Chapter 6- King Bumi

"There it is guys, the Earth Kingdom City of Omashu!" Aang smiled pointing at a mountain with a city on top of it. You four were walking for a while as Appa was tired of flying, with Twig and Momo sleeping on his back.
"I used to always come here to visit my friend Bumi," Aang explained.

"Wow! We don't have cities like this in the South Pole," Katara said in awe.
"They have buildings here that don't melt," Sokka mumbled.
"Eh, if you seen it once, you've seen it a thousand times," You shrugged.

"Well, let's go slowpokes, the real fun is inside the city!" Aang said excitedly, but Katara stopped him.
"Wait Aang! It could be dangerous if people find out you're the Avatar, and bad for (Y/N) considering she's a criminal," She told him.

"Glad to see people care," You grinned.
"You two need a disguise," Sokka added. You crossed your arms and raised your eyebrow.

"If you're expecting me to wear a wig-,"

"I'm going to kill you all," You grumbled, furiously itching your head due to Appa's fur being a wig for you.
"Great, now you two look just like my grandparents," Sokka bluntly said.
"Technically, Aang is 112 years old," Katara told him.

"And I just have a back problem," You merely shrugged and hunched over.
"Now let's get to skipping young wippersnappers!" Aang said in an exaggerated old man voice.
"Shall we my dearie?" You said in a old women's voice. You both locked arms together as you waddled your the entrance.

Twig hid in your wig as you four walked through the path to the Omashu entrance.
"You guys are gonna love Omashu, the people here are the friendliest in the world," Aang smiled.
"No one can be that friendly Air boy," You crossed your arms, and it proved your point as you saw Earth guards throwing a cabbage cart off the cliff.

"My cabbages!!" The man yelled in despair.
"Just keep smiling," Aang said nervously, walking up to them. The earth guard lifted up a giant bolder and glared at you guys.
"State your business," He said. Then Aang went up to him with speed and went up in his face.

"My business is my business young man, and none of yours! I've got half a mind to bend you over my knee and paddle your backside!" He yelled at him with the old man voice. You tried your hardest not to laugh as Sokka and Katara stared at him in disbelief.

But it worked! Surprisingly.
"Settle down, old timer. Just tell me who you are," The guard said, a little unease's but his yelling.
"Name's Bonzoo Pippenpadlopsicopolis, the third! And this is my lovely wife and grandkids," Aang said in his old man voice.

"Hi! June Pippenpadlopsicopolis, nice to meet you," Katara "introduced" herself with a smile.
"Such a nice boy you are deary," You smiled softly up at the guard with a hand on his cheek.
"You seem like a responsible young lady. See that your grandfather stays out of trouble. And you be careful out there ma'am, enjoy Omashu," He told you and Katara.

You nodded at him, trying not to laugh at the idiocy.
"Thank you sonny," You four continued to walk in, then the guard grabbed Sokka's shoulder.
"Wait a minute," You turned and prepared to fight.
"You're a strong young boy. Show some respect for the elderly and carry your grandparents' bags," He scolded him.

You and Abby looked at each other and shrugged as you gave your bags to Sokka. The doors opened and you four walked inside. You smiled at the sight of the city as Twig came out of Aang's wig and hopped on your shoulder.
'Still the great city I know,' You thought with a sigh.
"This is the Omashu delivery system. Miles and miles of tubes and chutes," Aang said with a smile.

"Earthbending brings up the packages up, and gravity brings them down," You piped in, pointing at the boxes of mail going down the slide.
"Great, so they get their mail on time," Sokka said unimpressed.
"They do get their mail on time, but my friend Bumi found a better use for the chutes," He grinned mischievously. You tilted your head curiously.

"For what?"

To say that you were excited was an understatement. Aang pushed a mailing box to the opening of a slide as you four got inside.
"One ride, then we're of to the North Pole, Airbender's honer," He promised.

"This sounded like fun at first, but now that I'm here, I'm starting to have second thoughts!" Katara said with uneasiness in her voice.
"Aw come one water girl, don't be like tHAT!!" You shouted the last part as the box slid down the slide.

Twig clutched onto your chest tightly as you and Aang were cheering and laughing. It started out fun, then you saw a delivery with weapons and it was behind you.
'That might end badly,' You thought as it was getting closer to Sokka.
"Duck Boomerang!" You shouted as he did so.

"Don't worry, I'm on it!" Aang then shook the box and you four fell out of the slide. You slid pass some guards as you ran into other mailing boxes.
"Aang do something! Use your airbending!" Katara pleaded.
"Yeah! Good idea! That'll make us go even faster!" He smiled and sent a wave of air forward.

You started to have second thoughts of this ride, but you just shrugged and continued to laugh as you four slid down across the city. Then you came across to a guard delivering on some mail and you all yelled. Another box popped up and you yelled some more as you hit it and fell off the slide.

Aang airbended to make sure you all hit the box and slid down some more. You crashed through a house and fell off a building, you holding onto Twig close to you. You then noticed the cabbage man again and hit his cart.
"My cabbages! You're gonna pay for this!" He shouted angrily as more guard surrounded you four.

"Well shit,"

"(Y/N), language!"

Well long story short, you all got arrested and now you're in front of the Omashu king, who was simply staring at you four.
"Your majesty, these juveniles were arrested for vandalism, traveling under false pretenses, in connections with a dangerous criminal, and malicious destruction of cabbages," The guard explained.

"Off with their heads! One for each head of cabbage!" The man yelled out, making you snort a little.
"Silence! Only the king can pass down judgement," The guard glared
"What is your judgement sire?" The king pondered for a moment, and a million thoughts went pass your head.

'Is he going to execute us? Mainly me for being the Delusional Bender? What if he knows what I can bend? Did I feed Twig earlier-'
"Throw them... a feast!" You snapped out of your thoughts and looked at him in confusion.

'Not what I was preparing myself for, but at least Twig will eat,' You shrugged. Later you four were all seated down, with food in front you of as you gave Twig a cookie.
"The people in my city have gotten fat from too many feasts. So I hope you like your chicken with no skin," The king chuckled.

"Thanks, but I don't eat meat," Aang smiled politely, but you could tell he was nervous.
"How about you? I bet you like meat," The king said to Sokka, who then shoved the chicken in his mouth.
"Is it just me, or is this guy's brown a little crooked?" Katara asked while twirling her finger.

"Definitely crooked, but you get used to the king's antics guys," You shrugged, taking a bite of a piece of fish.
"So, tell me young bald one, where are you from?" The king asked Aang as he sat down.
"I'm from, Kangaroo Island," You looked at him at his made up lie, but shrugged.

"Kangaroo Island eh? I hear that place is really hopping," The king joked. Only you and Sokka laughed at it.
"What? I thought it was funny," Sokka mumbled, making you nod in agreement.
'Some people just don't know true humor,' You thought with a snort.

"All these good jokes are making me tired," The king yawned as he was about to get up.
"Guess it's time to hit the hay," Suddenly, he threw a chicken leg at Aang, who instinctively used airbending to catch it.

The guards gasped as you saw the panicked eyes of the three, and you were just as worried.
"There's an Airbender in our presence. And not just any Airbender, The Avatar," The king said standing up. You sighed as you pinched the bridge of your nose.

"This is why we don't have nice things,"
