Chapter 36- This Is Not Good At All

"I know I said that I would come back home in a few minutes, but I'm sure they won't mind if I stay here with you water girl," You said to Katara as you both sat around in the base for General How.

"Thank you again for coming here, you know I can't make a crowd laugh," She whispered to you.
"I would do anything for you, a favor for the kiss," You teased, making her blush deeply. Just then, the generals came inside the base and sat down.

"General Fong's base will serve as the launching point for the attack. In exactly two months, the army and navy will invade the Fire Nation on the Day of Black Sun," General How said as he moved some pieces on the world map, which made Momo attack it.

"Or we could send in Momo to do some damage! 'Cause, the ... sorry," Katara joked, but it fell flat, so you patted her on the back.
"All we need is the Earth King's seal in order to execute the plan," General How slid a scroll towards you two and you picked it up.

"We'll get these scrolls to him right away. Thank you, General How,"

"I'm kinda thirsty," You whined as you were dragging yourself.
"Don't worry, there's a tea shop over there," Katara giggled and pointed to a building. Walking inside, you looked around, and heard a voice.

"Uncle! I need two jasmine, one green, and one lychee!"

"I'm brewing as fast as I can!"

Your eyes widen as you saw a familiar boy with the scar that he burdens with. A small smile was on your face as you also saw a familiar man with his love for tea
"Princey Zuzu... Iroh is here-!" Katara covered your mouth and quickly dragged you away, running to an alleyway.

"(Y/N)! What was that?!" She hissed as you struggled.
"Zuzu is here! And Iroh! I want to say hi!" You said and wanted to move, but Katara bended water to the wall so you would be pinned.

"Zuko hunted us down! Hurt us! And he hurt you! Why would you want to do that?!" She demanded.
"I-I don't know! He was my friend!" You shook your head as Twig and Momo ran up.

"(Y/N)! Please, I know that he was once your friend, but you must remember what he did!" Katara said with a stern yet pleading look on her face. You slowed down on your struggling, and hung your head low.

"I just... really miss him. He was my only friend before my dad died because of me. And after that, we never saw each other again until a week before you found Aang in the iceberg," You told her as you laid your head against her chest.

"He wasn't the same after I left, so I thought I could get back the Princey I knew... but you can't change people forcefully," You mumbled as Katara hugged you.
"I know, but right now, we need to go warn just in case," Katara said, but was still jealous about your attraction towards him.

"Let's go," Both of you running, you made it to the palace, running up the stairs and saw the door where the Kyoshi Warriors. Smiling, you were about to shout for them, until you suddenly felt a hold through your body again, and you turned around to see nothing behind you.

"Thank goodness you're here, Suki. Something terrible is going on. The Fire Nation has infiltrated the city, we just saw Prince Zuko and his uncle! We have to tell the Earth King right away!" Katara exclaimed showing them the scroll.

Turning back to see the Warriors, you froze as you saw them. None of them were Suki, you know her with all your heart, and she doesn't have brown eyes.
"Oh, don't worry, I'll be sure to let him know," Eyes widen as the voice of Azula, Twig and Momo screeched and took off running.

"(Y/N), run!" Katara shouted as she took out her water to bend and run, but Ty Lee quickly ran and blocked chi and knocked Katara out.
"Katara!!" You yelled and lifted rocks up to protect yourself, but then you felt something sharp hit your back.

Gasping in pain, you immediately felt droopy and you fell onto your side. Turning your head, your vision was foggy, and you could barely make out the figure of your brother standing behind a shaky figure of your sister, holding her bow.

"Fuck... I knew it..." You spat out, slowly taking the tranquilizer dart from your back, and weakly throwing at at your siblings.
"I must say little sister, those archery lessons paid off, didn't it?" You brother whispered to your sister as he held his flaming hand behind your sister's neck, as she shakily lowered her bow in fear.

"Just... don't hurt anyone else," She whimpered, closing her away as her guilt of betraying you.
"So, Zuzu's in the city, too? I think it's time for a family reunion," Azula smirked as she also pushed you so you're facing up.

"And, our love finally returned into our arms," She cooed as she caressed your unconscious face.
"Now then, I'll wait for my side of the deal princess Lala," Your brother crossed his arms, which made Azula roll her eyes.

"It was only a matter of time until I fully met the in-law inside you. After the fall of Ba Sing Se, your free reign of murder will be in your hands," She explained as she motioned Mai to pick you up over her shoulder.

"Perfect," Your brother smirked and placed his hand around your sister's neck.
"When everything is complete," He leaned in and squeezed her throat tighter, making her silently cry.

"You'll be my first victim on my kill list,"

Twig and Momo ran through the streets, and Twig made a noise to say that they're going to split up so Twig could check on his colony, making Momo nod and fly off.

Taking a corner, Twig made it to the house of your sister and mother's. Running through the open and burnt door, he saw that his colony was hiding under things, scared deeply. He cooed at them that it's okay and to come out, which they did.

A baby tiger monkey paws on Twig's fur, pointing at a door with the sounds of sobs from a woman. Twig ran into the room and saw a woman that was your mother, curled into a ball and crying.

Slowly, he crept over and placed a paw on her arm, making her gasp and whip around to see him, only to cry and hug Twig tightly.
"I-I'm so sorry (Y/N).... We weren't strong enough..." She choked out as broken sobs filled the house.

Twig closed his eyes and hugged your mother as the colony slowly walked inside to room, looking at each other and circled the woman.

"I'm sorry (D/N)... I couldn't protect her..."

"(Y/N)! Pebble, what are you doing?!" You heard your father shout as you lifted a giant boulder to bend into lava.

"Look dad! (B/N) said I could lavabend if I am aware of my surroundings! Watch me dad, I could show you I'm strong!" You grinned as you closed your eyes and moved your hand, the rock molting into lava.

"Pebble, it's not just you being strong! You can't control it because it could kill you!!" You sad shout and ran over to stop you.
"Stay back dad!" You pushed him back, and the lava was falling for your command.

"I got this!" You said and threw the lava back onto the gainer mountain that stood, hitting the earth.
"See!" You giggled, but then the lava a managed to break off multiple chucks of earth.
"We have to get out of here!" You dad picked you up and started to run as a avalanche started to form.

The lava you made flowed down quickly, and your dad hissed as he saw rocks ahead of you both falling.
"(Y/N), please tell your mom to protect you!" You dad said, making you confused.
"W-what?" You stammered as he saw more rocks falling just above you both.

"I'm sorry little Pebble," You dad whispered and kissed your forehead, before tossing you forward. You yelped in pain as the rocks finally crashed against the ground, a wave of dust hitting you as the lava hit first.

"Ow..." You whimpered, but then looked up to see the dust settling, and you couldn't see your dad anywhere.
"Dad....? Papa?...." You said, looking around and waving any dust away from your face.

"Dad!! Where are you?!" You called out, seeing the lava still flowing, you took a step back. From the rubble, you see a hand laying underneath the rocks, with a green fabric.

It was your dad.

"No... no no no no no no no no!!" Your eyes widen as you ran forward, sliding on your knees and quickly touching the hand, onto to pull away at the lack of pulse. Tears build up as you slowly grabbed the fabric from his hand, only to see his bandana that he always wore.

Shutting your eyes tight, you let out a loud and harsh scream, making the ground shake and the lava to be thrown back, hitting a tree and burning it up into flames.

Crying your heart out, you clutched the bandana to your chest, tears staining the dirt underneath you.

"...Dad..."
