I stayed in my room for a few days to heal up, My arm's still hurt and my head was still bandaged up from Grej's kick to my head. However Lola has been teaching me what I'll have to do when we arrive back at Lyra's Castle, It turns out Lyra was living in a castle near the seaside with a beautiful view over the beach.

I was already imagining it but Lola snapped me out of it, making her giggle as I shook my head to her snapping her fingers to grab my attention.

"So, why Did Lyra need me anyways if she's royalty, wouldn't she have servants at the ready?"

"Oh...uhhmmmm...long story short, they revolted and most of Lyra's servants left... I remained as her cook while Brigett is her battle instructor... As for you, I think you'll be her personal bodyguard when you're good enough, as for now, I think she'll make you run laps around the new house...? castle...? new castle!"

"new castle? What are you talking about Lola?"

"oh sh*t, Well umm, It's supposed to be a secret... But, about the seaside castle. Lyra's parents bought it for her to stay in as a birthday gift, we went and took a look, the furniture we hope is already out of there, but we still have to paint the whole place... We'll just have to see what's under it, and then we'll have to install all of the equipment into the place..." Lola told me as I just sat there, my head low as I just nodded. Letting myself already know that I had rounds to run all around.

"Let's look at it on the bright side though, it has a massive backyard that comes with the castle and is our own. We can do whatever we want with it now!" She said as she looked at me and smiled, slightly tilting her head as I just looked away, somehow I just wanted Jack or Christopher to just burst through the door and save me from Lola's lessons of boredom.

"umm... Where's Jack and Christopher?" I asked Lola as she looked at me before looking back at the box. she was putting some stuff away and pulling out something else.

"the two of them actually only accompany us during our adventures, otherwise, your actually the Black mareep in our group." She said as I just went pale right away. Me being with three girls under one roof somehow made me start to feel like the deal with Lyra was more of a trap than an actually good deal. However, my mind slightly blacked out as I just looked at Lola for a second, a slight blush flared as she also looked me in the eyes, the two of us just staring at each other in awkward silence as her face seemed to go a bit darker until it was red.

"well umm... That happened." I said breaking the silence. As Lola shook her head before she chuckled a bit, I however, took off my helmet and took out my notebook as Lola raised an eye brow and came next to me, however I pushed her back before holding up a thumb in front of her face, she was confused at first before I went back to drawing her. She of course went back, and to my suprise, sat down on the end of the bed, her left arm holding her up, showing me her back as she looked at by turning her head towards my face.

"want me to draw you like that?" I asked as she just gave me a simple nod before smiling at me, I chuckled slightly and began drawing her again on another piece of paper since I had nothing better to do, I mostly drew her figure first and then her arms and fur that extended beyond her hand, drawing her shadow. I knew where the light source was, her figure was down, and if I ever needed something, I'd just look at her and continue drawing her.

I was a bit shocked as she rubbed my head, rubbing through my long metallic hair and chuckling a little before hugging me face on, I felt like I'd have blood coming out of my nose any second if she didn't pull away, thankfully she did and Brigett came into my room, looking at me and then at Lola.

"Lola, we have some packing to do, Christopher and Jack were ahead to scout for us along with Persz. Grej will be accompanying us on our journey. You too Hellas, get packing."

"yeah yeah... Get packed and make sure Lyra's comfortable... Got it." I said as Brigett looked at Lola before looking back at me and nodding, I just sighed and grabbed my stuff and put it away in the small bag I got from Grej. Some of my belongings were berries and herbs, I even thought about putting my notebook in it, but didn't want anything too valuable so I kept it under my helmet for the time being.

When I was finished I came out of the house, feeling the bandages all over my head, feeling my head throb once again as it hurt. However, I had a job to do.

To my suprise, Lola and Brigett were already ahead of me and Lyra was still packing. I felt Lyra playfully push up against me before Elizabeth intervened.

"Lyra, get your other half out of the sky and make sure you bury it six feet underground."

"What other half?"

"Oh, so you tell him you're a hemomancer but not that your half succubus?" Elizabeth asked as my eyes widened and I almost jumped back a bit, but then perhaps I was a bit blind, maybe yesterday evening she did let it off a little but held it back. However, unlike what I thought, she felt a bit... Affectionate rather than needy.

" I'm sorry grandma, but you know that it's drawing near..." She said, whimpering slightly as Elizabeth placed a paw onto her face and looked at Lyra.

"Honey, don't worry about it, but please cool off differently, not by trying to charm your butler."

"w-wait what?" I asked as Elizabeth looked back at me with eyes of disapproval before looking at Lyra.

"what's with this whole thing?" I asked myself as I got onto the raft and waited for Lyra to get on as well. Eventually she did after her grandmother told her some stuff that I didn't listen to as I personally got nothing out of it, and it would have been a bit embarrassing to eavesdrop once more even though they didn't seem to want to hide it from me.

Once we reached the bottom and hit the water I grabbed a paddle and began rowing us towards the bank where the raft would be picked up once more as we would get into our carts, I somehow felt like something bad was going to happen to us. Just from the scene alone I felt, Dread and fear, Slowly coiling around myself before I rubbed my eyes and slapped myself on the cheek, Lyra looked at me with a raised eyebrow. I looked at her as she chuckled a little from my reaction.

"Alright, new rule, you can touch me but keep it normal." She said as I sighed.

"You know, you could have told me about this sooner..."

"sorry, but I doubt you would have liked being near me if you knew what I was deep inside. Most of my old servants even quit right after finding out, most of them were males, I guess you can determine why."

She said in a saddened tone, I sighed and almost immediately took advantage of the new rule by rubbing the top of her head. Making me only chuckled slightly as she pushed her head into my gauntlet, closing her eyes and seeming to enjoy the gentle rub.

"well... I mean you're kinda correct on that one, but still... You left me in the dark, so could you please at least tell me these things beforehand, I don't like it when I have more questions then answers."i said as Lyra sighed and just nodded before looking at me again.

"Care to pet me a bit more?" She asked me as I sighed and went back to rubbing her head, however she bit my hand this time, making me yank it away, Lyra giggled a little bit as she licked her lips as I looked at my gauntlet, a small amount of blood was dripping down it, Lyra licked the blood off her lips and teeth I almost cringed a bit before realising she was a hemomancer, someone who can control blood and can feed off of it.

"can you next time also warn me if youre hungry?"

"It only tastes good if it comes out of nowhere." She responded as I just brought our stuff over to the carts I packed up many of our stuff until I got into the cart itself. Sitting next to Lyra who was writing a letter, It was nicely written compared to my handwriting she however surprised me a little by leaning onto me as she kept on writing, I somehow felt like she was trying to open up to me a little, which felt nice in a way, feeling like someone was there for me.

"Lyra... Can I ask you something... Personal?" I asked as Lyra backed off a bit before looking at me.

"sure... What's troubling you?" She asked as I looked around, seeing everyone in front of us on the cart ahead, Grej being the only one behind us on his own cart, his cape on himself once more as he just took a nap and was already asleep.

"uhmm... How do you plan on getting by?" I asked her as she looked at me before sighing and grabbing her glasses from the side and putting it on.

"well, my sister's are going to help me a little and they might live with me as well, my mother will unfortunately continue to live with my father."

"unfortunately?"

"yeah.. Unfortunately since I bring in most of the income with my sisters, my mother makes little to no money and my father just sits around all day doing nothing but watch us from afar. He's been a burden on our family for far too long honestly."

"Isn't it a bit harsh to talk about your father like that? I mean he probably has some kind of good quality to him."

"besides being a charmer, he's a burden on all of us, trust me, the last time I recall him praising anyone was... Uhmm... You know what, forget about it."

"why?"

She just sighed as she looked up into the air before taking a bracelet from nearby and pushing a finger through, I immediately got the hint and just shut it.

"Now my turn... I'd also like to ask you a question." Lyra said as I looked at her.

"Alright, fire away."

"have you ever kissed someone?"

"on the cheeks,yes... I've kissed my mother on the cheek quite regularly before I was exiled, however if its lip to lip, no... I haven't unfortunately... I'm still looking for a wife however, someone who I love with all my heart and can feel like I don't want to live another day without her."

I said as I was caught off guard by Lyra placing a paw on my left cheek and pulling my face towards her, she grabbed her glasses and put it aside as she placed another paw onto the back of my head and slowly closed in, I however tried to escape but got beaten to it as Lola walked in and tackled me to the ground next to Lyra who seemed to pout slightly before putting her glasses back on and just sighing before continuing her work.

"You two were going to kiss weren't ya?~" Lola asked a bit seductively as she giggle once Lyra sighed through her nose like a tauros, a bit mad about what she just did, I just grabbed Lola by her shoulder and set her aside, slowly feeling my head hurt even more, placing a gauntlet against my head as I felt it throbb a little as I groaned a bit.

"Lola, get off his nerves, he needs some rest." Lyra said as Lola just nodded and went away from me, I slowly got myself up and went over to the bed in my corner of the cart and layed down, panting heavily as I felt my head continue to throbb a bit as I fell asleep, however as I just layed there with my arms open I began to feel warmth around my body as I slowly peered my eyes open in the middle of the night, a claw on my shoulder as Lyra was atop of me asleep, I didn't have the courage to move as she was sleeping quite peacefully, I slowly placed one of my gauntlets onto her head and began to rub a little, she moved a bit from it, looking at me as she opened her crimson red eyes and looked at me, she however moved a bit, stretching ontop of me before getting up and leaning forwards, stretching her back legs as well, I only watched as her stomach and chest were pushed up to my face.

"care to hold my back and hips Hellas?~" I heard her ask as I just looked at her face, grabbing what she asked me to hold as She nuzzled her face into my chest once again, my body was almost pushed down by her as she smiled lightly before grabbing something from between us, I soon realised it was Elizabeth's Mega stone, Lyra seemed to accept it as a gift. She was quite heavy for one thing, pinning me under herself as she slowly pushed herself up my body, dragging one of her claws along my side, making me shiver slightly as I felt something run down my spine, once she pulled herself completly up we were face to face, she slowly placed her mouth up against mine slightly, pushing it aside before going in for a kiss, I was still shocked completly, feeling like it all was so real yet felt like a heavenly dream.

My hands couldn't help it but wrap around her body as I pulled her closer to myself as I slowly turned my head, making our lips connect more as Lyra seemed to drag her now massive claws to the back of my head, slowly I felt my body wanting more and a bright light was coming off my helmet as Lyra pulled away.

"Do you have something under your helmet Hellas?" She asked quietly as I looked at my helmet and took it off, letting my hair flow down my bed, Lyra seemed a bit flustered as she just looked at me. I slowly grabbed the glowing orb under my helmet, a mega stone. I slowly looked at her as I felt my body being wrapped up in light, feeling myself grow way beyond just simply strong. My body shivering slightly when it ended, Lyra was only looking at me a bit more as I finally placed my gauntlets onto her back, however I felt them sink a bit. When I looked at them they weren't gauntlets anymore but rather gloves, boxing gloves, the spike was still on the outer side and my helmet changed from a single disk like blade pertruding from it to two massively long horns going out of my boxing helmet and then having a sharp turn, almost like a hook, the blades on my sides also dissappeared as six flaps were visable coming out of my two shoulder pads.

"Hellas...y-you can mega evolve?" She asked as I was looking at myself for a little while.

"seems so... This is also new to me too you know..." I said as she then looked down at my body as well as she got up slightly.

"not going to lie... I'm digging it~" Lyra said as she went in for another kiss on my lips, I did the same, kissing her back as I placed my hands onto her back and brought them upwards until I got to touch her wings, she flapped them slightly before I brought my gloves in between them, rubbing it a little as Lyra seemed to mellow out slightly on top of me as she purred, I of course didn't hear a thing, but my whole body vibrated as she purred.

"Lyra... W-why are you rushing all of this?" I asked as I barely pulled away from the kiss as our forehead were still touching. She sighed as I stopped rubbing her back.

"I hate my father... He wants me to be married to that privileged freak... From what I heard from his last three girlfriends he's abusive and hates almost everyone, even his family is concidering to throw him out but can only do it if he gets married. So of course they probably made a deal with my not so real father like guardian..."

"what do you mean?"

"My actual father is the current king... He disowned me as his daughter since he wanted a boy... My mother agreed to it with a heavy heart and I got sent to my best friends house, my father... Or rather... Guardian is a d*ck to both his daughters and to me, he pushed me into marrying that stupid and atrocious Gallade so that he could become even more popular while he's in fact only clinging onto our wealth so that he can stay on the top."

Lyra said as I was baffled. I just shook my head for a second.

" so... He manipulated your guardian mother... To marry him, and now he's leaching off of all three of your income so that he can become more famous?"

"Simply put... Yes." Lyra said as she laid down her head onto my chest, I only placed my gloves onto her back as I rubbed her back, seeing a single tear run down her face as I pulled one of my gauntlets away and wiped her tear away.

"but I still want an answer to my question..."

"I've only got a couple of weeks before that wedding, and I don't want to see myself on that podium with him on it on the other side." Lyra said as I finally got it, if she only had a couple of weeks, she had to get someone to be her husband instead of this Gallade named Fraduitch under that time.

" Hey Lyra... What If I took you as my wife?"

" No! Not now... At least..."

"why not?" I asked as I rubbed her head a little, she seemed to enjoy it as she pushed her head against the palm of my glove, closing her eyes and being happy before she let it off and looked back at me.

"If you do, they'll probably be out for your head." She said as I couldn't do anything from the looks of it.

"What can I do then?" I asked as I kissed her lips softly again, feeling her snuggle up with me slightly after she broke it with me.

"To wake up."

"wake up?"

"yes~" She said as she bit my neck, feeling pain as if she just crushed it.

My eyes shot open as it was midnight already, something gently breezed past me and went to the other side of the room, a dark cloud suddenly vanished as it was already on Lyra's back before disappearing.

I slowly looked at her, blinking a few times as to what the hell just happened.

"Dream eater." a voice behind me said as I jumped up from the bed, crimson cape hanging over steel.

"God damn it Grej, can you not scare the shit out of me please?" I asked as he chuckled.

"well... I guess you kinda understand Lyra's situation as of now... How you enjoy it to the best of your abilities... I managed to figure out a lot of you throught what Lyra just did."

He said as I turned around and showed him my back, disappointed that it was just a dream and that Lyra used the move dream eater on me.

"Look kid, If you make a name for yourself in my ranks... I'll help the two of you out and make sure Fraduitch won't be Lyra's husband. However if you want to be the one next to her instead, you'll have to earn that." Grej said as Lyra was now looking at us, tears in her eyes.

" t-thank you" She said as Grej looked at her and smiled before he just sat down on the back of our cart and looked up at the night sky.

"Don't worry about it. I know his father and even he doesn't see Royalty in him." Grej said as he patted me on the shoulder.

"This is on your shoulder now Hellas, make sure you don't screw it up... Otherwise you might not be able to make the dream you had a reality." Grej said with a smirk as I blushed heavily while Lyra was visably in an awkward situation as Grej just chuckled again before getting out of our cart.

" Lyra, go back to using dream eater on him after he falls asleep, you might be able to mentally strengthen him." Grej said as Lyra just looked at me, rolling her eyes before turning towards the corner of the room and falling asleep. And quickly enough I tried followed suit, but didn't work.

" Hey Lyra."

"hmmm?" She hummed questioningly as she seemed to also be trying to to sleep.

"you know... If you look the same you looked like in the... Dream... You look s-stunning." I said as the sound of shuffling could be heard and when I looked I saw Lyra looking at me.

"Same goes for you." She said with a smile as I just looked at her face before sighing through my nose and getting up, she looked at me as I walked over to her bed.

"Mind if I pull your bed a little?"

"w-what?" She asked as her face turned somewhat red. However I grabbed her bed frame and pulled her bed to the middle of the room, she sighed before I pulled mine up next to her and got into bed.

"I'm so using dream eater on you tonight for this."

"then I just won't go to sleep.~" I said tauntingly as I got the feeling that she was trying to act like royalty but failed as I placed my gauntlet onto her shoulder, massaging it a little, hearing her purr softly before she turned her head towards me and glared, giving me the cue to stop it, which I did and turned around as well, our backs turned to each other as I just looked at the side of our cart.

"What was it like... Back home?" She asked as I opened my eyes to make sure I didn't fall asleep.

"hmmm, Intresting but... Gruesome, I never really liked it back home. Many of our customs were sheerly out of survival." I said as Lyra turned towards me, I felt something get placed onto the side of my shoulder. When I looked it was her paw and she was obviously facing my back at this point.

" Trust me... I know some disturbing things since some weren't hidden." I froze on the spot as I looked at her.

"Like blood like meat?" I asked as she backed off my shoulder as I turned around and looked at her puzzled face, making me chuckle slightly as I rubbed her head.

"Well... I guess we both have something private in common." She said as I just chuckled before a knock could be heard on our cart.

"Hellas, Lyra... Stop chuckling and laughing in the middle of the night, you might wake up Lola." Brigett said as her walking could be heard going farthur and farthur away from our cart.

I chuckled as I gave Lyra a kiss on the forehead, she only smiled, rubbing my right cheek with her paw before giving it a gentle slap, making me rub it before turning around and closing my eyes and falling asleep into a dark abyss.

"Hellas, why did you leave us?" I heard a faint voice in my head, it was pleading to me.

"why did you kill him?" It asked again as I tried answering, but felt like my mouth was sown together by string.

"weren't you two friends?" It asked again as I was dumbfounded. I shook my head. Knowing that all of this was just a dream.

"why did you kill Bernstein?" the voice asked as I tried to look at where the voice was coming from but didn't find anybody around.

"He killed him so that He could prove his worth, it's the same reason I threw him out." Another voice said as I was slowly feeling like I was waking up from the dream.

"You killed a friend so that you could prove something as obvious as to who was the strongest, Do you think it's correct of you?" the voice asked as I started waking up, feeling my surroundings turn white before I opened my eyes and shook my head.

When I looked out all I saw was black with a small hint of orange hue.

" Told you I would do it~" Lyra said from behind me as I just froze. Fear coming over me. I didn't kill him, he threw me out, but I did Black out before hand, only waking up in the jungle before my adventure.

"Don't ever do that again." I said as I looked her in the eyes, she pulled her head back slightly before giving a slow nod in response. I looked at her for a second before pulling her into a hug however she tried pushing me off slightly, but gave in and gave a slight snuggle into my chest before I released her.

She quickly got up and stretched out in front of me before getting out of the cart, Brigett, Jack, and Christopher were already ready and I already saw Grej nearly finished with getting the roof of the tent down that was on his cart.

"Hellas, come and help me take our roof down, we don't want to be slowed down by the winds." Lyra said as I got up and rubbed my face before getting out of the cart and helping Lyra with it. It didn't take long and I somewhat got accustomed to waking up with the rest of the group, my heads condition became a lot more stable but I still didn't dare take off the cloth that was on my head, soaking in blood slightly, however it seemed to dissapate as time went by.

As my footsteps hit the hard wood of the cart, I sat down on my bed looking at my gauntlets as Lyra came in.

"Hey, Lyra... Is it normal to mega evolve in a dream that you don't have any clue as to how you look?" I asked as Lyra sat down on her bed and looked at me, raising her head slightly as she began thinking.

"yyyyyeeeeaaaaahhhh... It can be possible if you've mega evolved previously in your life." She said as I recalled no memories of mega evolving.

"You see... I've never mega evolved thanks to the stone." I said as I took my helmet off and let my iron locks roll down as I took out the mega stone from my helmet.

"You have to have had to. There should be something that your body remembers." She said as she raised an eyebrow and tilted her head.

"by any chance... Do you have any sort of memory loss?" She asked as I began thinking a little, what if I wasn't knocked out but rather was possessed by something, maybe the whispers from the evening was correct, I might have killed Bernstein in my mega form and I don't recall a thing.

" I do... Before I got thrown out, I don't recall anything only walking in the forest and being chased by Bernstein and a beartic."

"Do you recall that beartic's name?"

I began thinking again, closing my eyes and looking upwards a little.

"no... I don't." I said as Lyra just sighed before looking downwards before she glanced up at me and then at my helmet.

"have you mentioned him in your diary?" She asked as I took off my helmet and the only things stached there were the mega stone which I couldn't use, and my notebook with the graphite pen.

"Maybe... I might have mentioned him in here somewhere... Not so sure."

I opened my notebook and began reading through it, as I guessed most of my entries were either because of my father, some were pictures with information on it, fighting styles, And then I flipped through a page containing a picture of a beartic it had a hammer in hand and a coat on its back made out of fur I was a bit disgusted by how well I drew that part until I realised it was his own and it was more of a cape.

"was this that beartic?" Grej asked as I nodded, Grej asked for my notebook but I only turned it slightly towards him and showed him the picture I drew as he leaned in on the picture.

"I know who this is from the hammer you drew in its hands.

"wait really?" Lyra asked excitedly as Grej's facial expression went to a saddened one as he stepped up and got in our cart.

"That beartic is Rojza, a master craftsmen who made many great weapons, Legendary in status and power. Some say that he could see what your soul needed, meaning he could create weapons perfect for you." Grej said as he straightened himself out once again, looking at us.

" Whatever you do... Keep this a secret among us, and know that If we see him at all, we'd all probably be dead."

"Grej!" Lyra spoke up immediately as I was confused.

"I'm telling the truth, the bear is a freaking monster with that hammer of his." Grej spoke softly as he looked at me for a split second, almost as if he was judgemental on me.

"You... Are and interesting kid..."
