. I mean I did almost drown but I'm still alive"

She laughed.

She still forget she was on my shoulder as she jerked up quietly as I noticed her cheeks flooded with redness as I thought to myself "Is she blushing ?" 

My cheeks started to flood red to as I let go of her hand as we sat there with awkwardness as she spoke up and said "Thanks for saving me"

"It's nothing" I told her.

"Hold onto me. Let's get back to Phoenix" as she nodded as she hang onto me. 

Once we broken into the surface our air bubble pop as I saw the flying bird in the distance.

"Come on" I told her as we began to swim towards the bird.

Calypso saw us covered in water as she helped both of us up as she cried and told us she was worried about the two of us.

Then Leo got each of us a blanket as we sat there looking in the distance.

I still forget that there was wax in my ear, Priscilla mouth to me "It's safe" as I took out my wax with water I could hear the sweet silence.

"Aw, no evil birds" I said.

"Thank goodness" she said.

"Z" She said as I turned to her and said "Yea ?"

"Did you see what I say back there with the Siren's ?"

"Yea. It was your mom, Poseidon and You at Central Park." 

"All I ever wanted was for them to get along. Like be a real husband and wife. And I could be daughter."

"I know what you mean."

"I want Zeus's to act like that with me to"

"It just why-"

"Can't they get along" we said at the same time.

"Exactly" Priscilla said as she sipped the soup that Leo brought us to warm up our body.

"Were going to get sick tomorrow" 

"We really are" she said.

"What's your flaw Z ?" she asked me.

"My flaw ?" I asked.

"Your fatal flaw ?"

"It's like a weakness or a downfall that we have."

"Don't humans and immortals have it to ?"
"Yep" she said.

"Mine loyalty."

"Basically, I'm too nice" 

I gave a short laugh as I told "I haven't found mine yet" as Priscilla joked "I bet it's your temper"

"P !" I said as she laughed and said "Fine, I won't joke. But it may be that Z"

"Your temper does slow you down something"

"I know" I told her.

Leo then peeked his head from the coroner as he said "Hey come on the stew ready"  

"Coming Leo" I told him.

He disappeared as I turned to Priscilla and said "Come on before Phoenix's eat all the stew'' as we both got up as I reached for her hand as she turned to me as her face burn red as mine did to.

"I love you Z" she told me as I told her "I love you to Kelp-Face" as she laughed as we both made our way to the back.
