Running. I am running from a man who is about to hurt me and looking for a boy who may or may not love me. My eyes blur and tears stream down my face with the possibility of facing death as my captor is 3 metres behind me.

I have no other option but to keep running hoping he will somehow trip or lose sight of me.

I risk a look to see where he is... "that's odd, where is he?" Before I can process another thought, my clumsiness side awakes as I trip.

"Owwww!" My foot must have lost footing. My hands are covered in dirt and my jeans are muddy.

"Shit!" I must have twisted my ankle. I can still hear him coming closer and closer towards me. I have 20 seconds before he would reach me.

"I'm going to die, he's going to kill me. The police will find my body and it's going to be in the papers. My Aunt will find out but will never know what happened!"

Panic swirled in my stomach as I calmed my beating heart and closed my eyes. "What would Noah do?" "What would he say to me if he was here?"

I knew what I had to do.

I opened my eyes, stood up wincing at the pain of my ankle and ran. If I was going to die I wanted my trace to be on every tree my hand touched. I knew where I was going but blew away the doubt that had clouded my thoughts.
My run slows to a jog and I walk towards my impending doom.

50 feet high I stood on the edge of the cliff looking down. I quickly take off my trainers and caught a glimpse of a figure running towards me. I was ready.

"You have no where to go now little Avril, now be a good girl and come towards me. I promise the death won't be painful and you will feel nothing." He said grinning.

For a second I nearly gave away. I was tired of everything that had happened during the last few months and only wanted an end to everything I had gone through.

"No... I'm not stepping away from the cliff". My voice broke.

He smiled "Suit yourself!"
He stepped towards me and I took another step back.

"Don't make this difficult for yourself. You have no way out!" Anger shown in his voice.

I smiled and held his gaze. "There is always a way out. Noah will find me and I know he will change time for me."

I could hear his snarl as he lunged towards me. At that moment I braced myself and jumped off the cliff and felt my heart and stomach go down with the difficulty to breathe. I awoke with the freezing ice water that had jolted and shocked every single one of my cells.

"Ha I made it! I'm not dead!"

That's when I felt a strong pull grabbing my leg and pulling me underwater.

He pulled me down.
"Aarrrggh help... I can't breathe!!!" His strong hands held a grip on my neck as he squeezes attempting to strangle me.

"I told you not to jump and I gave you a choice to have a painless death. If this is the case on how I will ought to kill you. So I shall!"

My eyes closed and I stopped kicking. I lost the will to fight and felt the air and oxygen leaving. My head was getting dizzy and my body was frozen.

"Please Noah help me!" I thought. "I'm sorry for letting you and everyone down..."

My final breath left me....
