"Oh Yeah! I Almost Forgot You At The Moment! Also Add How And When Did You Meet These Siblings! Without Us Being Aware !Do Come All Away From Start Please!"
Zaira nodded at Zamar and took a deep breath before voicing her vocals as everyone silently ushered her to speak.
"5 years back, I was disheartened that Zaviyaar left the country which literally made me heartbroken and restless.
Honestly.. I got that instant crush or maybe a strong liking or something, when I met him first time cause he ticked all those boxes in my mind of an potential guy.
I really liked him, No one knew except Zaarnish, I didn't know how to confess my feelings for him, and when I couraged up, he left.
Those friday white roses and was like a card of assurance to me from Zaviyaar, specially those secret gifts.
There was a point I accepted that he was just playing with my feelings all this time until Zaarnish pinned out something positive.
Couldn't be able to resist myself, I said my parents everything about him, they were thankfully weren't too disappointed at me.
I had a plan all this time in my mind and wanted to know why he left, because like every other human there's was feeling in me that knew he has genuine reason.
I made Dad ask some personal details of Zaviyaar from the university department, who the head obviously declined as it was against the policy.
But the one of the member of department was Dad's mate back then, with as much as he can, we could only get his parent's number and a guardian number.
We was already informed about his parents, so dad contacted the guardian's number, who was a widow, Mrs. Zane.
The one, who took care of Zawal until Zaviyaar wasn't there, She just said us about the siblings and their whereabouts.
Surprisingly or not our family was actually about to move to England right after my studies are complete.
We moved here soon, with all our efforts and finally after 2 years of moving we found out about these siblings as Iyads were Dad's new business partner."
"Wow! You got yourself into all of this and didn't bother to inform some bits to his friend? Best Friends?"
"It's not like that Zaryaab Bhai, I lost all my contacts when I changed my phone and phone number.
Aur sirf Zaarnish ka hi dil se yaad tha toh phele usko bataya jab yaha ayye.
(And it was Zaarnish's number was by noted by heart, so I firstly informed her as I was here.)
Also, why do you think Zaarnish made you move to England? Any idea Mr. Fatih?"
Zaira mischievously smirked at
Zaryaab and winked to his wife, who looked anywhere but her husband's glare.
"You knew it! You knew all this for a while now! And you didn't bother to spill it for your spouse to know about his buddy? YOU SAW ME AND ZAMAR, ALL STRUGGLING FOR THIS BEGAIRAT!"
"Hey, It's not her fault, I just said her that Zaviyaar is here in England, I didn't tell her other details.
Because Zaviyaar just use to ask me how are you guys doing, he never ask me for anything more in detail about you guys, so I thought he didn't want to and I never said her more."
Zaryaab punched Zaviyaar's shoulder, who grunted in pain but didn't utter anything knowing he deserves it.
"KYU BHAI, HUMARI YAAD NAI AYYI TUJHE!?"
(Why Bro, Didn't you miss us !?)
Zamar broke out of the reverie when Zaryaab's dramatic voice boomed in room where Zaviyaar just closed his eyes.
"Yeh chodh, woh secret gifts me tha kya? Mai be'chain hua jaraha hu!"
(Leave all this, tell me what's those secrets gifts consists of!? I'm running out of curiosity again!)
Zamar butted in Zaryaab out burst and leaned a little forwards to enquire his curiosity.
He seems to forget that someone was already sitted between him and his long lost best friend.
Zawal.
His left arm resting on the backrest, behind Zawal. Their faces cluelessly close enough.
"Ehm.. Umm.." Zaviyaar's vocals left him with his unspoken nervous words.
"His behaviour is literally making me think something Harami." Zamar slowly added resulting Zaryaab and Zawal to nod with a frown.
The guys along with Zawal deepen the frown as they saw Zaviyaar ears turning more red than it already was.
"Ab bol bhi dey, Sharmile Aashiq."
(Now spill it out already, Shy Romeo.)
"Please atleast tell if those were appropriate or ahem.. Not."
"You Wouldn't Believe What It Was! All That Secretive Love And Those Secretive Gifts Were So Much More You Could-"
"Abayas and Hijabs." Zaira said as she rolled her eyes at her best friend Zaarnish, being all dramatic.
"Abayaaas and Hijaaabs?" Zawal asked doubting if she misheard Zaira whilst as Zamar and Zaryaab weirdly frowned.
"Yes, Hijabs and Abayas."
"Hein? Bhai ki soocch- Yaar matlab! Maa'Sha'Allah!"
(Huh? His thinking-I mean Maa'Sha'Allah!)
Zamar exclaimed amusingly, his position didn't move an inch from before.
Zamar's forehead slightly bumped with Zawal's, when she was about to turn to him with her reaction answer.
Thats when he moved back, a little, wincing and soothing at the spot as he gazed her with scrunched nose, while she followed his actions.
The surrounding across them paused while the orbs stared deep into one another's.
The stormy greys eyes examined the beauty of the those amber orbs with specks of green.
He's intense stare was making her doubt her own eyes, Zawal could feel his gaze piercing her soul right through her eyes.
Both unaware of the fact that those eyes were stepped up giving titles to their untitled hearts.
Receiving lyrics to unknown humming rhythms in their mind.
Gifted with blissful words to their own lonely poems.
They were beaming the chapters to their silent stories.
A voice of throat being loudly cleared, brought them back from their chaotic unvocalised thoughts.
"Umm.. Yeah, that's so thoughtful of you, Brave. Now, completely understand why was my brother asking for abaya and hijab brands.
My brother is so smart that he knew I might think, he's asking for his sister though I did think, when I was receiving some from my brother! Bravo Brave.
I'm letting you go this time, make sure there's no next time." Zawal explained her sides of the story and warned her brother already.
"Sure, Sunset, There's one more thing, which is unknown to you guys, except Zawal and Zaira of course." Zaviyaar said with nervousness and hesitation evident in his voice.
"Abhi aur bhi kuch hai? Bol Bhai."
(What's more to be spilled? Let it out bruh.)
Zaryaab said deeply sighing as him and the rest, waited for what's coming next.
"I and Zaira got N-Nikkahfied, a year back."
Zaryaab and Zamar looked dumbfounded at their long lost best friend with their jaw dropped at it lowest.
"Wow! JUST WOW! I mean, one of my best friend or that's what I thought I've, got Nikkahfied last year and the other one got married few months back.
Alright, Alright! I've nothing to say, I won't even say that I'm hurt because I didn't attend my best friend's Nikkah.
Zamar dramatically said with all those genuine hurt written over his face.
"Zaviyaar! Tune mere shadi ki biryani lekin maine tere shadi ki nahi! DUDE! THAT'S CLEARY UNFAIR."
(You had my wedding food but I didn't dig in yours!)
Zaryaab also added with a face that said he's been cheated.
"Oh Bhai! Fair aur Unfair ki toh baat hi nahi karro! Dono kamine shadi karliye aur mera soche bhi nai, Sahi hai!" Zamar said with a sarcastic smile adorned
(Oh Bro! Dont even get started with fair and unfair! You both got married and didn't get a chance bother for me, that's alright!)
"What do you want them to do? Get married to you?"
Zamar just pulled up a poker face to showcase Zawal, who said it as a matter of fact.
"Huh, Kuch Kuch Hotta Hai Red Velvet, Tum Nahi Samjhogi.
Jisse tum Brave kehti ho na? Wo bada darpook hai! Kasam Se!"
(Something strange happens Red Velvet, you won't understand.
The one you address Brave is actually a bad coward! I swear!)
"Acha? Toh explain me, Didn't you get any girl? Specially when you were the one who would usually go to girls hostel?"
Zamar anxiously looked over his best friends, who's lips were pulled up into a very well known smirk.
"Tell me, tumare jaise bande ki ek toh thi hogi!"
(I'm sure a guy like you, definitely or at least had one!)
Zawal said when she saw how he sat with innocence as if nothing just happened or was asked.
"Thi na?"
( There was, right?)
"Umm... Thi ek."
(Just One.)
Zamal finally replied as he bit his bottom lip and scratched his head which made Zawal smirk too.
He answered like just another desi guy.
"Not surprised, it obvious that, being a guy you're and had been to girls block a lot of time for your friends but still didn't get one for himself?
Impossible!Anyways, where's she now? I wanna know about her!"
"Here comes another tale, Her name was Zenia, I met her when I use to do deliveries there, she lived in the dorm next to Zaira and Zaarnish's.
Zenia once questioned me on my appearance and after occasionally meets, we kinda dated from there.
We broke up few months back, in the chaos of Zaryaab's wedding, she said I wasn't giving her enough time and she wants to end this up.
But but but, that hurt my man ego and, all I did was to cockily say that I was about to end it even before she insisted."
"Jerk, that's nothing in it to be proud of, you played with her feelings for what? 5 freaking years?"
"Hey! I literally thought she loves me and cares about me and so did I! Not completely love though, but no matter what, I stay loyal in relationships.
But she always cheated on me, Zenia had over too many relationships behind my back in these 4-5 years and I couldn't care less.
I was about to fall in love with the time she spent with me, half of the day she use to be with me and late night calls of her."
"Zahir hai, Itna agar ghade se bhi baat kar lete, toh usse bhi mohabbat hojati."
(Even if he talked that much to Donkey, you would've fall in love with her too.)
Zawal said as she rolled her ethereal eyes at Zamar.
"But why did you still dated her, when you knew she was cheating on you?" Zawal curiously asked again, which only made Zamar smirk.
"I and Zaryaab were doing our internship at her father's company and basically, she was an apple of the Ceo's eyes.
The internship was done within two years of course but I needed the secret of their company success, which was incredibly rising year by year.
I needed secrets and I knew how to reach them, through Zenia.
Call me evil or mean because maybe I'm, I confessed my 'liking' slash 'love' for Zenia to her father Mr. Zoyan Alan and BAM!
Zenia was over moon at time and smoothly I got myself employed there for a span of time instead of taking over my Dad's company.
I dropped once I took over 'The Alyan's' with Alan secrets, not that I was going to use those tricks of success but to use against them."
"Dang! No doubt you made into girls block, smart, sneaky and secretive, I like it!" Zawal said clearly amazed and amused at Zamar and playfully punched his arm.
Zamar fake arrogantly shrugged and his inner battle to ignore those tingles while she chuckled to the same.
"Secretive? Yeah, that's exactly the meaning of his name. Also Zamar, My Walimah isn't held yet and now I figured it out why Zaira wanted it to wait for an year."
"Meherbani aapki! And I decided, I won't get married until one of your or Zaryaab's kids arrive." (That's so kind of you.)
Zamar's statement made Zaviyaar widely smirk at the other member of the squad, Zaryaab.
Zaryaab sat there with wide eyes as he gulped inaudibly, he could feel his spouse boring holes at the side of his head with her silent glares.
"Woh din dur nahi, Mars. Teri shadi ki taiyaari shuru karle."
(That day isn't far, Mars. Start preparing for your wedding.) Zaviyaar said with hidden excitement dripping from his voice.
"Shadi ki taiyaari? Huh ladhki toh-WAIT WHAT!? ZAVIYAAR YOUR VALIMAH ISN'T HELD YET! THEN HOW!"
(Wedding preparation? Let me find a gir-)
Zamar's remarks only made Zaviyaar smirk wider, his eyes not leaving the couple.
"Zaryaab, tu bolraha ya mai bolu?"
(Are you spilling it already or you want me to?)
Zaryaab's eyes wide as saucer as he stared at the grinning Zaviyaar.
He immediately turned towards his spouses, who was shooting daggers going all scarlet.
"Wallahi, I Didn't Say A Word!"
"I Don't Trust You In This!" Zaarnish slowly said as she gritted her teeth and not meeting none's eyes in nervousness.
"Zaryaab Zaarnish? Fine! I'll say it!" Zaviyaar excitedly sat straight to loudly announce what he was waiting for.
"Zamar Alyan, We are going to be MACHOS!"
"Machos?... Mamaaa plus Chachooo is equaaal tooo Mach-MACHOS! MACHOS! MACHOS!"
Zamar initially mumbled to himself and started screaming as the realisation hit him hard.
"How?" Zaryaab mouthed to Zaviyaar, who cockily shrugged with his excitement obvious grin.
"Remember I said, I had tabs on you guys and then 'maybe', 'mistakenly' I might have seen the not newly but a wedded couple visiting hospitals.
For I guess was monthly visits or something, but for confirmation, I let my spouse confirm that, Ask your spouse Zaryaab."
Zaarnish sheepishly smiled at Zaryaab, who jaw hung low at how his lovely wife betrayed him and his other friend knew all way along.
He held his head in his hands and deeply sighed whereas Zaviyaar with full force patted his shoulder.
Well, Zamar was currently a lost case in excitement, standing as if he couldn't believe, the grin not leaving his face.
"And I thought its just between me and my wife."
"It is, it just between you and wife. We're just celebrating." Zaviyaar mischievously said and winked at his best friend, who made at face at his haraminess.
"Kamino, Mubaraak-baat toh dedo!" (Congratulate at least!)
"LAAGG JAA GAALEE KI PHIR YE HASEEN RAAT-"
(Embrace me, who knows whether or not this beautiful night will ever come aga--"
"Aye Shush! Just congratulate him, already!" Zawal said controlling her laugh as she interrupted Zamar's loud vocals.
"Right, haseen raat kabka ho chuki hai, shydh."
(I guess the beautiful night's already done.)
Zamar shamelessly yet sheepishly grinned back at wide eye Zawal.
He paced over his friend for a group hug along with Zaviyaar, not before punching both of their shoulders.
Right after Zaira, Zawal gave a tight and safe hug to Zaarnish, who was completely crimson by the end of the evening, which wasn't end yet.
"Zawal.. Umm.. Meri wife, mera matlab abhi toh... Samjhre na kya bolna chah rahu."
(My Wife -I mean, it's just--you what I mean, right?)
"Possessive, huh!" Zamar mimicked as he fake girly bumped his shoulder with Zaryaab and giggled with Zaviyaar.
"Party kab hai?"
(When is the party?)
Zaviyaar said as he kept his hand of Zaryaab's shoulder while Zamar nodded in agreement.
"What was it today then?"
"Tch, that was fine dinner and a Party is still due, I don't know how is he going to raise his kids.
He doesn't even know the difference between Dinner and Party, tch tch.
Zaarnish Bhabhi, fikar nai karro, Seekh jayega Zaryaab waqt ke sath, bacche jaisa dimag ka iska lekin, seh lenge thoda."
(Don't worry, He will learn with a lot of time, with that child-like mind, you will bear it a little.)
Zamar said giving a side hug to Zaarnish ignoring Zaryaab who had a poker face masked.
"Log party me dinner karte, tumlog dinner me party karlo."
(People have dinner at the party, you guys party at the dinner.)
He said and tagged along his spouse on his way to kitchen for sweets.
"Kanjoos Marega Tu!"
(You Will Die As Greed Too!)
❖❖❖
"Yo! Red Velvet! Glad, I got you here itself." Zamar breathed out as he jogged to where Zawal was, the apartment entry and exit gate.
"These parcel of yours, I received this delivery this morning, here you go." He said forwarding the small box with brownish cover wrapped.
Zawal, who failed to noticed the package all way long as she was busy gawking his stormy thunder eyes.
"Thanks verified Delivery Guy but don't you think deliveries are to be delivered at door step?" She jokingly said as she pulled her sunglasses and rested it on the top her hijab.
"Verified?"
"Yes you've a lot of experience I noticed and that means you're ticked with verification. So Verified!"
Giving her a look, dead face of half open eyes, he pushed the the package in her hands and sarcasticly smiled at her.
"Huff and about that delivery at door step? Until and unless you get it shipped and receive on time, it's delivered, place doesn't matter.
Is that too much to understand, Ma'am?" Zamar sarcastic words and the way his hands clasped in front of him made her laugh.
With a cheeky grin she took the package as an return to his eye roll, she examined the package with narrow eyes.
Those stormy orbs followed her eye move as she then and there tore the cover and peeked inside to check followed by a satisfactory smile.
A simple smile was playing games with his plain heart, vacant mind and tingling nerves.
"I would like to give you a 4.3 ratings as I didn't received the delivery on my door step."
"4.3 ratings." He mimicked her under his breath in a low girly, aware it was audible enough for the people who just passed by him, plus who was in front of him.
"Do me a favor-"
"Let's play Holi?"
"Shut Up, Zamar Alyan." Zawal said making a cringe face which was enough her him to laugh at her expression.
"Khair, Can you keep it for now, I'm going out and don't worry. I will be the one, who'll come to receive-"
He didn't let her complete and rushed to reach the view the sky, the cloudy moonless night still had twinkling stars and a warm blanketed weather.
Zawal weirdly saw him as Zamar dramatically came back to her and stood in front of her with his hand on his chest.
"Chand nikla kaha se dekhne gaya tha! Matlab aap khud humare pass ayengi!"
(I wanted to the direction moon rised from? I mean, You. Yourself will be coming to get it!)
She rolled her eyes at his dramatics as a traitor smile crept up her lips while he laughed at himself and took the package.
"Alright there, it's safe with me,what is it though? I mean I deserve to know what's in the mystery package with me."
"Oh! You see it's small, so I guess the agency sent few small handy drug sachets, nothing dangerous.
I remember them saying my revolver will be arriving a week after. Yeah, that's it."
He gasped dramatically doubting what he had for breakfast and what got into him while she narrowed her eyes at him before moving them to her wrist watch.
"Anyways, I need to be somewhere now and I think it might take long to be back and as all my orders are to delivered to your address now.
There are going too much orders to be shipped today and that means you'll be receiving loads of deliveries.
I'll be kind here and get them myself from you, get that Delivery Boy?" Zawal said playfully raising her eyebrow, only to receive his another dramatic reply.
"Intezaar rahega aapka!"
(Will wait for you.)
❖❖❖
"Agh! These Orders Are Going To Be The Dead Of Me!" Zamar muttered to himself as he set the nth package of the day.
All the orders were medium sized boxes to which he made a pyramid when ever he received one.
He groaned as another ring of bell fell upon his ears, flipping the laptop close and sighed in helplessness.
Closing the door with a fake polite smile at the 16th delivery guy of the day, Zamar kept it with the rest deliveries as he glared at them.
"The owner of this flat is no more! He's dead. Mar gaya woh!"(He died!)
He grumpily said to no one in particular when the bell rung again.
He uninterestedly pulled the main door open and glared at the person on the other side of the door, who's lips were curved into a sheepish smile.
"Itni jaldi kaise agayi hain aap."
(How did you come so early?)
"Yaar, I didn't expect my work to take much time but unfortunately it did. I'm Sorry?" Zawal said sheepishly grinning at him while Zamar rolled his ethereal eyes.
He moved aside for her to enter and have a look at her prized possessions.
"It's supposed to be 17 box packages, one more to g- Oh! Here it is." Zawal excitedly said as she counted the boxes, just when another bell rung.
Zamar growled and came back and pushed it her hands with an purely irritated face to which she widely smiled and soon frowned.
"This package seems so small then the others, Did I forgot something I ordered? Did my set of earnings arrived? Or my top? It must shoes, but which pair?" Zawal confusingly thought at she tore the package.
"Why do you shop so much? See you don't even remember and they are other people around the world, who doesn't even have new clothes for Eid--" Before Zamar could complete, the bell rang again.
"--Tumari yeh online shopping ke deliveries kisi din bell todh degi mere ghar ka, akar din bhi kitne hue hain."
(This online shopping deliveries of yours will break the bell of my house someday, it's not even so many days I'm here.)
He mumbled and went to pull the door open again.
He boringly opened the door with his head hung low and forwarded his hand to take the other delivery, or that's what he thought.
He frozed when his eyes caught the persons at the other side of the door.
His throat was too clogged up to say anything whereas Zawal was too loud to his disappointment and coming dismay.
"WOW! This Is Awfully Small With An Awful Shade!"
He had zero idea of the dress Zawal was loud about.
But the reaction of the persons standing in front of him with their eyes wide at the sight behind him, gave him the point its actually awful.
He didn't knew that the dress was currently held by the fingertips of Zawal, who held it high to examine.
"Who In The World Wears Neon Shade In This Dress, Specially? Like Seriously? A Spaghetti Straps Mid Thigh Hugging Dress In Neon Yellow?
A Definite Solid No No!
Would look better in scarlet red, even better if it's for seducing, What say Mars?"
Zawal jokingly added to more of Zamar's dead wish, she had no sense of idea, who's at the door with him.
She turned around when she didn't receive any reply, her eyes widen seeing a almost pale Zamar, who audible gulp.
It was enough for Zawal to drop the dress instantly as she realized who were they, his face said that out loud, finally followed by his vocals.
"M-Mom.. D-Dad..."
