If I'm Not Human What am I

Kyouya laid in his room tucked away from the world, it had been at least three weeks since everything happened. His eye was still behind a bandage while the buzzing had stopped going off in his ears, the internal feeling of something else running in his veins remained the same.

"What am I..," he whimpered as he looked at the corner of his room where his canopy bed met the dark green wall.

"Shinx..,"

He turned slightly inward to hide his face in his pillow as a blue paw pushed on his hair. Before the small lion cub fell down and laid across his head.

"Shinx," it whined

"Paul, it's been three weeks, he's not him anymore," Dawn said her hands folded in her lap as her and her husband sat at opposite ends of the table

Her face was held low and her hair was falling off her shoulders, she looked as defeated as Paul did. He too was more interested in the dark wood of the table then making eye contact with his wife, what was he to do...

"I know, but what-,"

"Mamma, Papa...why dno Ke-yoya play with us nos more," Kia their youngest son asked his blue eyes shining up at his mother, who tenderly rubbed his purple hair

"Baby, Kyouya just isn't feeling well,"

"Why, is him sick?,"

"No son, he's not sick," Paul said as he stood up

"Paul-,"

But he just shook his head before locking himself up in his office, like normal now days. Kyouya stayed in his room, and Paul stayed locked up in his office while the other three, human, family members stayed unsure what to do...

Dawn set to work making supper with the help of the other two triplets. Dusk was in charge of measuring the ingredients while Kia mixed and helped Dawn move things from counter to stove. Of course Dusk was also in change of barking the orders. But a quick look from his mother hushed his fathers attitude from the boy.  After everything was in motion Paul walked by the kitchen heading towards the door.

"Paul wait," as she chased him outside

He stood a few feet from the porch his hands in his pockets while his back was to her, she stood there on the ended just before the stairs waiting

"I'll be home for dinner don't worry,"

"But Paul-,"

"I just need to cool my head. I promise,"

Dawn nodded and returned inside to meet the two set of worried eyes, smiling she hurried them back to the kitchen to continue cooking

And true to his words Paul walked in the house at 6, as Dawn was setting the table of course it was no surprise a certain member was missing. Paul nodded to Dawn as he walked towards the boys room. Knocking he entered the room. Toys and clothes strobe here and there in the look of a fit, the one he threw when he came home...., laid up in a ball with Shinx over his head was Kyouya. His sleep didn't look restful and the red tear streaks down his cheeks only made things hurt more.

Paul returned down stairs where he saw Dawn had finished setting he table and had the food out of the oven. The other two boys say in their "assigned" seats leaving the chair next to Dusk empty.

"I'll eat later,"

"But daddy," Dusk started

"Dusk-dusk leave daddy be he's probably just not hungry," his mother said as she eyes her husband who returned to his office

---

Kyouya stirred in his sleep, before slowly sitting up causing Shinx to roll into his stomach. Looking around he knew it was dark out, for his room was very dark and there was no sunlight coming from his window.

"Shinx..,"

"I'm hungry,"

As he scooted out of his bed he looked at his clock, knowing when the tail of Riachu pointed down and the little tail of Pikachu pointed up it was when they ate dinner but now. The Riachu tail was pointed almost all the way up while the Pikachu tail was pointed down. Feeling disappointed Kyouya turned on his bedroom light to see all his stuff no longer on the floor. It was all picked up and put nearly where his mamma always said it was to go.

"Maybe mamma cleaned up my room," he said before his stomach growled along with Shinx's

Opening the door the little boy walked to stairway where the bottom of the house was dark turning back towards his brothers rooms they too dark he felt a lump in his throat. They ate with out him. A glow from behind the stairs from the double stairway caught his attention that was his daddy's office. Slowly he went down the stairs and across the house to the other side where he saw the door to the office open a tad bit. A shadow dancing about, as he looked inside.

Shinx pawed the door open more as they walked toward the desk in the middle his fathers hair viable over the computer screen. As Kyouya reached the desk he stood there waiting to be noticed.

"You hungry?," was all his father said before Kyouya was making his way to the kitchen where Paul went to work fixing their plates and setting them on the table

They were quiet while they ate Paul watched as Kyouya shoveled the food into his mouth he ate faster then anything Paul had every seen.

"Kyouya..,"

Still the boy shoveled it in until he dropped his utensils and started grabbing it with his hands.

"Kyouya!,"

But the boy continued to eat as if something inside him was un satisfied. Paul jumped up and grabbed the small boys hand. Kyouya looked up at his father as the food in his hand dropped down on the table

"Whhhut?," he asked tilting his head

"Slow down its not going anywhere," Paul said as he let go of his hand

"Ok Daddy,"

They finished their meal in silence, before Kyouya let out a burp and went to put his plate up in the sink. Paul watched as the boy seamed to change on the spot a new look coming to his features. His eye darting around before he turned to every corner he was watching everything taking it all in. Paul was almost convinced what stood before him was a young Pokemon more then his young son.

"Kyouya maybe we can watch some tv or-,"

"Can we go outside,"

"Son it's late, it's too late for that,"

"Not even to the battlefield,"

"The Pokemon are asleep out there, we would wake them,"

"But I want to go see them,"

"What who,"

"The outside,"

"Kyouya. What are you saying,"

"I dunno daddy I just wanna go see them,"

"Only if your quiet I guess,"

They walked out the back door straight into the outside battlefield, it was glassed in and all over the field where groups of Pokemon asleep except for two. Electivire and Pachirisu.

"I heard y'all talking,"

Paul stood back as his eyes widen small electric lines went from the three, and Kyouya's face seamed relaxed and cheerful as they continued. Paul knew what this meant between Pokemon that electric types talked this way but Kyouya he wasn't a Pokemon, he was a boy a human boy!

"Stay calm,"

Paul felt something in his head

"Zoroark..,"

"Stay calm, there is much to learn from this,"

Dawn's scientifically improved Shiny Zoroark sat looking at him, as Paul watched his son.

"This is Kyouya now,"
