Phoenix

I couldn't believe Phoenix was staying a float this long.

Usually my inventions didn't work. They would break right before i even got a chance to use them. Like my ice cream machine that would pop out delicious frozen ice cream, to bad it explode everywhere on the floor.

Decide Phoenix had to stay flying or as me, Zoe, Priscilla, Calypso and Leo well go plunging into the woods.

"So what's this curse everywhere talking about ?" I ask as i turned and leaned against Phoenix's back.

"The Cruse was put on the cabin since Charles Beckendorf died. The cruse is that all children of cabin 9 denied all children of Hephaestus the ability to make any type of gadget, item or automaton" Priscilla told me, her fingernails were dig deep into Phoenix's metal scales.

"Basically no project under Cabin 9 was successful" Zoe said eating some Sour Patch kids, i noticed she only eating the blue one.

"It's shocking that you made this" Calypso said sitting in the back looking over the map of Rome.

"Guess, i got lucky" as i said rubbing Phoenix's scales.

"Let's hope nothing bad happens to her, while were in the air" Leo said.

Calypso stayed quiet in the back, having little chat's with Leo and reading. I wanted to start a quick chat with her, but she keep her eyes on the map.

I sighed and turned back around.

Under us was trees and lakes.

I wanted to take a quick nap on Phoenix, but after my last try at taking a nap i woke up falling so i keep my eyes open.

"Phoenix. I never brother to ask you about your birthmark" Calypso added as i turned as her eyes were on me, as she sat legs crossed hands in lap as she waited for my answer.

I forget i was wearing a camp half blood t-shirt that was exposing, the huge Phoenix birthmark on my back of a Phoenix raising it wings.

"Oh. My birthmark ?"

"Yes, what does it mean ?"

"Oh i had it since i was a baby. Zoe and Priscilla have one to" I added as Calypso turned and saw the trident on Priscilla's shoulder and a lightning bolt on Zoe's neck, who lips were covered in sour stuff as she lick her lips. I knew Zoe was obese with sour food and Priscilla with blue food, her and Percy.

"It's pretty" she said as she picked the map back up and read again .

"Thanks" I mutter as i put my arms in my lap as i looked down at them.

My mother told me i look just like her. I had her curly brown hair and her brown warm skin and even her way of inventing. My mom also made inventions to from what people told me. She was lovable and had a sense of humor just like me-

I noticed the air was rushing in my ear as i open my eyes and saw i was now falling from the sky.
